It was my first doing a small christmas with my dad. Usually I spend the christmas eve with all of the fams, however this year that wasn't possible. Which, honestly, it wasn't that bad, I enjoyed it - it felt cozier, more personal and I was the host of the christmas party which I like.

The Christmas Eve and Day was spent with my dad, my sister and my grandmother, and we all had so much fun. 

The Christmas Eve (Day) was full of work, not in a bad way, it was just that all of us wanted to do some kind of dessert and we still needed to do the dinner and eat something for lunch obviously. So you have numbers in mind, we did around 5 desserts and the dinner took around 2 hours to do. Oh, and I also had to improvise a good table decoration. We didn't take much photos, but I leave here some.

Foi a minha primeira vez a fazer um pequeno Natal com o meu pai. Usualmente eu passo a véspera de Natal com toda a família paterna, no entanto este ano não foi possível. O que, honestamente, não foi nada mau, eu gostei muito - foi mais acolhedor, pessoal e eu fui a anfitriã da festa de Natal.

Tanto a véspera como o Natal foram passados com o meu pai, a minha irmã e a minha avó, e nós divertimo-nos tanto.

A véspera de Natal foi preenchida com muito trabalho, não sendo uma coisa má, nós apenas tínhamos muitas sobremesas que queríamos fazer, e mais tarde, ainda tivemos de fazer o jantar (e claro preparámos um almocinho). Para terem números em mente, nós fizemos à volta de 5 sobremesas e o jantar demorou 2 horas a fazer. Oh, e tivemos que improvisar uma boa decoração de natal. Nós não tirámos muitas fotos, mas deixo aqui algumas.

And then we had the dinner, which took way too long. We had appetizers, that made us almost instantly full, then the actual meal (it was pretty good, I have to say, being my first time doing it), and finally the sweets. Oh, but between each we had to relax for about 30 minutes, because we were so full. All of that while watching the movies that were passing on tv.

Since we took so much time eating (and listening to the tv and also fireworks), in an instant it was already time to open the presents, and we honestly had so many to exchange, which made the moment way better.

We laughed, we cried, we were grateful for what/who we had around us, and finally, at 3a.m, we went to bed.

E finalmente tivemos o jantar de Natal, que demorou demasiado tempo. Tivemos as entradas, que nos pôs cheios num instante, seguidamente a refeição principal (que estava bastante boa para a minha primeira vez a fazer), e por último os doces. Ah, e entre cada prato tínhamos que relaxar durante 30 minutos, porque estávamos tão cheios. Tudo isso enquanto víamos filmes que estavam a passar na tv.

Visto que passámos tanto tempo a comer (e a ouvir a televisão e fogo-de-artifício), num instante já era hora de abrir os presentes, e realmente foram muitas prendas para trocas, o que tornou o momento muito melhor.

Nós rimos, chorámos, sentimo-nos gratos pelas coisas/pessoas à nossa volta, e finalmente, às 3 da manhã, era hora de ir para a cama.

Good Morning! The Christmas day begins, and our belly still feels so (damn) full. But it's good to be awake at such early hour.

In general, all of us didn't do much this day, it was purely relaxation, minus the lunch. Us four watched 3 movies, took some photos, played a board game. And continued to talk, laugh, cry, have fun! It was such an amazing two days. We all talk about an atypical christmas, but you know what? I'm quite thankful, maybe I would never have a christmas like this if it wasn't for the pandemic, and I loved it, it was ten times more personal, and real, we could see in our eyes that we were proud, happy and with our hearts so full of love.

Bom dia! O dia de Natal começa, e as nossas barrigas continuam cheias. Mas sabe acordar tão cedo.

De forma geral, nenhum de nós fez muita coisa neste dia, foi puro relaxamento, menos o almoço. Nós os quatro assistimos 3 filmes, tirámos algumas fotos, jogámos jogos de tabuleiro. E continuámos a falar, a rir, chorar, a divertir! Foram uns dois dias incríveis. Todos falámos em Natal atípico, mas sabem que mais? Eu estou um pouco grata, provavelmente eu nunca teria tido um Natal assim senão fosse a pandemia, e eu adorei. Foi dez vezes mais pessoal e real, notava-se nos olhos que estávamos orgulhosos, felizes e com os corações cheios de amor.

I'm gonna be honest, this post is not going to be that interesting for you. But it's very special for me. 

Yesterday it was my 20th birthday - I can't believe that I'm actually 20 years old, how the hell did the time pass so quick, my face still looks like a 16 year old teenager - however, because of the pandemic I couldn't really do much among my friends, just close family (and when I say that, I'm talking about my mom, sister and dad), but I consider myself lucky since I was able to actually go out to eat.

First thing I did after I woke up was do some yoga. Yoga is one of my favourite things, because it's a great exercise you can do in the morning (and I love both things). Then I went to eat breakfast, which was actually super simple, but I didn't really mind, since next I had a pretty big, and good, meal with my mom at home. And obviously I had cake, and I was able to bite the candle, which felt nice (I don't know if all of you do that at your homecountry).

Vou ser honesta convosco, este post não irá ser tão interessante para vocês. Mas irá ser especial para mim.

Ontem foi o meu 20º aniversário - não acredito que já tenho 20 anos, que raio se passou que o tempo passou tão rápido, a minha cara continua a parecer de um adolescente de 16 anos - no entanto, por causa da pandemia eu não pode estar junto dos meus amigos, apenas família chegada (e quando digo isso, estou a falar da minha mãe, irmã e pai), mas eu considero-me sortuda visto que pude sair para ir comer.

Primeira coisa que fiz quando acordei foi fazer um pouco de yoga. Yoga é uma das minhas coisas preferidas, uma vez que é um ótimo exercício para se fazer de manhã (e eu adoro ambas as coisas) Depois tomei o pequeno-almoço, que foi super simples, mas não me importei porque de seguida o almoço foi bastante grande e bom, com a minha mãe em casa. E obviamente tive bolo, e pude morder a vela, o que foi bom (não sei se vocês fazem isso no vosso país).

Later on, after the afternoon of presents (from my mom, dad and sister, oh, and actually my friends that went to my house a couple of days before to give me it), it was already dinner time. And on this meal time, me, my dad and sister went out to eat on the restaurant Coyo Taco (Príncipe Real), it was a very small, chilled place for you to have some little mexican foods, fingerfoods, and drink. Which is exactly what I enjoy.

Lastly, we took some photos on the walkway, near all those christmas decorations and lights, and went home. And we talked, laughed, smiled, I just felt "accomplishly" happy at the end of the day.

Mais tarde, depois da tarde de presentes (da minha mãe, pai e irmã, oh, e também de amigos porque eles chegaram a ir à minha casa para me entregá-los uns dias antes), chegou-se a altura do jantar. E nesta refeição, eu, a minha irmã e o meu pai fomos comer fora ao restaurante Coyo Taco (no Príncipe Real), que era um espaço pequeno, relaxado, bom para comer os petiscos mexicanos, e beber. O que é exatamente o que eu gosto.

Por último, tirámos ainda algumas fotos no passeio, ao pé das decorações e luzes de natal, e fomos para casa. E falamos, rimos, sorrimos, e eu senti-me "realizadamente" feliz no final do dia.

 Every year I set a goal of how many books I want to read in that year, even if it's not many... Since it's the end of the year, and I already read the quantity I wanted to read, I'm here to tell you my top 3 books of 2020. Before I show you, just a little reminder that my taste in books is very different from, maybe, most people, I really like classic literature and novels/romance, but I actually found a new passion this year!

Todos os anos, eu proponho-me um objetivo de quantos livros quero ler naquele ano, mesmo que não sejam muitos... Uma vez que estamos no fim deste ano, e eu já li a quantidade que queria, estou aqui para vos mostrar o meu top 3 de livros de 2020. Antes que vos diga, um pequeno lembrete: o meu gosto nos livros é um bocado diferente, talvez, da maioria das pessoas. Eu gosto bastante de literatura clássica e romance, mas por acaso encontrei uma nova paixão este ano!

In second place is Robison Crusoe by Daniel Defoe. I didn't write anything in my profile about this book just because at end I felt like I didn't have anything to say - not in a bad way. I just believe this book is self-explanatory, or you like it or not, since you have basically only description, it tells the story of someone living in a island alone, that's it. Nevertheless, for me was totally a hit, and I was grabbed since the first word, I gave it 4 stars (and that's the difference between this one and the previous one).

In first place is my new passion, poetry! For the gold medal we have Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur. I honestly don't have such beautiful words to describe the greatness of this book. I had so much pleasure while readind it, everyday I felt so inspired (since I read around 5 poems which day), so empowered. If you are a woman you will definitely feel her words, it's just pure honesty and a reality of the world we living, but it's drawn and written so magically. Therefore, I gave it 5 stars.

Em terceiro lugar temos Jane Eyre de Charlotte Brontë. No meu perfil do goodreads podem ver com mais detalhe a minha opinião, mas aqui deixo-vos uma pista. No geral dou-lhe 4 estrelas, tal como o que está em segundo lugar. No entanto, eu senti que demorei mais tempo a apegar-me ao livro. Quero eu dizer que apenas depois de 50 páginas é que comecei a sentir-me próxima da história.

Em segundo lugar está Robison Crusoe de Daniel Defoe. Eu não escrevi nada no meu perfil sobre o livro, porque no final de ler senti que não tinha nada para dizer - não no mau sentido. Apenas acredito que o livro é autoexplicativo, ou gostam ou não, uma vez que é basicamente um livro de descrição - conta a história de alguém que está preso numa ilha sozinho. Todavia, para fim foi um hit, e senti agarrada desde a primeira palavra, dei-lhe 4 estrelas (e aqui está a diferença entre este e o anterior).

Em primeiro lugar fica a minha nova paixão, poesia! Para a medalha de ouro temos Leite e Mel de Rupi Kaur. Eu honestamente não tenho tais palavras bonitas para descrever a grandeza deste livro. Tive tanto prazer enquanto o lia, todos os dias sentia-me inspirada (visto que lia todos os dias 5 poemas), e empoderada. Se são uma mulher irão com certeza sentir as suas palavras, é puramente honestidade e a realidade deste mundo em que vivemos, mas é desenhado e escrito de uma forma tão mágica. Sendo assim, dou-lhe 5 estrelas.

And we finally reach the end of this journey, well this season. In 2021 we'll have the season two of monthly outfits, which I'm very excited to start and show you. But before I begin rambling about what the next month awaits you, let's talk about the december look.

Not gonna lie, this one was probably the most challenging one, not only I had to make it warm, but also make it festive, because the christmas and new year is right around the corner. I'll warn you already that the colours and patterns are a bit all over the place. Since I didn't want to buy stuff, but reuse and think of new ways to use the clothes I already own, this outfit is a little more focus on the materials and shape of the pieces.

E finalmente chegamos ao fim desta jornada, bem desta temporada. Em 2021 vamos ter a temporada 2 dos outfits mensais, a qual estou muito entusiasmada para começar e vos mostrar. Mas antes que comece a divagar sobre o mês seguinte, vamos falar do visual de dezembro.

Não vou mentir, este foi provavelmente o mais desafiante, não tinha apenas de o tornar quente, mas também torná-lo festivo, porque o natal e o ano novo estão mesmo ao virar da esquina. Vou avisar-vos já que as cores e padrões estão um pouco por todo o lado. Sendo que eu não queria comprar roupas, mas sim reutilizar e encontrar novas formas de o fazer, este outfit é mais focado nos materiais das roupas e na forma delas.

With this iniciative I realised that I love starting my mornings with purpose and intention through affirmations for positivity - believe me affirmations is something I'm going to carry with me dearly. Because it was so important for me during this month I will leave here my favourite quotes of this journey.

I'm a morning person so I'm always looking for something that gives me energy and peace at the same time, so the rest of my day goes smoothly but also I'm being productive (without too much stress). And starting my day with a little bit of yoga it was really what was missing on my mornings, definitely I goal of mine is to start doing it every morning in 2021 - no matter how early in the morning (because it doesn't really work, for me, latter on the day). I honestly recommend everyone to, at least, try it for a few mornings and see how you feel through out your day, keeping this affirmation in your mind and maybe repeating it when you need it. 

Neste mês de novembro, resolvi propor-me para um desafio. Tive uma vontade de começar algo assim, não apenas porque sou interessada em exercício físico, mas também porque senti que a minha mente precisava de um momento. Então, visto que meditar não resulta, a melhor coisa a seguir é yoga. Com isto dito, comecei o meu "Morning Yoga Movement", um desafio da Yoga with Kassandra, em que pratico 10 minutos de yoga todos os dias.

Com esta iniciativa apercebi-me que adoro começar as minhas manhãs com um propósito e uma intenção através de afirmações de positividade - acreditem que afirmações são algo que vou levar comigo bem junto. Por ter sido tão importante para mim durante este mês, deixo aqui algumas das minhas citações preferidas desta jornada.

Eu sou uma pessoa de acordar cedo, então estou sempre à procura de algo que me dê energia e paz ao mesmo tempo, para que o resto do meu dia corra bem, mas também que eu seja produtiva (sem ter stress). E começar o meu dia com um pouco de yoga, era mesmo o que faltava nas minhas manhãs, definitivamente um objetivo para o ano de 2021, fazer todos os dia de manhã - não importa quão cedo tenho de me levantar (porque não resulta para mim, se for mais tarde no dia). Honestamente, eu recomendo a todos para, ao menos, tentarem algumas manhãs e verem como se sentem durante o resto do dia, mantendo a afirmação do dia na mente e talvez repetindo-a quando precisam.

 Since we are already half way of november and that means exams and tests week(s), I thought that would be a great thing to share with you the (k-pop) songs I listen to while studying, the playlist I like to call 3A.M. Songs, because let's be honest, I only have time to study at night, so that period tend to extend to late hours.

Uma vez que já estamos a meio de novembro e isso quer dizer que estamos na altura de exames e testes, pensei que seria uma coisa boa partilhar convosco algumas músicas (de k-pop) que eu ouço enquanto estudo, a playlist que eu gosto de chamar 3A.M. Songs (músicas das três da manhã), porque, vamos ser honestos, eu só tenho tempo para estudar à noite, e esse período tende a estender-se até horas tardias.

Todas as músicas que vou partilhar estão numa playlist do spotify minha, mas podem encontrá-las individualmente e no youtube. As músicas são também todas baladas calmas, quase todas, e têm uma melodia relaxante e nostálgica.

 Before WOODZ releases is new mini album, which I'm so excited to listen to, I here to show another makeup inspired in k-pop artists, this time I got inspiration by the live clip of Accident from WOODZ.

I, absolutely, love this song, it's definitely in my top 3 of best songs of the year, so I just couldn't let her pass through without at least a mention. I also thought that the colours used in the live clip, red and blue, would go really well in this time of year, plus it takes me out of my comfort zone since it's not colours that I use normally.

Antes que o WOODZ lance o seu novo mini álbum, o qual estou muito ansiosa por ouvir, estou aqui para vos mostrar outra maquilhagem inspirada em artistas coreanos, desta vez tirei inspiração do live clip da música "Accident" do WOODZ.

Eu, absolutamente, adoro esta música, está definitivamente no meu top 3 de melhores músicas do ano, por isso eu não podia deixá-la passar sem mencioná-la uma vez. Também pensei que seria bom utilizar as cores do live clip, vermelho e azul, porque ficam bem nesta época do ano, e mais tira-me da minha zona de conforto uma vez que que são cores que não uso normalmente.
