It probably will become a tradition of mine to comment on the looks of the red carpet on the Oscars. That because not only I love fashion, but I also stay up all night to watch the ceremony live - I even bet on the winners. I'm actually writing this while the ceremony is playing so, I'm sorry for any inaccuracy. I won't comment everything, I'm only choosing the ones that I like the most or were a surprise - no more than 10.

This year, I feel like the theme stayed a bit of the same as last year. A lot of red, obviously and pink. Suprisingly, there was not much sparkle, at least, as much as I wanted. But there was more black than I thought, specially because I really don't think it's a great colour for the Oscars.

Provavelmente vai se tornar uma tradição minha comentar sobre os looks da passadeira vermelha dos Óscares. Isso porque não só amo moda, mas também porque fico acordada a noite toda para assistir à cerimónia ao vivo - até aposto nos vencedores. Na verdade, estou a escrever isto enquanto a cerimónia está a acontecer, então, desculpem por qualquer imprecisão. Não vou comentar tudo, só estou mesmo a  escolher os que mais gosto ou os que foram uma surpresa - não mais que 10.

Este ano, eu sinto que o tema permaneceu um pouco o mesmo do ano passado. Muito vermelho, obviamente, e rosa. Surpreendentemente, não havia muito brilho, pelo menos, tanto quanto eu queria. Mas tinha mais preto do que eu imaginava, porque eu realmente não acho que seja uma boa cor para os Óscares.

#7 - Ariana Debose in Valentino Haute Couture

The lady in red. Among the other ones, what made her special for me was the pants choice plus the extravagant unattached tail. I feel like the colour suits her skin tone really well and even the cut of the top complements her bust. The tail is the surprise element that elevates the look.

A dama do vermelho. Entre as outras, o que a tornou especial para mim foi a escolha de calças mais a extravagante cauda solta. Acho que a cor combina muito bem com o tom de pele dela e até o corte do top complementa o busto. A cauda é o elemento surpresa que eleva o visual.

#6 - Haim in Louis Vuitton

This is like three in one, but honestly, I believe I like it more because the three of them complemented each other - them as one is pretty. Specially the center one, the dress is very simple but not only looks good one her, but also it's modest with an hint of sexiness.

Isto é tipo três em um, mas honestamente, eu acredito que gosto mais porque as três complementavam-se - elas como um é bonito. Especialmente a do meio, o vestido é muito simples, mas não só fica bem nela, mas também é modesto com um toque de sensualidade. 

#5 - Sofia Carson in Giambattista Valli

I know I said that black is not my favourite colour for this occasion, but once in awhile I get surprised. This tule dress is simply fantastic. To start the bottom puff is magnificient; however the real star is the top: the bustier itself is beautiful, wrapped in tule making it a one shoulder is just incredible.

Eu sei que disse que preto não é a minha cor favorita para esta ocasião, mas de vez em quando surpreendem-me. Este vestido de tule é simplesmente fantástico. Para iniciar o puff na saia é magnífico; no entanto, a verdadeira estrela é a parte de cima: o bustiê em si é lindo, envolto em tule tornando-o num ombro só é simplesmente incrível. 

#4 - Kodi Smit-McPhee in Bottega Veneta & jewlery Cartier

The first man in my list and that I applaud for not wearing the typical black suit. The androgenous fit with a baby blue tone is so original and great for his aura. I love that the suit is fitted, but he still paired it with chunky boots and various rings.

O primeiro homem da minha lista e que eu aplaudo por não usar o típico fato preto. O visual andrógeno com um tom azul bebê é tão original e ótimo para a aura que transmite. Eu amo que o fato é ajustado, mas mesmo assim ele combinou-o com botas grossas e vários anéis.

#3 - Lily James in Versace

It coudn't miss some pink. But this approach is different which I appreciate. The lingerie style, the lace, the tule at the bottom, it's a combination that I wouldn't think it could work, but at least in her it totally does. Makes her so elegant, but also provocative.

Não podia faltar um pouco de rosa. Mas esta abordagem é diferente, o que eu aprecio. O estilo lingerie, a renda, o tule na parte de baixo, é uma combinação que eu não acharia que poderia funcionar, mas pelo menos nela funciona totalmente. Torna-a tão elegante, mas também provocativa. 

#2 - Timothée Chalamet in Louis Vuitton

One of the first ones that I saw and from that moment on I knew that it would be in my favourites. I love the edgy side of suits. The sparkle of the jacket paired with classic/normal pants is just great. Plus, I like the option of not button the blazer, it gives another dimension to the look.

Um dos primeiros que eu vi e que a partir desse momento soube logo que estaria nos meus favoritos. Eu amo o lado mais arrojado dos fatos. O brilho do casaco combinado com as calças clássicas/normais é ótimo. Além disso, gosto da opção de não abotoar o blazer, dá outra dimensão ao look.

No doubt the prettiest one. She looks gorgeous. The dress itself is surreal: the sparkles, the combination of lilac and rose gold, the way that it's degradê and changes colour in her waist to accentuate it even more, brilliant. The dress in combination with her makeup and ginger hair it was an amazing idea.

Sem dúvida a mais bonita. Ela está mesmo linda. O vestido em si é surreal: os brilhos, a combinação de lilás e de rosa-dourado, o modo como é degradê e muda de cor na cintura dela para acentuar ainda mais - brilhante. O vestido em combinação com a maquilhagem e o cabelo ruivo foi uma ideia incrível.
