I have to say that I'm not the biggest dungarees lover. And is not really in my style. However, once I saw these ones in person I found it so beautiful. Since it's not an item I owned and it was on sale, I decided to give it a chance. Will I buy more? No. Will I wear these? Definitely, yes. I can totally make them my style, with a few changes, which makes it less comfortable, unfortunately.

But that's exactly that outfit I'm going to show you. I wore it while in the countryside, which suited the vibe pretty well and it wasn't that uncomfortable.

Tenho a dizer que eu não sou a maior fã de jardineiras. E não é realmente o meu estilo. Porém, assim que vi estas pessoalmente, eu achei-as lindas. Uma vez que não é um item que possuia e estava em saldos, decidi dar uma chance. Irei comprar mais? Não. Vou usar estas? Definitivamente, sim. Consigo totalmente torná-las o meu estilo, com algumas mudanças, o que torna um pouco menos confortável, infelizmente.

Mas é esse outfit que vos venho mostrar. Eu usei enquanto estava na terrinha, o que ficava muito bem com a atmosfera, e não era assim tão desconfortável.

Obviously, the center piece are the overalls. They are a dark denim, which makes it easier to go for a more edgier look. But you can still make it playful, since it has snoopy right in the front, it also calls for that style.

Since it's still a really bit chilly outside, I opted for a knitwear. Mustard yellow to go with the lettering around the overalls. But I can totally see them paired with an off the shoulder button up shirt. Then, I added a belt. It doesn't have a place for it, but since I don't love things loose on the waist, I decided to put one on, and it worked fine. Obviously gold was my choice because it suits me better, but go for another tone if you think it compliments you better.

Finally, to make it the pick of edginess, I rolled the legs a little bit and put on my Dr. Martens in burgundy. It does make it a bit clown-ish, but I think it makes is fun and edgy at the same time. Definitely, go for some accessories to spice it up and make an hairstyle that also goes with your outfit.

Obviamente, a peça central é as jardineiras. Elas são de uma ganga escura, o que torna mais fácil ir para um visual mais ousado. Mas também podem tornar mais divertido, visto que também tem o Snoopy na parte da frente.

Uma vez que ainda está um pouco de frio, optei por uma malha. Amarelo mostarda para combinar com a letra nas jardineiras. Mas consigo totalmente combinar também com uma camisa a ver-se os ombros. Depois, adicionei um cinto. Não tem presilhas, mas visto que não gosto que esteja largo na cintura, decidi por um e funcionou bem. Obviamente dourado foi a minha escolha, porque me fica melhor, mas vão para outro tom se acham que complementa-vos melhor.

Finalmente, para chegar ao pico de edgy, dobrei um pouco o fundo das calças e calcei as minhas Dr. Martens em bordô. Lembra um pouco um palhaço, mas até acho que fica engraçado e ousado. Definitivamente, usem acessórios para dar um jazz no visual e façam um penteado que melhor combine com o look.

And we are finally at this time of the year, when we celebrate the Oscars. By not only watching the ceremony and getting nervous to know the winners, but also to appreciate and give recognition to the best looks on the red carpet. It's crazy that it is my fourth consecutive year doing this.

If you read last years post, you know that I write this while the Oscars are live so if you see any mistake I'm sorry.

Talking now about the red carpert itself: I am disappointed. Nothing really amazed me, every look felt very safe and no one had the wow factor. Nevertheless, I was able to choose some. Spoiler, none are black, which was clearly a trend on the champagne carpet.

E aqui estamos finalmente neste altura do mês, quando celebramos os Óscares. Não apenas por assistindo a cerimónia e ficar nervosos com os nomeados, mas também para apreciar e dar reconhecimento aos melhores visuais da passadeira vermelha. É espantoso pensar que é o meu quarto ano consecutivo a fazer isto.

Se leram os posts dos anos anteriores sabem que escrevo isto enquanto vejo os óscares em direto, por isso se tiver erros peço desculpa.

Falando agora da passadeira em si: estou desapontada. Nada me espantou, senti que todos os looks jogaram pelo seguro e ninguém tinha o fator wow. Contudo, escolhi alguns. Spoiler, nenhum é preto, o que foi claramente uma moda na passadeira champagne.

It wasn't the biggest, nor the prettiest to speak honestly. But there was something that just worked with the simplicity of the pink chinese inspired dress and the black feathery tail. Plus, it worked wonders in her.

Não foi o maior, nem o mais bonito para falar a sério. Mas há alguma coisa que apenas funcionou entre a simplicidade do vestido rosa inspirado chinês e a cauda de penas preta. Para mais que funcionou ainda melhor nela.

# Angela Basset

She always rocks. I don't believe it's her best dress, but again her figure in the dress just elevates everything. I also believe that purple complements her skin tone so much. And she stood out because of the colour choice.

I believe I like every year's dress of hers. Not only she looks stunning in anything, but also because her dresses are usually unique and casual approaches to elegancy. Personally, I love to see red and it gains even more points when it has pockets.

Todos os anos eu gosto do vestido dela. Não só ela fica bem em qualquer coisa, mas porque os vestidos são usualmente são uma abordagem única e casual de elegância. Pessoalmente, adoro ver vermelho e ganha ainda mais pontos por ter bolsos.

I must say that this was the one that surprised me. I was not thinking, at all, that he would go for something a bit out of the ordinary. But what really won my heart, was the pants. They are flared. And incredibly I feel like it works.

Tenho a dizer que este sim surpreendeu-me. Não estava nada a pensar que ele escolheria isto. Mas o que realmente ganhou o meu coração foi as calças. São à boca de sino. E incrivelmente, para mim, sinto que funciona bastante bem.

The show of the the skin was a trend this oscars red carpet. However, if someone does it well it is Janelle Monae. This connected two piece, with different colours, both that goes really well in her, is beautiful. Love the corpet crop top with the draped skirt.

A pele à mostra foi sem dúvida a moda da passadeira vermelha dos óscares. Porém, se alguém o faz bem é a Janelle Monae. Este two piece ligado, com diferentes cores, ambos que lhe caem muito bem, é lindo. Adoro o corpete curto com a saia drapeada.

I like to give recognition to the men that put some work into their outfits. And Keoghan was one of them. To be honest, it's not stunning or anything out of the ordinary. But the fact that it has that baby blue colour and those buttons it's already something else, so stunning.

Eu gosto de dar reconhecimento aos homens que põe algum trabalhos nos seus outfits. E o Keoghan foi um deles. Honestamente, não é nada muito fora do normal. Mas o facto de ser de cor azul bebé e com aqueles botões torna já em alguma coisa, esplêndido.

Yes, I said I had no order, but this one was by far my favourite. That duo colour blocked racy gown was just gorgeous. The grey blue with the grape burgundy is a combination I never thought would worked so beautifully.

Sim, eu disse que não tinha uma ordem, mas este é sem dúvida o meu favorito. A dualidade de cores do vestido é deslumbrante. O azul acinzentado com o borgonha uva é a combinação que nunca pensei que precisava, mas que é tão linda. 

 I'm not a big believer of diets. Specially because working out is so important to me and I see it as the way to go. Not telling that is the right way. However, I do think detoxes might work. They won't probably give you instant results, and maybe nor even physical results, but they do help your organism.

For a while a lot of adds about detox teas were appearing on my feed, and I really though of buying to try. I might still do it. However, I found that some people believe green tea can have the same effect. So, since I have that at home I decided to drink green tea everyday for 15 days.

Were I focused the most was if my lower belly bloatness would get better, since it's something I struggle with. Also, I need to mention that this was almost three weeks before my period is supposed to appear.

Eu não sou uma grande crente de dietas. Especialmente porque fazer exercício físico é muito importante para mim e vejo como a maneira ideal. Não dizendo que é a correta. Contudo, eu acho que detoxes podem funcionar. Eles não vos iram dar resultados instantâneos, e talvez nem físicos, mas podem ajudar o organismo.

Durante um tempo, um monte de anúncios de chás de detox apareciam no meu feed e pensei mesmo em comprar. Talvez ainda o faça. Porém, eu encontrei que algumas pessoas acreditam que o chá verde faça o mesmo efeito. Então, uma vez que tenho em casa, decidi experimentar beber chá verde todos os dias durante 15 dias.

Onde me foquei foi se o inchaço abdominal melhorava, visto que é algo com que luto. E, menciono também que estava quase três semanas de me aparecer o período. 

On day 1, I drank it right after waking up, on an empty stomach. Because I had at home two tea bags of decaf green tea, I decided to use that. I have to say that I felt a bit nauseous. So on day 2 I drank the green tea while eating breakfast and it felt much better. To try on day 3 I went for an afternoon tea, 3 hours after lunch. And it was also pleasant. Since my decaf finished, I started using a green tea with mint onwards. I did the same on day 4: afternoon green tea with a scone. Finally on day 5 I went for some tea before bed. And I didn’t felt too good, my stomach was not well.

Until here I hadn’t see any results or consequences. It was on day 6 that I saw some things. I woke up a bit bloated and I started seeing some pimples purging on my face and chest. Also from here on now, I drank the green tea with mint always before going to bed. Because it was easier and started to actually feel good on my system.

On day 7, the bloating had disappeared, but on the other side I felt hungrier. The pimples were still appearing. On day 8, my gut was starting to deliver me signs. I was pooping a lot more. On day 9, I continue feeling the same things: a gut cleanse and some release of toxins through pimples. On day 10 however my pimples started to fade.

Last 5 days. A week before my period. Not only I felt that even eating more carbohydrates, like rice, I was not as bloated as usual, I was also not bloated like I used to, for the time of the month. I feel it helped in that sense.

Day 15. My skin is way better. I don’t feel bloated. Even if I get hungry, I easily get satisfied. And I continue pooping which helps clean my gut. Downside, I’m getting sick of the taste of the tea.

No dia 1, bebi assim que acordei, com o estômago vazio. Porque tinha duas saquetas de chá descafeinado verde, decidi usá-las. Tenho a dizer que me senti um pouco mal disposta. Por isso no dia 2, bebi enquanto tomava o pequeno-almoço e senti-me muito melhor. Para experimentar, no dia 3, fui para um chá verde com menta à tarde. Fiz o mesmo no dia 4: chá verde com menta à tarde com um scone. Finalmente, no dia 5, bebi o chá antes de me deitar. E não caiu assim tão bem.

Até aqui não vi nenhum resultado ou consequência. Foi no dia 6 que vi algumas coisas. Acordei um pouco inchada e algumas borbulhas começaram a aparecer na minha cara e peito ("purging"). Também daqui a diante, bebi sempre chá verde com menta antes de me deitar. Porque tornava-se mais fácil e comecei até a sentir-me bem, acalmava o meu sistema.

No dia 7, o inchaço desapareceu, mas por outro lado, senti-me com mais fome. As borbulhas continuavam a aparecer. No dia 8, o meu intestino deu sinais. Comecei a fazer mais coco. No dia 9, continuei a sentir as mesmas coisas: limpeza de intestinos e libertação de toxinas pelas borbulhas. No dia 10, porém, as borbulhas começaram a desaparecer.

Últimos 5 dias. Uma semana para o meu período. Não só senti que mesmo comendo alguns carbohidratos, como arroz, não ficava tão inchada, como também não inchei tanto como costumo nesta altura do mês. Sinto que ajudou nesse sentido.

Dia 15. A minha pele está muito melhor. Não me sinto inchada. Mesmo estando com fome, facilmente fico satisfeita. E continuo a fazer coco, o que ajuda na limpeza do intestino. Parte má, estou a ficar farta do sabor do chá.
