With this iniciative I realised that I love starting my mornings with purpose and intention through affirmations for positivity - believe me affirmations is something I'm going to carry with me dearly. Because it was so important for me during this month I will leave here my favourite quotes of this journey.

I'm a morning person so I'm always looking for something that gives me energy and peace at the same time, so the rest of my day goes smoothly but also I'm being productive (without too much stress). And starting my day with a little bit of yoga it was really what was missing on my mornings, definitely I goal of mine is to start doing it every morning in 2021 - no matter how early in the morning (because it doesn't really work, for me, latter on the day). I honestly recommend everyone to, at least, try it for a few mornings and see how you feel through out your day, keeping this affirmation in your mind and maybe repeating it when you need it. 

Neste mês de novembro, resolvi propor-me para um desafio. Tive uma vontade de começar algo assim, não apenas porque sou interessada em exercício físico, mas também porque senti que a minha mente precisava de um momento. Então, visto que meditar não resulta, a melhor coisa a seguir é yoga. Com isto dito, comecei o meu "Morning Yoga Movement", um desafio da Yoga with Kassandra, em que pratico 10 minutos de yoga todos os dias.

Com esta iniciativa apercebi-me que adoro começar as minhas manhãs com um propósito e uma intenção através de afirmações de positividade - acreditem que afirmações são algo que vou levar comigo bem junto. Por ter sido tão importante para mim durante este mês, deixo aqui algumas das minhas citações preferidas desta jornada.

Eu sou uma pessoa de acordar cedo, então estou sempre à procura de algo que me dê energia e paz ao mesmo tempo, para que o resto do meu dia corra bem, mas também que eu seja produtiva (sem ter stress). E começar o meu dia com um pouco de yoga, era mesmo o que faltava nas minhas manhãs, definitivamente um objetivo para o ano de 2021, fazer todos os dia de manhã - não importa quão cedo tenho de me levantar (porque não resulta para mim, se for mais tarde no dia). Honestamente, eu recomendo a todos para, ao menos, tentarem algumas manhãs e verem como se sentem durante o resto do dia, mantendo a afirmação do dia na mente e talvez repetindo-a quando precisam.

 Since we are already half way of november and that means exams and tests week(s), I thought that would be a great thing to share with you the (k-pop) songs I listen to while studying, the playlist I like to call 3A.M. Songs, because let's be honest, I only have time to study at night, so that period tend to extend to late hours.

Uma vez que já estamos a meio de novembro e isso quer dizer que estamos na altura de exames e testes, pensei que seria uma coisa boa partilhar convosco algumas músicas (de k-pop) que eu ouço enquanto estudo, a playlist que eu gosto de chamar 3A.M. Songs (músicas das três da manhã), porque, vamos ser honestos, eu só tenho tempo para estudar à noite, e esse período tende a estender-se até horas tardias.

Todas as músicas que vou partilhar estão numa playlist do spotify minha, mas podem encontrá-las individualmente e no youtube. As músicas são também todas baladas calmas, quase todas, e têm uma melodia relaxante e nostálgica.

 Before WOODZ releases is new mini album, which I'm so excited to listen to, I here to show another makeup inspired in k-pop artists, this time I got inspiration by the live clip of Accident from WOODZ.

I, absolutely, love this song, it's definitely in my top 3 of best songs of the year, so I just couldn't let her pass through without at least a mention. I also thought that the colours used in the live clip, red and blue, would go really well in this time of year, plus it takes me out of my comfort zone since it's not colours that I use normally.

Antes que o WOODZ lance o seu novo mini álbum, o qual estou muito ansiosa por ouvir, estou aqui para vos mostrar outra maquilhagem inspirada em artistas coreanos, desta vez tirei inspiração do live clip da música "Accident" do WOODZ.

Eu, absolutamente, adoro esta música, está definitivamente no meu top 3 de melhores músicas do ano, por isso eu não podia deixá-la passar sem mencioná-la uma vez. Também pensei que seria bom utilizar as cores do live clip, vermelho e azul, porque ficam bem nesta época do ano, e mais tira-me da minha zona de conforto uma vez que que são cores que não uso normalmente.

Deixo aqui algumas fotos do vídeo para referência, mas eu recomendo imenso que vão ver o vídeo e ouvir a música, claro.

It's been one month since university started, for me at least for some of you it's more or less, so I believe, and it's already my third year, I can give you a very summarized, and really what you need, list of the essentials for university.

There are 10 things you will need:

1. Planner or agenda - personally I like the ones that have monthly pages because I can see everything I have for that month, but choose the ones that will make your work more organize. It will definitely be a lifesaver to do every school work in time.
2. Post-its - believe when I say this, they will save your memory. I stick those in my computer, on my notebooks, my phone if it's really urgent, and that keeps me on track of what I still need to do, and what is the next closest thing I need to deliever.
3. Highlighters - these little ones are going to save up your time when you start studying, because the most important phrases/subjects you are going to highlight, and that way you don't need to read texts or notes twice.
4. Notebook + colourful pens + bag - obviously this are very basic and well known, but let me tell you that in university, at least in my experience, you only really need one notebook for all your subjects, and colourful pens are going to be your's notebook best friend, because you can separate which subject.
5. Water Bottle - one of the things that keeps me going and awake in class is water, because I need to stay hidrated to keep my focus.
6. PC or Tablet - depending on the person, if you have some free time between classes, they are going to be really good to have, because, rather than staying on your phone or so, you can start moving foward in some of your paper works.
7. Pastes for all subjects - be sure to have pastes in your pc screen, ready to go, for all your subjects. That way you have easy access to all your subjects materials (and in these times is really crucial).
8. Portable charger - I'll be realistic, there's not many times that I needed it, but sometimes you do really use up a lot of batery talking on whatsapp, with your group to discuss some work.
9. Hygiene kit - this one is more for the ladies, but to everyone too. Take some space your bag to some hygiene essentials, you never know, you may need perfume or pads, or some bandages...
10. Coffee - last but not least, if you don't drink already, you WILL start. It's the caffeine that will mantain your body to keep working no mather what. And make your mornings a lot better.

I can't believe it's the second to last post of the "monthly outfit" series. But do not worry, I already have an idea for the "monthly outfit" series of 2021. 

Não acredito que é o penúltimo post da série de "outfit mensais". Mas não se preocupem, eu já tenho uma ideia para a nova versão desta série para 2021.

Por agora, vamos falar do visual de novembro. Foi por acaso bastante fácil e eu acho que vai muito bem com o mês de novembro, escolha de cores, materiais, tipo de peças, etc. E também com o tempo que está em Portugal. 

Since my sister is very fond about Halloween, I'm kind of starting to like it as much as well. Also, it's very fun to dress up and have a little party. 

Even though we are on a pandemic, me and my sister usually do a two party at home, so nothing did change much. However, we did have a lot more food, decoration, overall preparation this year. In the next dinning room pictures you are about to see a lot of the kitchen supplies, decoration are from tiger, other little things are from the supermarket; the snacks, sweets and savories, are from Aldi and Lidl; finally, the meals were home made and, I believe, everything had pumpkin on it.

About the costumes, both of us kind of made them last minute - actually, I decided on the halloween morning - with that said, my sister was Maud, from the movie Saint Maud (the movie haven't premiere in a lot of places, but we were lucky to have it premiere first hand here in Portugal) and I was Esther aka the orphan, from the movie Orphan.

Uma vez que a minha irmã adora o Halloween, eu também estou a começar a gostar bastante. Também é divertido mascararmo-nos e ter uma pequena festa.

Embora estejamos numa pandemia, o que eu e a minha irmã usualmente fazemos é uma festa a dois em cada, por isso nada mudou. No entanto, nós estivemos bastante mais comida, decoração, no geral preparação este ano. Nas próximas fotos da sala vão ver bastantes materiais de cozinha, decoração da Tiger e outras do supermercado; os petiscos, doces e salgados, são do Aldi e do Lidl; finalmente, a refeição foram feitas em casa e, eu acredito, tudo tinha abóbora.

Sobre os disfarces, ambos foram feitos à última da hora - por acaso o meu foi mesmo decidido nessa manhã - com isso dito, a minha irmã foi a Maud, do filme Saint Maud (o filme ainda não estreou em muitos sítios, mas nós tivemos a oportunidade de estrear mundialmente aqui em Portugal) e eu fui a Esther aka a orfã, do filme Orfã.

Em suma, nós divertimo-nos muito durante todo o dia, desde o cozinhar até aos disfarces, passando pelo jantar, as conversas, a maquilhagem e obviamente o filme - este ano acordamos que íamos ver o franchise do Hellraiser (tem 10 filmes, wow. Estamos no quarto).
