And it is that time of the year again, when I'm not posting anything because I'm just enjoying myself at summer music festivals. To be more exact, NOS Alive. I simply can't seem to miss it. I have to go! This year, was not as full as last year. It was a bit more relaxed, but it was again an awesome experience. 

Different from last year, I did not think about the outfits ahead of time. To be honest, both the looks were last minute ones. I only thought of them - outfit, hair, makeup - on the day. But considering that, I'm actually pretty happy of them. I think they were different from previous years, original and comfortable.

E é outra vez aquela época do ano, em que não ando a postar nada porque estou a aproveitar o momento nos festivais de música de verão. Para ser mais exata, o NOS Alive. Eu simplesmente não consigo faltar. Tenho de ir! Este ano, não foi tão preenchido como o ano passado. Foi mais relaxado, mas foi na mesma uma experiência incrível.

Ao contrário do ano passado, eu não pensei nos visuais com tempo. Honestamente, ambos os looks foram de último minuto. Pensados no próprio dia - roupa, cabelo, maquilhagem. Mas considerando isso, estou muito contente com o resultado. Diferenciam-se dos do ano passado, originais e confortáveis.

I do have to say that this year the temperature was not super hot. Which is good. Overall, there was always a little breeze hence the outfits. On this day, I basically wanted to see every artist, so I wanted to be comfortable, but at the same time stylish. I chose pants and sneakers, but went for a bikini top. The makeup was a bit more simple, with just a few pearls and the hair was on a low bun - it's just comfortable, effortless but sophisticated.

Tenho a dizer que este ano a temperatura não estava tão quente. O que é bom. No geral, teve sempre uma brisa, daí os outfits. Neste dia, eu basicamente queria ver todos os artistas, por isso queria estar confortável, mas simultaneamente com estilo. Optei por calças e ténis, mas uma parte de cima de biquíni. A maquilhagem foi simples, apenas com algumas pérolas e o cabelo estava preso num coque baixo - é confortável, fácil, mas sofisticado.

On the second day, I was more free from the crowd. Therefore, I decided to be a little more brave. The outfit itself was super comfortable, but the shoes were definitely a risk. With a more rock approach, I went for a bikini top underneath the mesh long sleeve with a necklace turned into a body chain, some workout shorts and the risky part the Doc. Martens. For the hair, I just put some hairclips to secure the bangs and the makeup a little more colourful - red and pink - with some pink gemstones.

No segundo dia, estive mais livre da multidão. Assim sendo, decidi ser um bocadinho mais corajosa. A roupa em si é super confortável, mas os sapatos foram sem dúvida um risco. Com uma abordagem mais rock, escolhi um top de biquíni debaixo de uma blusa transparência de manga comprida com um colar tornado numa corrente corporal, uns calções de desporto e a parte arriscada as Dr. Martens. Para o cabelo, pus só dois ganchos a segurar a franja e a maquilhagem mais colorida - vermelha e rosa - com pedras rosa.

 After a month since its release, I'm finally posting something about the last comeback from Stray Kids. Their latest tittle track "S-Class" was a use success, so even if late, I didn't want to let it past. To celebrate it, I decided to create an outfit based on the music video. To be fair I really feel like an S-Class wearing this combination of clothing.

Depois de um mês da sua estreia, estou finalmente a postar algo a ver com o último álbum dos Stray Kids. A sua música mais recente "S-Class" foi um tão grande sucesso, que mesmo atrasada, eu não quis deixar este momento passar. Para celebrar, decidi criar um visual baseado no videoclipe. Para ser sincera, eu senti-me mesmo uma S-Class a vestir esta combinação.

When I think of first class, I don't think of hiphop. My mind wanders to a sophisticated, elegance but edgy look. Therefore, it's exactly how they are dressed in the first clips. Taking inspiration from them, I went for some straight cut leather pants, instead of using a white button up shirt, I went for a silk baby pink shirt and on top of it, since I don't have a leather corset, I use a square neckline black top.

I definitely needed to had some gold jewlery for that expensive vibe and for the shoes I decided for some lilac boots. I know the colours don't exactly match the MV, but I change it up because they match the cover of the CD, limited edition.

Quando eu penso em primeira classe, eu não penso em hiphop. A minha mente vagueia para um look mais sofisticado, elegante e mesmo arrojado. Sendo assim, é exatamente a ideia que tiro dos primeiros clipes. Inspirando-me neles, escolhi umas calças de cabedal de corte reto, em vez de uma camisa branca, optei por uma rosa bebé de cetim e por cima, uma vez que não tenho um espartilho de cabedal, usei um top preto com um decote quadrado. 

Definitivamente precisava de acessórios dourados para dar um ar mais caro e para os sapatos decidi calçar umas botas lilás de salto. Eu sei que as cores não vão de acordo com o MV, mas mudei um bocado para combinarem com a capa do CD, edição limitada.

Thinking about it now, I have to admit that this year I haven't gone to a lot of restaurants. I've been eating out, but I'm usually in a hurry so I just go to fast food places. However, there are some places that I went to another times, that I haven't shared with you yet.

Pensando bem agora, tenho de admitir que este ano não tenho ido muito a restaurantes. Eu tenho comido fora, mas usualmente como tenho pressa eu vou a sítios de comida rápida. Contudo, existem alguns lugares que fui outras vezes, que ainda não partilhei com vocês.

The first one that I'm going to tell you about is one near of Marquês de Pombal, on a cross street. I've been there already a couple of times and I loved it. It's called Vegan Junkies. As the name suggests it is not healthy. It has hamburgers, milkshakes and junk food overall. Their pastel de nata milkshake is so good and it is vegan!

It's a small place, but that just makes it even more cozy and great to have drinks with friends.

O primeiro que vos quero falar sobre é um perto do Marquês de Pombal, numa transversal. Já fui lá duas vezes e adorei. Chama-se Vegan Junkies. Como o nome sugere, não é muito saudável. Tem hambúrgueres, batidos e comida rápida no geral. O batido de pastel de nata é tão bom e é vegan!

É um lugar pequeno, mas torna tudo mais acolhedor e ótimo para tomar umas bebidas com amigos.

The second place that I believe you are going to like is The Green Affair. I went there on my birthday to have dinner with my dad. It's plant-based and my dad didn't loved it that much. But me and my sister ate a Pesto Pasta and from then on became a fan. 

The franchise exists in three points of the city: Parque das Nações, Saldanha and Chiado. I ate at Parque das Nações and the decoration is absolutely beautiful.

O segundo restaurante que eu acredito que vão gostar é o The Green Affair. Fui lá nos meus anos para jantar com o meu pai. É à base de plantas, o que o meu pai não adorou assim muito. Mas eu e a minha irmã ficámos fãs da Massa com Pesto.

O franchise está presente em três pontos da cidade: Parque das Nações, Saldanha e Chiado. Comi no Parque das Nações e a decoração era absolutamente linda.

Third and last place (for now), is one of my mom's favourite restaurants: Honest Greens. She is a very believer of plant-based diet, so she loved this one, plus the food is really good. So delicious that even my carnivores friends liked it. It's not all plant-based, there is chicken, for example. The Roasted Cauliflower is incredible.

Again the interior is so nice and cozy. As well as the previous one, you can find it at various points in the capital: Parque das Nações, Avenida da Liberdade, Chiado, Amoreiras and Cais do Sodré.

Terceiro e último (por agora), é um dos favoritos da minha mãe: Honest Greens. Ela acredita piamente num regime à base de plantas, por isso adorou este. Para mais a comida é realmente boa. Tão bom que até os meus amigos carnívoros gostaram. Nem todo o menu é à base de plantas, existem pratos com frango, por exemplo. A couve-flor tostada é incrível.

Outra vez, o interior é muito aconchegante e confortável. Tal como o anterior, podem encontrar em diversos pontos da cidade: Parque das Nações, Avenida da Liberdade, Chiado, Amoreiras e Cais do Sodré.

For the past few months, something I have been struggling with is dandruff and flaky scalf. Which is really odd for me since I don't have oily nor super dry hair. And on top of that I have curly hair, which makes it difficult to just use whatever products.

I'm super careful with the products I use on my hair, since I do follow the curly hair method. So no sulfates, parabens and silicones. There is not a lot out there, believe me. And it becomes even more difficult to find anti-dandruff products since most of them use sulfates to really cleanse the scalp.

And here it enters the new hair routine I've been trying. After long hours researching about ingredients and brands and the products themselves, I found some that I think they might work. Note that I'm still experimenting with them so I don't know for certain if they work.

Nos últimos meses, algum que tenho vindo a lutar contra é caspa e couro cabeludo escamoso. O que é estranho para mim, visto que não tenho cabelo oleoso nem muito seco. E, para tornar tudo mais difícil tenho cabelo encaracolado, o que faz com que não queira utilizar qualquer produto.

Sou muito cuidadosa com os ingredientes que uso no meu cabelo, uma vez que sigo o método curly. Por isso, nada de sulfatos, parabenos e silicones. Não há muito sem isso por ai. E fica ainda mais complicado quando quero que sejam anticaspa, sendo que todos utilizam, pelo menos, sulfatos.

E aqui entra a minha nova rotina de cabelo, que ando a experimentar. Depois de longas horas a pesquisar sobre ingredientes e marcas e mesmo os produtos, encontrei alguns que podem funcionar. Notem que ainda estou a testá-los, por isso não tenho a certeza que funcionam.

Before we get into the products and the routine, you have to know that my hair is naturally curly, not oily nor dry (but is more to the dry side), it's dense and has a bit of volume. Also, as I mention before that I follow the curly girl method, I as well try to use only cruelty-free brands.

Now for the routine and products.

Because of the dandruff and flaky scalp I am trying now the INKEY List Salicylic Acid Exfoliant Scalp Treatment. I bought it at Lookfantastic, but you can also find at Sephora. According to the internet, the salicylic acid will remove the build-up and also help to balance oil levels' production.

I apply the treatment as a pre-shampoo, meaning before showering. I put on a dry scalp and wait for 10 minutes. I only use twice a week.

Antes de falar sobre os produtos e a rotina, é preciso dizer que o meu cabelo é naturalmente encaracolado, não oleoso nem seco (contudo mais para o seco), é denso e tem um pouco de volume. Mencionar que para além de seguir o método curly também dou prioridade a marcas livres de crueldade.

Agora a rotina e os produtos.

Por causa da caspa, estou a utilizar o Tratamento Exfoliante para o Couro Cabeludo com Ácido Salicílico da INKEY List. Podem encontrar na Lookfantastic e na Sephora. De acordo com a internet, o ácido salicílico irá remover o acumulado e ajudar a equilibrar os níveis de óleo. 

Uso como um pre-champô, antes de tomar banho. Aplico em couro cabeludo seco e deixo atoar por 10 minutos. Apenas utilizo duas vezes por semana.

In the shower, I wash my hair with the Deliplus Curl Perfect Shampoo, the curly girl method line from Mercadona. A shampoo without sulfates, riched with coconut oil to hydrate the hair and help with the curl and the frizz.

Continuing in the shower, I seal everything with the Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10 in 1 Renewal System Conditioner. A formula rich in antioxidants that provides several benefits to dull locks. With marula oil and biotin, the conditioner works to increase the hair's elasticity and strength, leaving the hair nourished, smooth, shiny and full of movement.

No banho, lavo o cabelo com o champô Curl Perfect da marca Deliplus, a linha do Mercadona que segue o método curly. Um champô sem sulfatos, rico em óleo de côco para hidratar o cabelo e ajudar com os caracóis e o frizz.

De seguida, finalizo tudo com o condicionador Superfuit Complex 10 in 1 Renewal System da Shea Moisture. Uma fórmula cheia de antioxidantes que fornece benefícios para cabelo sem brilho. Tem também óleo de marula e biotina, que irá dar mais elasticidade ao cabelo e irá fortalecê-lo. Deixando assim o cabelo nutrido, suave, brilhante e cheio de movimento.

After the shower, I only use one more product. The Activator Gel from the Curl Perfect line from Mercadona - Deliplus. Its formula enriched with coconut oil, aloe vera, vegetable proteins and linseed extract provides hydration and flexible fixation to the hair.

I let it air dry, so no heat will frizz or destroy the normal shape the curls. And after it is dry I just scrunch up the dried gel.

Depois do banho, apenas utilizo um produto. O Gel Ativador da linha Curl Perfect do Mercadona - Deliplus. A sua formula enriquecida em óleo de côco, aloé vera, proteínas vegetais e extrato de linhaça, proporciona hidratação e uma fixação flexível.

Deixo o cabelo secar ao ar livre, sendo que o calor iria deixar o cabelo com frizz e estragar o encaracolado natural. Quando seco, amasso um pouco o cabelo de cabeça para baixo para tirar o excesso de gel seco.

Just like a year ago, I decided to go to Aveiro to run. It was last year that I ran my best 10km. This year, I was up for a different challenge. I wanted to see how I would deal by running an half-marathon all by myself. It was actually only my second.

Since, my sister was working on that weekend, it was just me and my dad, but we definitely made the most of it. We left after my work in the morning of friday and arrived in Lisbon on sunday evening. We had delicious food, enjoyed a group dinner, went for a walk near the beach, and the most important of all we had fun running.

Spoiler, I did not beat my record, but this weekend was so worth it. Which, by the way, happened on April, days 21 to 23.

Tal como há um ano atrás, decidi ir a Aveiro para correr. Foi no ano passado que corri os meus melhores 10km. Este ano, estava pronta para outro desafio. Queria saber como é que reagiria a correr uma meia maratona sozinha. Foi a minha segunda.

Uma vez que a minha irmã estava a trabalhar no fim-de-semana, fui apenas com o meu pai, mas nós definitivamente aproveitámos ao máximo. Abalámos depois do meu trabalho de manhã da sexta-feira e chegámos a Lisboa na tarde domingo. Comemos coisas deliciosas, tivemos um jantar de grupo, passeamos perto da praia e mais importante divertimo-nos na corrida.

Spoiler, não bati o meu recorde, mas este fim-de-semana valeu muito a pena. Que, ainda não tinha mencionado, aconteceu em abril, de 21 a 23.

I already showed you once an outfit with flare jeans. If I’m not mistaken it was a look inspired by the 70s. So, technically is not how I style them, even though I would totally wear that outfit.

Since I am a petite girl, I can’t just wear whatever with flared jeans. If styled in a certain way, I will seem even smaller that I already am. To give you an idea, I am 5 feet 2. With that said, there are some things that I try to avoid. Because in reality, flared jeans can really elongate your legs.

Eu já vos mostrei uma vez um outfit com calças à boca de sino. Se não estou enganada, foi um visual inspirado nos anos 70. Por isso, tecnicamente não é como eu as estilizo, contudo eu totalmente usaria aquela combinação.

Uma vez que sou uma rapariga pequena, eu não posso vestir qualquer coisa com as calças. Quando combinadas de uma certa forma, eu irei parecer ainda mais pequena do que já sou. Para vos dar uma ideia, meço 1,57. Tendo dito isso, existem algumas coisas que tento evitar. Porque, na realidade, calças à boca de sino podem alongar as pernas.

First thing I was careful with was wearing a top that didn’t cover all skin. Specially, in my tummy area. So, I wanted a crop top. That way, you have so much jeans fabric, but you can still see skin, which gives the illusion of taller. Next, because the pants are already black, I wanted the top to give some more colour to the outfit. To resemble more me. I chose a white strap top with lilac flowers. For a more elegant appearance I added a gold necklace. 

For the shoes, again since the pants are a bit long, I used sneakers with a platform. And ones with colour to be more me. Also to match with the top: both with pastel tones. I also made this choice because it gives of a cute retro edgy vibe. Which is the style I like.

In terms of makeup, I decided to leave it simple, with just a pink eyeliner. And the hair in a normal ponytail.

A primeira coisa com que tive cuidado foi não vestir uma blusa que tapasse toda a minha pele. Especialmente, na área da barriga. Sendo assim, queria um crop top. Assim, mesmo com tanto tecido por parte das calças, ainda se vê alguma pele, o que dá a ilusão de altura. De seguida, porque as calças já eram pretas, eu quis um top que tivesse cor. Para realçar mais o meu estilo. Escolhi uma blusa de alças com flores lilases. Para uma aparência mais elegante, adicionei um colar dourado.

Para os sapatos, outra vez, visto que as calças são compridas, usei uns ténis com plataforma. E uns que tivessem cor para ser mais eu. E também para combinar com o top: ambos em cores pasteis. Optei por estes porque dão um ar fofo retro edgy. O que é o estilo que gosto.

Em termos de maquilhagem, mantive-a simples, com apenas um eyeliner em rosa. E o cabelo no rabo-de-cavalo simples.

The longer I keep working and therefore I establish a certain routine, it is hard to come up with an original makeup everytime. Specially, because my job doesn't require a nice makeup. Nonetheless, I always put something. 

I'm very much into colourful eyeliner, and I do try to do it every workday, and also making it different from the previous ones. But when I can't or I don't have ideas or just simply don't feel like it, this is the makeup that I go for basically everytime.

Quanto mais eu continuo a trabalhar e consequentemente a criar uma rotina, fica mais difícil fazer maquilhagens originais todas os dias. Especialmente, porque o meu trabalho não requer uma boa maquilhagem. Mesmo assim, eu ponho sempre algo.

Eu gosto bastante de eyeliner colorido, e eu tento desenhar todos os dias de trabalho, e também fazer um diferente do anteriores. Mas quando não consigo ou já não tenho ideias ou simplesmente não me apetece, esta é a maquilhagem que faço sempre basicamente.

In terms of skin, I am really basic. I continue to not use foundation, so I rely a lot on my concealer - The Tarte Concealer Shape Tape. I apply under my eyes and in my t-zone (nose, chin, center of forehead), also if I have any pimple I apply there too. 

Then I use a bit of pink blush and some highlighter. These two various a bit, but it is in the shades of pink and gold, respectively. I don't usely set it with compact powder, I like the dewy look, but if the weather is really humid, I do it.

For the eyes, I'm incredibly into pink and glitter for the eyeshadows. In simple terms, I do whatever I'm feeling with the pallete from Mercadona, the Cherry from Deliplus. 

The final touches are the combination of the eyelash curler and some mascara and I also brush and set my eyebrows. I don't do any colour in the last ones.

Em termos de pele, sou básica. Continuo a não usar base, por isso dependo muito no corretor - Tarte Shape Tape. Aplico debaixo dos olhos e na zona T (nariz, queixo e centro da testa), e também nas borbulhas que tiver.

Depois uso um pouco de blush e de iluminador. Estes variam um bocado, mas geralmente nas cores rosa e dourado, respetivamente. Eu não finalizo com pó compacto, eu gosto do acabamento dewy, mas se o tempo está húmido, eu utilizo.

Para os olhos, eu estou a adorar rosas e glitter como sombras. Em termos simples, eu faço qualquer coisa, dependendo do que estou a sentir, com a paleta do Mercadona, a Cherry da marca Deliplus.

Os últimos toques é a combinação do curvex com o rímel e também pentear e fixar as sobrancelhas. Eu não ponho nenhuma cor nas últimas.
