You can buy it on Amazon for around 6€.

I can't keep this secret to myself anymore. Creightons Salicylic Acid Foaming Clay Cleanser came to me out of nowhere and blown me away.

I decided to buy this cleanser because I was having terrible acne and all over my face, and I simply couldn't get ride of it. So, my thinking was 'let's start my skincare all over again'. First, I stop using any product one my face for around three weeks and after that I start adding to my skincare, little by little.

Also, after much research, I understood that maybe what I would do best was using salicylic acid, because it helps remove dead skin cells, keeping the pores clean, and also reduces excess oil.

~~

I randomly bought this item at Loja Normal. And I absolutely love it. In the package it says that helps "absorb excess oil and maintain healthier, clearer looking skin" and it's so true!

Since the first moment that I start using it, that I see that my skin looks better, more radiant and I rarely (right now) have acne. For time to time, I do have one or two pimples, but I believe it's hormones, because it happens when my mood is off.

Also, I really like the fact that is clay. It was weird at first, but know that I began using it as a mask almost - meaning I put it on and leave it for awhile before rinsing it - I think it works wonders. Important to mention that I use everyday at night.

Overall, for the price, you get a super nice quality cleanser, which I do truly believe it does a good job and has been helping my skin a lot. Out of 5 stars, definitely a 3.5 score.

~~

These last weeks have been really stressful and full of events that I can barely have time for myself, or more like to relax properly. Since I also feel like I don't have time to think of creative ideas for the blog, I decided to the what was right in front of my nose: a day in my life.

Also, since some new things have happened in my life, I thought it would be interesting for you to know about them. Without further a do, here you have a work day in my life.

~~

7:30 a.m.

I try to wake up at this hour everyday, if not earlier, but sometimes it's a bit difficult. But I have to, because here it's where the new thing comes up. Recently, I started interning at a magazine. Luckly it's a hybrid work, which means I can work from home most of the time.

So, I wake up around this hour so I have time to get ready, prepare breakfast and relax a little bit, for example watching a tv show or reading, before I need to go for my internship.

~~

7h30

Recentemente, comecei a estagiar numa revista.

9:30 a.m.

I start my internship usually at this hour (at least for this day). Sometimes I can go earlier, sometimes a minute later, but always around this time. My intern is basically writing news for the magazine. Just that the whole morning. And that's basically it, until I decide it's lunch time.

~~

9h30

1:30 p.m.

For today, lunch had to be around this hour because I then have my part-time job and I need to have time to eat and finish getting ready. My day at the internship finish basically now, but if I want, and sometimes I do, I work on some news after I get home.

~~

13h30

3 p.m.

On my way to my job, since I take public transport, I try to take advantage of that time. It depends of what I have to do or what I'm feeling like doing - there are days that I just want to listen to music - but normally I try to read a little bit. My part-time starts at 3p.m. and ends at 7p.m.

~~

15h

8 p.m.

When I arrive home, the first thing that I do, and it's not everyday that I feel like it, it's do my workout session. Because it's been difficult to manage everything and not get overwhelmed with everything, and even exausted, I don't workout for long, just about 30 minutes.

After that I go take a shower, put on my pajamas and get comfortable.

~~

20h

9 p.m.

Only at this hour when I eat dinner. Also because it's usually when my sister arrives from work, so it's perfectly on time for me. From here my day can very a lot. There are days that I feel so tired that after eating I just go to the sofa and stay there; other times that I want to relax, I go and be on my pc; when I feel more energized, I actually get some more work done. Specially, if it's nice outside, there is light until super late, that really helps my mood.

~~

21h

10 p.m.

For this day, I felt both energized and wanting to relax. So, what I did was worked a little bit on my internship - really just a tiny bit - and also on my blog, here I put a lot more focus. I don't stay too long, unless I'm very invested, because I starting to already feel like that I spend a lot of time in front of a computer.

~~

22h

11 p.m.

Finally, after I decide I don't want to be working anymore, or my eyes already hurt a bit, I turn off the pc and go do my skincare routine. I don't always do it right away, but I discover that it's the best way. That because, I go afterwards watch a tv show or something and normally I fall asleep. That way I don't have to worry about still having to do it. But I don't always go do it.

~~

23h

12 a.m.

It's the hour I try to go to bed. I almost never make it, but it's what I want to happen. And since today, I tried to do my ideal routine, taking into account things that I can't change, I'm pretty happy.

~~

Meia-noite

As you may know by now, I don't necessarily have my rest days on the weekend. It may happen, but most of the times are on week days. Therefore, saturdays are not always just fun and games for me. Luckly, I don't work a lot of hours, but I like to feel like I'm being productive all day.

My mornings are not exactly the same all days that I do the afternoon shift, that's why I'm mentioning saturday. It's how my moring went today.

~~

7a.m.

Even though I'm only going to work at 4pm, I try to wake up early. Today, I had a group run, so I wake up at 7am to get ready and be at the spot a little before 8:30, that it's when we start running. We ended at around 10am, we only did 11km, but it always extends a little bit because we also want to be with each other and talk.

~~

11a.m.

It was a beautiful hot day outside, but it was time to get home. When I got home, I went straight to the shower. It was only after washing my body and hair that I did my morning skincare routine. I put on some comfortable clothes, just to wear around the house, and went to the kitchen to do something to eat.

11:30a.m.

Since I already arrived a bit late, I didn't do a big breakfast, just something to get me through until lunch time. I decided for a croissant and obviously my cup of coffee. It's not very healthy, but it is delicious. I also took this opportunity to, while eating, catch up on social media.

~~

12p.m.

Even though we could already consider it lunch time, I take another hour to work on some stuff. Today, I worked on the blog and also on my freelance job. Believe it or not, I do stay working for that whole hour and it passes way to quickly.

Also, before actually start working, I wrote my to do list since I didn't do it last night.

~~

Meio-dia

1p.m.

It sometimes passes some minutes, okay? It's not an exact hour, but around this time we start to set the table for lunch. In our family we do take some time eating, since we have coffee, desert and we just stay there talking or watching something on the tv.

~~

13 horas

Algumas vezes passam uns minutos, okay?

2:15p.m

Strangely, I don't get ready right away. I actually first like to go to the computer or tv to watch something. As of now, I'm still watching the third season of The Great, I'm on episode 6. As you may guess, I only have time for one. I'm actually quite enjoying the show, I don't know why it took me so long to watch this new season.

~~

14:15

Estranhamente, não vou logo despachar-me. Neste momento, estou a ver a terceira temporada de The Great, estou no episódio 6.

3p.m.

After it, I'm probably almost late, so I really need to get ready. I do my makeup, that it does take some time, since I like to do fun eyeliners nowadays. And I also get dress for work, in my case, I actually have a uniform so I don't have to decided what to wear.

3:30p.m.

It's finally time to go to work. I always like to be there 15 minutes before, so I get time to relax a little bit, maybe go to the bathroom and also chat a little bit with some co-workers.

~~

15 horas.

Three days ago, before work, I went with my sister and a friend, to the first edition of the Lisbon Vegan Market. It turns out I didn't film all that much, so what was supposed to be a vlog turned into a mini-log. Just a fraction of my day for me to remember in the future.

The Lisbon Vegan Market was located at Braço de Prata, so we went by train. It was smaller than what I imagined, but once you got to look at all the amazing things that were there, they all look delicious. It wasn't just food, there were also businesses of clothing, skincare, accessories, etc.

I tried the (a)typical pão com chouriço, one bifana vegan and as well as a traditional cookie. Spoiler, they were to die for. I also bought a tasting package of "enchidos".

I still filmed in vertical, so if you don't like let me know. Also, I mostly do fast-paced and quick videos, so if you would like longer ones, also tell me.

~~

I show you a lot of my days routines, specially mornings, not gonna lie, because they are not the same every day. They do change according to how I'm feeling, mentally, but also in the mood too. With that, I thought a nice think to talk about would be what are the basic things I do in my day. In an ordinary day, that's how things go.

~~

Note: Since I'm working, I really don't go by week days and weekends, is more like work days and day offs.

Everyday I try to wakeup early, around 7:30a.m.. Sometimes, I do get up earlier, because of my work schedule. Nevertheless, my ultimate goal is to wakeup when the sun rises.

If I'm working the night shift, while I'm doing breakfast I'll watch some youtube videos and while I'm eating I'll watch a serie. If I'm working the morning shift, I'll do both of these things in the afternoon. I also always try to work a little bit on the blog everyday, whether in the morning or late afternoon.

~~

Another thing that I do everyday is working out. Since that is something that is already part of my routine, I decided to do my stretch session after my workouts. When I'm not weight / pilates trainning, I'll go for a run. I try to do it at least once a week, but the ideal is two times.

To drink my 2L of water, I try to drink half a liter every four hours. However, right when I wake up I drink one glass, but preferably half a liter.

~~

When I'm not working, on my days off, is when I focus on my hobbies: learning tarot and study korean. These two I'm still getting used to, as I always feel like I don't have enough time for everything (cleaning too) on these days.

~~

About my habit of reading, I don't really schedule that because is already something I very much enjoy, so I'm able to do whenever I want, but I may start reading when I'm going to work, on the public transport, but also on my days off.

Finally, I'm starting to get used to go to bed a little bit earlier, around 11:30p.m, after us as a family watch some shows on TV. Going earlier, gives me also more time to dedicate on my skincare routine.

~~

Before hand, I'm sorry. This vlog was not planned at all. Honestly, I had in mind to film other day that I was planning better, but this morning, that I'm about to show you, just happened out of nowhere (almost) and I though it was ideal. And to be fair it was a very healing spontaneous time with my friend, that enjoyed quite a lot. I believe those moments should also be shown because they are so pure and so much more realistic.

In summary, since I had to go to work in the afternoon we decided to meet on a tuesday so that way we could visit the Santa Clara flea market in Lisbon, in the morning, and afterwards we could enjoy brunch together. And it was my friend's first brunch.

I still filmed in vertical, so if you don't like let me know. Also, I mostly do fast-paced and quick videos, so if you would like longer ones, also tell me.

~~

Antes demais, desculpem.

A disclaimer, I can feel my productivity levels really low. Not living alone anymore and this cold weather really changes my mood on stuff. Nevertheless, I'm forcing myself to do stuff, and there are some little things that you can do to up your productivity, but I leave that for another post, if you want.

On this one, I decided to show you what a saturday afternoon, after working in the morning, looks like. Be reminded that it's all about going slow and do stuff that you are feeling. Don't rush things and don't make you feel guilty. It's all about the moment.

~~

I normally arrive a bit late at home. When I finally go have lunch it's usually around 3p.m. Not an ideal hour, but it is what it is. And again I don't rush things up, because I know after lunch I will have to do important stuff, things that require more attention and focus.

Before the meal, right when I arrive, I like to go change my clothes. I take off my work uniform and put on some comfortable clothes on.

I take my time eating lunch. In the meantime I can be watching tv or some show. I'm not also eating alone, so I may just be talking.

~~

Demoro o meu tempo a comer.

After that, I organize the home a little bit, and start focusing on the important things. With that I mean, blog related stuff. Or my hobbies that I want to get better at.

Depending on my mood, I sometimes make a snack or just a drink to enjoy while I'm working or for when I'm watching a tv show or something.

~~

As you may know, I'm someone that likes to do a lot stuff and can't stay doing the same thing for a long period of time. Therefore, after around an hour or a little more, I need to let loose some tension. In that matter or I'll do some physical stuff, for example, today I needed to do my IPL hair removal session, or I'll just do something that doesn't require thinking, such as watching youtube videos.

~~

Thereafter, it's definitely time to get my workout in. As you already know, my workout sessions are around 50 minutes, so as I finish I only have time to go shower and start preparing the table for dinner. I'm lucky enough to have my mom around to make it for me.

~~

If I choose to wait for my sister to arrive from work, which is around 9p.m, I will spend that time reading. That hour is actually good to read since the house is calm and my body and mind is also relaxed. As of now, I'm reading Venom & Glory from Shanora Williams as an ebook, since I couldn't find the physical version in the bookshops here in Portugal.

And here it ends, basically, my afternoon. Even though is already pretty late to call it afternoon when I finish my workout.

~~

E aqui acaba, basicamente, a minha tarde.

Therefore, I decided to write this post, not only for you, but for me too, to take conscience that we need time to adapt and honestly is all a process of try and error. Even if sometimes we think we want to accomplish something, when you actually try it, it may not bring you happiness like you thought.

~~

First of all, I did a list of every single resolution and things I wanted to accomplish this year. For me it was continue to drink 2 liters of water per day, vlog once a month and post once a week, read 10 books, learn to read tarot cards, continue my studies in korean, wake up when the sunrises, go to bed earlier, train my running and finally stretch overall and to reach the middle splits.

~~

Second, I tried it. You can do all at the same time, or adding one by one as the time goes one. However, I advise you of creating a weekly schedule with the things you want to do and start doing. That because this is the routine you want to do onward. If that routine doesn't work or you feel that something is wrong, change it until it does work and you feel fullfiled.

Third (and last), remember you don't need to do everything everyday. Or if you don't do it one day, that doesn't mean you failed, circunstances happen.

~~

As you know, I'm back in Lisbon and even though my life is not as interesting (I believe), I still take joy out of filming and show you my day-to-day life. Even if I'm kind off bad at remembering to film, but I am really trying though.

My day offs are the ones where more stuff happens, but this time it landed perfectly on my best friend's birthday and we went bowling. However, expect more chill (lofi) type of vlogs, as I'm also trying to organize my life and getting back on track.

I still filmed in vertical, so if you don't like let me know. Also, I mostly do fast-paced and quick videos, so if you would like longer ones, also tell me.

Last post, I showed you, through a vlog, how my mornings normally are. This time I decided to present you my night routine. Since it's not that long and very calm and peaceful, I thought that a video was not needed, however you have here some illustrating photos and a recommend lofi song to listen to while reading it (Music by .irg - satisfy (feat. Patient Zero, Kaz Benson, Patient Zero Beats)

Also, I’m not mentioning hours because it changes accordingly to what shift I’m doing. For example, when I’m doing the morning shift, I need to wake up at 3:30a.m so I go to bed at 9p.m.

After working out and having dinner, I normally like to do something productive, like work on the blog or work/school related stuff. Just something important that needs to be done as quickly as possible. I feel that if I leave it for longer I won't have energy to do it.

I stay doing that just for as long as I can be focus. Since it’s already late, I can’t stay doing something for long. It's just to end the day with a bit of that productive feeling, that we did something on our to do list.

Next, to unwind from the work and the previous projects, I like to relax to one of my hobbies. What I started doing recently is while watching a korean drama, youtube or just TV, I like to be drinking tea (you know, this cold weather asks for warm calming drinks). It's a great way to start calming your system and make youserlf a bit sleepy.

After that, an episode or around an hour, I go do my skincare routine. Even though it doesn't take long, I don't like to rush things up. Specially because sometimes I'm so sleepy that I don't even enjoy that part of the day. Therefore, I like to do it early so that doesn't happen. Right before going to bed I also write on my agenda what I need to do on the next day

~~

Finally, now that I'm not full from the dinner, I go to bed. I actually am lucky enough to say that I fall asleep rather quickly, in 5 minutes, but I do scroll through my phone, not for long, just to feel updated about what's going on around the world and on my friends' lifes.

~~

Good night xx
