It probably will become a tradition of mine to comment on the looks of the red carpet on the Oscars. That because not only I love fashion, but I also stay up all night to watch the ceremony live - I even bet on the winners. I'm actually writing this while the ceremony is playing so, I'm sorry for any inaccuracy. I won't comment everything, I'm only choosing the ones that I like the most or were a surprise - no more than 10.

This year, I feel like the theme stayed a bit of the same as last year. A lot of red, obviously and pink. Suprisingly, there was not much sparkle, at least, as much as I wanted. But there was more black than I thought, specially because I really don't think it's a great colour for the Oscars.

Provavelmente vai se tornar uma tradição minha comentar sobre os looks da passadeira vermelha dos Óscares. Isso porque não só amo moda, mas também porque fico acordada a noite toda para assistir à cerimónia ao vivo - até aposto nos vencedores. Na verdade, estou a escrever isto enquanto a cerimónia está a acontecer, então, desculpem por qualquer imprecisão. Não vou comentar tudo, só estou mesmo a  escolher os que mais gosto ou os que foram uma surpresa - não mais que 10.

Este ano, eu sinto que o tema permaneceu um pouco o mesmo do ano passado. Muito vermelho, obviamente, e rosa. Surpreendentemente, não havia muito brilho, pelo menos, tanto quanto eu queria. Mas tinha mais preto do que eu imaginava, porque eu realmente não acho que seja uma boa cor para os Óscares.

The lady in red. Among the other ones, what made her special for me was the pants choice plus the extravagant unattached tail. I feel like the colour suits her skin tone really well and even the cut of the top complements her bust. The tail is the surprise element that elevates the look.

This is like three in one, but honestly, I believe I like it more because the three of them complemented each other - them as one is pretty. Specially the center one, the dress is very simple but not only looks good one her, but also it's modest with an hint of sexiness.

I know I said that black is not my favourite colour for this occasion, but once in awhile I get surprised. This tule dress is simply fantastic. To start the bottom puff is magnificient; however the real star is the top: the bustier itself is beautiful, wrapped in tule making it a one shoulder is just incredible.

Eu sei que disse que preto não é a minha cor favorita para esta ocasião, mas de vez em quando surpreendem-me. Este vestido de tule é simplesmente fantástico. Para iniciar o puff na saia é magnífico; no entanto, a verdadeira estrela é a parte de cima: o bustiê em si é lindo, envolto em tule tornando-o num ombro só é simplesmente incrível.

The first man in my list and that I applaud for not wearing the typical black suit. The androgenous fit with a baby blue tone is so original and great for his aura. I love that the suit is fitted, but he still paired it with chunky boots and various rings.

O primeiro homem da minha lista e que eu aplaudo por não usar o típico fato preto. O visual andrógeno com um tom azul bebê é tão original e ótimo para a aura que transmite. Eu amo que o fato é ajustado, mas mesmo assim ele combinou-o com botas grossas e vários anéis.

It coudn't miss some pink. But this approach is different which I appreciate. The lingerie style, the lace, the tule at the bottom, it's a combination that I wouldn't think it could work, but at least in her it totally does. Makes her so elegant, but also provocative.

Não podia faltar um pouco de rosa. Mas esta abordagem é diferente, o que eu aprecio. O estilo lingerie, a renda, o tule na parte de baixo, é uma combinação que eu não acharia que poderia funcionar, mas pelo menos nela funciona totalmente. Torna-a tão elegante, mas também provocativa.

One of the first ones that I saw and from that moment on I knew that it would be in my favourites. I love the edgy side of suits. The sparkle of the jacket paired with classic/normal pants is just great. Plus, I like the option of not button the blazer, it gives another dimension to the look.

No doubt the prettiest one. She looks gorgeous. The dress itself is surreal: the sparkles, the combination of lilac and rose gold, the way that it's degradê and changes colour in her waist to accentuate it even more, brilliant. The dress in combination with her makeup and ginger hair it was an amazing idea.

Sem dúvida a mais bonita. Ela está mesmo linda. O vestido em si é surreal: os brilhos, a combinação de lilás e de rosa-dourado, o modo como é degradê e muda de cor na cintura dela para acentuar ainda mais - brilhante. O vestido em combinação com a maquilhagem e o cabelo ruivo foi uma ideia incrível. 

Two things have been big part of my days lately. My daily workout and, right now, Pentagon, weird, I know. But if you are a fan of them as well you know that Hongseok likes to workout a lot too. With that being said I decided to try out is abs routine video and see if some magic happens.

Duas coisas têm feito grande parte dos meus dias ultimamente. O meu treino diário e, agora, os Pentagon, estranho, eu sei. Mas se vocês também são fãs deles, sabem que o Hongseok também gosta muito de fazer exercício. Com isto dito, decidi experimentar o vídeo da rotina de abdominais dele e ver se alguma mágica acontece.

Day 1: Honestly, a lot harder than I thought, specially if I want to keep up with him, the video. When I first watched I thought it wasn't that hard, mainly because I've been working out for the past three years, so I can say I'm pretty good. However, this was still challenging and actually I feel that it's effective.

Day 2: As well as yesterday, I did the workout in the morning so it may influence my opinion on difficultness, however, today, the exercise that it was really hard for me was the leg raises. The rest are pretty basic moves that I had no problem doing.

Day 3: Today, I did the ten minute workout after my 50 minute workout so I definitely felt it challenging me more, but on the other hand I was already warmed up so I did it much quicker and smoother. I even did more reps on the plank twist move - on the second set I did 40.

Day 4: I try to do it always in the morning. I agree that it's a nice exercise to get you started on the day, but again I did it after my 1 hour run, so my legs were crying. But I do feel that the abs exercise is pretty easy, the only move that always gets me is the leg raises. Today, I even added one move, the bird dog, I felt that it would upgrade the rotine.

Day 5: After my morning yoga, I decided to do it. And let me tell you, I definitely felt that I wasn't warmed up enough. It was super hard, my legs couldn't get that straight. I also tried to go slower so I could focus more on my posture, to make sure it's the correct one, and that made it more difficult.

Day 6: I did exactly the same as yesterday, the only difference was that I did it outside, with the sun shinning on my face. And I don't know if it was that, but I had a lot more fun than yesterday and it felt easier. I may have taken longer breaks, not sure.

Day 7: After a week, I can't really say the results are suprising. Mind me that I didn't do any food restrictions, but I did do my normal 45min workout everyday. Today, I was bit tired of my run, but the workout felt easy, even the leg raises, which makes me happy though.

Dia 1: Honestamente, muito mais difícil do que eu pensava, especialmente se eu quiser acompanhá-lo, o vídeo. Quando assisti pela primeira vez, pensei que não era tão difícil, principalmente porque eu tenho feito exercício nos últimos três anos, então posso dizer que estou em forma. No entanto, foi desafiador e, na verdade, sinto que é eficaz.

Dia 2: Assim como ontem, fiz o treino de manhã, o que pode influenciar a minha opinião sobre a dificuldade, porém, hoje, o movimento que foi muito difícil para mim foi o leg raises. O resto são movimentos bem básicos, que eu não tive nenhum problema em fazer.

Dia 3: Hoje fiz o treino de dez minutos depois do meu treino de 50 minutos, então definitivamente senti que me desafiou mais, mas por outro lado eu já estava aquecida, então fiz muito mais rápido e sem obstáculos. Até fiz mais repetições no movimento plank twist - no segundo set fiz 40.

Dia 4: Eu tento fazer sempre de manhã. Concordo que é um bom exercício para começar o dia, mas novamente fiz depois da minha corrida de 1 hora, então as minhas pernas estavam muito cansadas. Mas sinto que o exercício abdominal é fácil. O único movimento que me cansa sempre é a elevação de pernas. Hoje até adicionei um movimento, o bird-dog - senti que melhoraria a rotina.

Dia 5: Depois do meu yoga matinal, decidi fazê-lo. E deixe-me dizer-vos, eu definitivamente senti que não estava aquecida o suficiente. Foi super difícil, as minhas pernas não ficavam retas. Também tentei ir mais devagar para poder me concentrar mais na postura, para ter a certeza de que é a correta, e isso dificultou.

Dia 6: Fiz exatamente o mesmo de ontem, a única diferença foi que fiz ao ar livre, com o sol a brilhar no meu rosto. E não sei se foi isso, mas diverti-me muito mais do que ontem e foi mais fácil. Posso ter feito pausas mais longas, não tenho certeza.

Dia 7: Depois de uma semana, não posso dizer que os resultados são surpreendentes. Lembrem-se de que não fiz nenhuma restrição alimentar, mas fiz o meu treino normal de 45 minutos todos os dias. Hoje estava um pouco cansada da corrida, mas o treino foi fácil, até o leg raises, o que me deixa feliz. 

Day 8: Well, actually, when I woke up, with an empty stomach, I did see changes, specially on my waist. Very happy. On another note, and that's my fault, I did the exercise in the peak of the sun, so it was pretty tiring. But again it was mostly the leg raises.

Day 9: I actually didn't do the workout because it was already my abs day, so I felt like I already had done it. And my abs did get really sore.

Day 10: To be fair, after a butt workout, doing some abs exercises it feels pretty good. I was a bit tired, not gonna lie, but it was fairly easy. I'm definitely getting better at leg raises. Plus, I do sometimes do more reps of each move.

Day 11: I personally like to do this 10 minutes workout after my run, it feels complete, and I end up feeling pretty good about myself. But doing in the morning, I can for sure feel that I'm still a bit rusty.

Day 12: I rested quite a lot between set because I was actually watching the news while doing it. So because of that, it felt pretty easy, and I recommend doing it while watching something. It's pretty doable. 

Day 13: Honestly, the best day ever. Like, it was so easy. I did it again after my workout - it was leg day - and I didn't had any trouble doing it, so I definitely feel like my abs are getting stronger. However, I don't see much definition.

Day 14: I have to say that it was really easy to do it today. I say that because I barely needed the rest moment. I honestly just kept going and I did the workout quicker than 10 minutes.

Dia 8:  Bem, na verdade, quando acordei, com o estômago vazio, vi mudanças, principalmente na cintura. Muito feliz. Por outro lado, e a culpa é minha, fiz o exercício no pico do sol, então foi bastante cansativo. Mas, novamente, foi principalmente o levantamento de pernas.

Dia 9: Honestamente, não fiz o treino porque já era o meu dia de abdominais, então senti que já tinha feito isso. E meu abdômen estava muito dorido.

Dia 10: Para ser justa, depois de um treino de rabo, fazer alguns exercícios de abdominais é muito bom. Eu estava um pouco cansada, não vou mentir, mas foi bastante fácil. Definitivamente, sinto que estou a ficar melhor nos leg raises. Além disso, às vezes faço mais repetições de cada movimento.

Dia 11: Eu pessoalmente gosto de fazer o treino de 10 minutos depois da minha corrida, parece completo e acabo por me sentir muito bem comigo mesma. Mas, fazendo de manhã, posso com certeza sentir que ainda estou um pouco enferrujada.

Dia 12: Descansei bastante entre os sets, porque estava a ver as notícias enquanto fazia o treino. Então, por causa disso, foi muito fácil, e eu recomendo fazer isso enquanto vês algo. É bastante fazível.

Dia 13: Honestamente, o melhor dia de todos. Foi muito fácil. Fiz, de novo, depois do treino - era dia de pernas - e não tive nenhum problema em fazê-lo. Sinto que o meu abdômen está a ficar mais forte. No entanto, não vejo muita definição.

Dia 14: Devo dizer que foi muito fácil fazer isto hoje. Digo isto porque mal precisei do momento de descanso. Eu não parei e fiz o treino mais rápido que 10 minutos. 

For my overall thoughts I have to say that, if you are expecting to have really good results with this, don't. Yes, your abs will get stronger and you will see that which time is easier to do it, I can even go further and say that you my notice some small changes, for example I can see my waist more snatched; however, 10 minutes of this it's not enough for a six pack.

What this workout is great for is to start the morning right, to get you pumped for the rest of the day and, in case you don't have more time, to be a little bit active. This 10 minute workout is more for a peaceful mind to be honest. I would recommend though to change the moves from time to time so you don't get bored.

Para meus pensamentos gerais, devo dizer que, se esperam ter resultados realmente bons com isto, não esperem. Sim, o abdômen vai ficar mais forte e vão ver que em cada vez é mais fácil de fazer, posso até ir mais longe e dizer que irão notar algumas pequenas mudanças, por exemplo posso ver a minha cintura mais definida; no entanto, 10 minutos não é suficiente para um six pack.

O que este treino é ótimo para é para começar bem a manhã, para animar para resto do dia e, caso não tenham mais tempo, para serem um pouco ativos. Este treino de 10 minutos é mais para relaxar a mente, para ser honesta. Eu recomendaria, no entanto, mudar os movimentos de tempos em tempos para que não fiquem entediados.

 It's definitely have been a travel through the past, and let me tell you it's been an interesting one.

For the years 1930s, the fashion keeps being very similar to the past 2 decades. The "stand-out" points of the looks are the enfasis on the shoulders - with ruffles on the sleeves or balloon sleeves - and the belted waists. The length of the dresses or the skirts are ankle length.

Tem sido, definitivamente, uma viagem pelo passado e deixem-me dizer-vos que tem sido interessante.

Para os anos 1930, a moda continua a ser muito semelhante às últimas duas décadas. Os pontos "destaque" dos visuais são o enfâse nos ombros - com  folhos nas mangas ou mangas balão - e as cinturas com cinto. O comprimento dos vestidos ou das saias são até o tornozelo. 

I'm not gonna lie, it does feel that the outfits repeat themselves and I believe it's because I use darker colours, but from my research they are not very extravagant on the colour. I'm also going to say that this one was the most difficult for that reason - making it different.

Putting that aside, I came up, with the clothes that I had, with it pretty quickly. I knew what top I was going to wear, because of the balloons sleeves, and to match it I had to go with a black skirt. Even though it's supposed to be a bit modern, I did not go for the usual high waist skirt - tucked shirt. I felt that like this it would look more elegant and more up to date. For the shoes, I went definitely more old school.

Não vou mentir, parece que os visuais se repetem e acredito que seja porque uso cores mais escuras. Mas pela minha pesquisa, estas eras não são muito extravagantes na cor. Também admito que este foi o mais difícil por esse motivo - torná-lo diferente.

Pondo isso de lado, eu encontrei o outfit, com as roupas que eu tinha, bem rápido. Já sabia que camisa ia usar, por causa das mangas em balão, e para combinar tive que ir com uma saia preta. Mesmo que seja suposto ser um pouco moderno, eu não fui para a saia de cintura subida usual e camisa para dentro. Achei que assim ficaria mais elegante e mais fiel à década. Para os sapatos, eu fui definitivamente mais old school.

I really didn't think an ordinary run would mean so much to me, but the truth is that in turned out to be an experience and memory that I will hold on to very foundly.

Before I even knew that I decided to capture this moment since it was my first time and also because it might help someone that is going to one too. Disclaimer though, I not a nutritionist or a fitness trainer so I don't really know if what I'm doing is correct.

Eu não achava mesmo que uma simples corrida significaria tanto para mim, mas a verdade é que acabou por ser uma experiência e uma memória que vou guardar com muito carinho.

Antes mesmo de saber disso, decidi capturar esse momento já que era a minha primeira vez e também porque pode ajudar alguém que também esteja a pensar ir a uma corrida ou que já vai.
