If you follow me here or on instagram you probably know what is this time of the year: it's Horror Film Festival time! Motel X happens every year around this september weeks and of course, not only because of my sister, I had to go. It started to become a tradition and I actually have an eager to go, it's so fun and a different thing to be waiting for.

Obviously, I'm a fashion/ lifestyle blog so I'm mostly gonna show you what I wore there - I went 3 days - so I'm not writting a review on the movies I watched nor I am talking in detail about the festival. However, if you want me to do that please let me know.

~~

DAY 1 - THE GREEN KNIGHT

Black top - Bershka (similar here) | White top - Primark (similar here) | Jeans - Pull&Bear (similar here) | Shoes - Stradivarius (similar here) | Necklace - Local Store | Tote bag - Cris.Pim (here)

I went very simple for the first day, with monochromatic tones and basic fitting. However I tried to use the materials to make it more interesting, so my black top is velvet and has some lace while the white top is ribbed.

If you are interested in my opinion on the movie, well, I had very very high expections, but unfornately it didn't meet them. The movie had a nice story and cinematography but it didn't had high moments, it was very monotone so it felt very slow and boring...

~~

DAY 2 - THE AMUSEMENTE PARK + IN THE EARTH

T-shirt - Merchandise (similar here) | Denim dress - Bershka (similar here) | Belt - Stradivarius (similar here) | Shoes - Tommy Hilfigher | Tote bag - Etsy store StayHereWithSkz (here)

Honestly, I really like this one. I know you can't really see because the photos are dark, but this super colourful tie-dye t-shirt really gives off a nice fun, but kinda edgy look and I'm living for it. With the dress it has a more like sexy dark look.

About the movies, all round they were both good, I feel like, yes I would recommend both.

~~

DAY 3 - THE NIGHT HOUSE

Top - Tally Weijl (similar here) | Pants - Bershka (similar here) | Necklaces - Local Store and 7ème | Shirt - Vintage (similar here) | Shoes - Nike Air Max Thea Premium | Tote Bag - Motel X Merch (here)

For a horror festival this is not the most dark outfit, at all, but it has an artistic vibe, if I was very into indie films, which I do personally like. It's also more feminine and lighter because it has more creme colours. I also tried to give an historical vibe using a top similar to a corset.

The movie was surprisingly different from what I was expecting, but it was good and very clever, it had very innovative ways of shooting. If you like Invisible Man, it has a similar vibe.

~~

After 28 days, it was time to take the 2nd dose, the dreaded one. This time I took the vaccine early in the morning, at 8:50 but still on monday (september 6th). If you want to know how I react to the first one click here, also because I explain a bit about my lifestyle. Different from the other, this time I had a pretty busy week so maybe that had some influence.

Day 1 (vaccine day): The bigger sting was actually the moment of the vaccine, that hurt a bit, but after that, the next 30 minutes, I didn't feel a thing. Throught the day, I felt the same arm pain as the first dose, but more harsh symptoms, I didn't have none. Maybe it helped that I went to the book fair, I hang out with friends, so I kind of forgot about the pain.

Day 2: My arm almost doesn't hurt. Compared to the first dose it hurts a lot less, I can put my arm up and move it around really well. Yes, it hurts a bit but my soreness from the workout is more painful than the vaccine. In terms of symptoms, I didn't feel anything out of the ordinary but again, it's more difficult to wake up. During the day I'm not that sleepy, it's more when trying to wake up and get up.

Day 3: Well, it says a lot when I tell you that I already workout today and it was an arm focused one. I slept very nicely and my body woke up pretty early with no sleepiness. Plus all that, I still didn't have any symptoms, maybe a little headache in the morning that stayed for 5 minutes, or any pain in my arm - I do feel something when I move it but nothing deterrent. Oh, and it was my third day in a row that I went out, felt completely fine, all days.

Day 4: The last I'm going to report since I don't feel nothing at all anymore. No symptoms, no pain in the arm, no feeling of sleepiness. Today I did a cardio workout with weights and I didn't felt tired nor did my arm hurt nor did even felt the slightest difficulty with my arm. I can say easily that my 2nd dose was better than the first one.

~~

Dia 2: O meu braço mal me dói.

I have done this more than a couple times and I honestly really like to do it, specially when the final result meets my expectations. Since Stray Kids are that only group that I stan with all my heart, I need to continue doing these inspired looks.

At first I was only going to do from the tittle track, since it's the song they are promoting, mainly. However, they also do some stages on another song, a b-side, in this case The View, and I was so inspired by their pink makeup and outfit, and I thought that was a huge duality, that I thought "why not do both?".

However, turns out, I didn't like the Thunderous makeup - I leave it here, but I don't appreciate it at all - so, just enjoy "the view" of my pinkish pastel look.

~~

Vest top - Stradivarius (same vibe here) | Shorts - Vintage Levi's (similar here) | Belt - Vintage (similar here) | Socks - Primark | Shoes - Tommy Hilfigher | Necklace - 7ème

I honestly like the look so much, it's so cute and carefree - it just screams spring and flowers. Unfornately, when I went to take the photos it was a bit gloomy, even moments later it started to rain a little, not much, but I believe the photos turned out pretty and with the similar sensation, taking the fact that I'm in the city. The makeup you can't really see too well, but it just a very pink eye and rosey cheeks. Please go listen to the song. Actually go listen to the whole NOEASY album, it's incredibly good.

Now I leave here my disasttrous makeup for Thunderous.

~~

Agora, deixo aqui a minha maquilhagem Thunderous desastrosa.

What I tried to do was a mix of blues because of the thunder and red to simbolize the goblin and the red moon. However, I thought that was too simple and not cool so I tried to had bright blue eyeliner in the shape of thunder, yes that it's supposed to be thunder, but it just didn't workout... I even left some unpainted area because it's almost white where it thunders... Oh well.

Now before I finish, let me say congratulations to Stray Kids for the 4 wins this week, specially Music Bank, first time win second time nominee, and freaking Inkigayo, first time nominees and first win. So proud of them and the STAYs. Both parties deserve it (not me congratulating myself since I'm a stay, oh).

~~

Every year, this moment happens and you are probably gonna see a side of me that I don't show regularly which is my ultimate kpop mode. And this other side of my personality comes up only, or mostly, with a Stray Kids comeback. And you guess it, it's their comeback!

They just came out with a new music video Thunderous and with a new *awesome* album NOEASY. I tried to think of what to do to honor this part of me, because I need to show it too, and decided to give you my first impressions of the album and my first reactions, with my top 5 songs, for now.

~~

E adivinharam, é altura do comeback deles!

Eles lançaram um novo videoclipe Thunderous e um novo *incrível* álbum NOEASY. Eu tentei pensar nalguma coisa que honrasse esta parte de mim, porque eu preciso de mostrá-lo e decidi então expor as minhas primeiras impressões do álbum e as minhas primeiras reações, com o meu top 5 das músicas, por agora.

Overall, I really believe that Stray Kids outdone themselves, specially in terms of b-sides. I don't know if it is because they have more ballads so it feels new coming from them, but I feel they put more thought and you kind of can see a more mature side of them, which it appeals to their fans, including me, because we are growing up with them. Definitely recommend you give it a listen, if not all album, at least listen to my, for now, top 5 and then you decide if you want to listen the rest.

~~

TOP 5:

1º Red Lights

2º The View

3º SSICK

4º Sorry, I Love You

5º DOMINO

I was not planning to write about this, but I feel like the vaccine topic it's still something people feel the need to know more about, specially personal experiences, at least I felt that way - the need to know how other people reacted to it, what symptoms they had, if it hurts or not, etc... That's why I decided to talk about what I felt.

To start with I have to talk about a bit of my lifestyle. In general, I'm a pretty healthy person. I do do some food restrictons, for example I don't drink cow milk (only milk from nuts, like almond), I do not eat meat, I also try not to eat a lot of bread and gluten, as well as foods with lactose (I eat them but not in abundance), oh, and I don't drink sodas, but I do drink alcohol. Apart from that, and you probably already know, I exercise regularly, like 6 times per week.

Now, I took my vaccine 5 days ago. Mine was the Pfizer one. I feel it's necessary to tell you that because if you take a different one, you may feel different stuff - each vaccine is done differently. I took mine at 19:30/7:30 P.M.

Day 1 (vaccine day): When injecting it was not that painful, you feel a little pinch but is very tolerable. Afterwards, you do feel your arm a bit heavy and it's strange to move it, but again it's nothing super painful. Since your arm is going to be sore, make sure to choose the one you use less, mine was the left one. The rest of the day I felt very good, any symptoms rather than the arm pain.

Day 2: This day was the hardest one, but it was still very manageable. The previous night, I didn't have any problem sleeping, I know I sleep to my right side, but I even put my left arm above my head and I still slept foundly. However, my arm hurt a lot more than the first day, I couldn't fully straight my arm up and it was difficult to change tops, but I did it nevertheless, you can still move it. Talking about symptoms, like nausea or headaches, nothing, I did not feel a thing.

Day 3: Ok, I barely felt something. I actually sometimes forgot that my arm was sore. I did feel like I had a harder time waking up, I was a bit sleepy, but through out the day I did not feel lazy or sluggish. Where the vaccine was put, I still felt a slight pain when I touch it or when I straight my arm up to max. The rest, again, no symptoms at all. I even went for a run and didn't feel a thing.

Day 4: The pain in my shoulder is pratically gone, the only thing I could see was a red mark where the vaccine was and that place is quite itchy. Also, I did arm's workout and I had no difficulties because of the vaccine.

Day 5: The pain is non-existent. I feel my arm exactly the same as I felt previous of the vaccine. Is all good now.

~~

Dia 5: A dor é inexistente.

Before I give you my insight on the product, I have a disclaimer to do: I don't know if this brand is cruelty-free. I tried to contact them through e-mail and instagram but they never answered. However, I read on a cosmetic website that this new brand recipes are vegan, so, it's to suspect that they do not test on animals, but no proofs. I bought it at Maquibeauty.

With that out of the way, let me introduce you to the brand, since, it's they are very new (so I don't have many information). Looking at their website, that is in korean so I can't read everything, you can have the general idea that they first worry is cleansing, a gentle, milder, raw product. To complement that, in the Yesstyle and Miin Cosmetics website, is also said that Juice to Cleanse is "a proponent of cold-pressed skin care, harnesses this juicing method to extract as much nutrients as possible from raw ingredients to produce a wide range of simple, fuss-free cleansers." Their formulas are naturally derived and 100% vegan. Being free of artificial colorants and fragrances, keeps irritations to a minimum, while cleansing the skin and also moisturising and illuminating it.

~~

Personally, I think it's one of the best makeup cleansers that I have use (I tried around 4 different ones, not counting micellar waters and makeup wipes). I also prefer cleansing oils rather than cleansing balms, so if you don't share the same opinion is not probably for you.

This cleansing oil is very liquid, almost water level so you don't need that much, it's easy to rinse off, however you need to be careful since it can spill or even run between your fingers. It's very gentle on the face, takes the makeup off very easily, you don't need to rub to hard, the only problem is if you use a lot in the eyes, it may sting a bit. The smell is also very pleasant and not too strong.

The oil itself can be turnt into a milky product if you mix with water, which I sometimes do if I'm only using to cleanse the face. Afterward, it leaves the face very smooth and a little glowy, and not oily at all. Nevertheless I still prefer to do the double cleansing method.

Overall, I really reccomend, it's not expensive for the quantity you receive, is very simple to use and leaves the skin super nice. I may say that I think you the product runs off short.

~~

Contudo eu continua a preferir fazer o método do double cleansing.

This post is not sponsored by any brand or thrid party. Every opinion is my own and I paid for the product with my own money.

It's so weird that it's already august, like there are four months left until the end of the year. That's crazy, only four more outfits!

This month clothes were a bit messy, as in it's a mixture between gold and brown. I wanted to do gold however it's quite difficult to find day-to-day pieces that are gold so I decided to use some light brown too, similar too gold but it's not metallic. The overall result it's pretty satisfactory actually, a bit more streetwear, not gonna lie, but I think it fits a bit of everyones taste.

~~

I have wore everything that I show you here before, but that's the point, I want to show you that clothes are about reusing, I don't buy specially for these occasions, I use clothes that I already have.

The combination of cargo pants and the flowy, shine top are very peculiar, not gonna lie, the thing is that it works for me - it gives the vibe of cool and chic. To make the outfit stand out even more, I put on some high heels and some gold jewelry (and makeup). It's quite "heavy" for this hot weather, but changing it to some shorts I think it's perfect, this colour is beautiful against the sun.

~~
