Yesterday, as you probably know, it was the award show the Oscars, and since I can't even the remember what was the day I last did something like this (which, btw, I think it was Teen Choice Awards), I decided to do again, especially because it wasn't online, so I was very excited.

The Oscars Red Carpet ceremony was a bit disappointing to be honest. A lot of people went very simple, but a very uninteresting simple. If you watch it, you could tell that mostly everyone was wearing black, then some reds and golds, not much fun colours going on, so I didn't appreciate much - but I definitely have my favourites, including two men.

Ontem, como devem saber, foram os Óscares, e uma vez que já não sei quando foi a última vez que fiz algo deste género (o que acho que foi os Teen Choice Awards), decidi fazer outra vez, especialmente porque não foi online, e isso deixou me entusiasmada.

A passadeira vermelha dos Óscares foi um pouco desapontante, sinceramente. Tanta gente foi simples, mas um simples desinteressante. Se estiveram atentos, a maioria das pessoas foi de preto, algumas de vermelho e outras de dourado, não havia cores mais vibrantes, por isso não gostei muito - mas definitivamente tenho os meus favoritos, incluindo dois homens.

#1 H.E.R in Dundas & Jewelry Chopard

All about her style was magnificent, I really like how put together she was - the hair, jewelry even the sunglasses, makeup, I like the hood. And don't even get me started on that detail and colour, so delicate and stunning. Not to forget that she went for pants.

Tudo do estilo dela é magnífico, eu gosto bastante de como tudo se mistura - o cabelo, os acessórios até os óculos de sol, maquilhagem, gosto do capuz. E nem me deixem começar nos detalhes e a cor, tão delicado e esplêndido. Não esquecendo que ela escolheu calças.

#2 Carey Mulligan in Valentino Haute Couture

She was one of the first that I saw and loved it, especially when I noticed that it wasn't a dress but a two piece set. Even though it was gold, I really like how it blended perfectly with her skin tone, and the structure of the skirt was so well thought and ball-gowny. Perfect.

Ela foi uma das primeiras que eu vi e apaixonei-me, especialmente quando reparei que não era um vestido, mas sim um conjunto de duas peças. Mesmo sendo dourado, gostei muito da forma como a cor da pele não contrastava muito com a roupa, e a estrutura da saia foi tão bem pensada. Perfeito.

#3 Regina King in Louis Vuitton

Just a reminder that Regina King has 50 years and her waist is more snatched than mine. When I saw it I was mesmerized, it look so estravagant on her, it work wonders in her body - the sleeves, the cleavage, the way it molds her body. She couldn't have decided a more "made for her" dress.

Apenas um lembrete de que a Regina King tem 50 anos e a cintura dela é mais estreita do que a minha. Quando a vi eu fiquei hipnotizada, tão extravagante mas funciona tão bem no corpo dela - as mangas, o decote, a forma como molda o corpo. Ela não podia ter decidido um vestido mais para ela.

#4 Amanda Seyfried in Armani Privé

Amanda Seyfried always looks stunning, but this 90's hair with the tule red dress really worked for me. The way that hugs her hips but then opens really was a great idea. And the top part was very original, I have never seen a cleavage and "heart" shape neck that goes like this. Truly original and beautiful.

A Amanda Seyfried está sempre linda, mas o cabelo a anos 90 e o vestido de tule funcionou muito bem. A forma como abraça as ancas, mas depois abre foi uma ideia excelente. E a parte de cima é tão original, nunca vi um decote e um corte em "coração" que abrisse assim. Realmente original e bonito.

#5 Lakeith Stanfield in Saint Laurent

It's the only male that I thought that went out of the norm with his style. Not only is a jumpsuit, but it's a very elegant, old school one: with the shirt underneath and the bell bottoms. It really worked for me. It was stylish and different, no tux. You know, it kind of represent is movie.

É o único masculino que eu pensei que saiu fora da norma. Não é apenas um macacão, como é muito elegante, assim old school: com uma camisa por baixo e as calças à boca de sino. Funcionou muito bem nele. Era estiloso e diferente, não smoking. Representa bem a época do filme dele.

#6 Alan S. Kim in Thom Browne

I can't deny that I was also attracted to his cuteness, but let's be real here, he was also very different in the way they styled his tux - not only it is shorts, but he has high knee socks that are different from each other, which gives some sort of tension in his look, in a good way.

Não posso mentir que fui um pouco atraída pela fofura, mas vamos ser reais, ele estava diferente na forma como mudou o típico smoking - tinha calções, e ainda escolheram meias até aos joelhos que até eram diferentes, e por isso criavam uma certa tensão, no bom sentido.

#7 Zendaya in Valentino Haute Couture & Jewelry Bulgari

She's in my list in a sort of honorable mention because she was one of the few that actually risked it and went with a bright neon yellow dress, which I don't dislike - I like the bottom, but I'm still unsure of the top part (the circle opening and the bra part, don't know if it suits her). However, I'm obsessed with the jewelry, it's so gorgeous, especially combine with her natural makeup and hair.

Ela está na minha lista como uma menção honrosa, porque ela foi das poucas que arriscou e foi com uma amarelo vibrante quase neon, que eu não desgosto - eu gosto da parte de baixo, mas ainda estou de pé atrás na parte de cima (a abertura e a parte do soutien, não sei se lhe fica bem). No entanto, estou obcecada com os acessórios, são deslumbrantes, especialmente ao combinar com a maquilhagem e cabelo natural dela.
