 This opinion of mine, speaking honestly, is going to be more accurate. For this product, I use it diligently for over 2 months and I observed more in detail the results so I could have a truthful view of the product and its claims. It is a toner that I was very looking foward too, because it is supposed to treat on of my top concerns in terms of my skin: blackheads and whiteheads.

According to the COSRX's website, the toner is formulated with 7% Glycolic Acid (AHA), therefore it will help exfoliate the skin and reveal a radiant, even-toned complexion. More benefits adding to the previous ones are clear whiteheads, promote skin cell turnover and remove dead skin. 

It targets dull and rough skin, uneven texture, tiny white bumps and it's for dry and combination skin.

Esta minha opinião, falando honestamente, vai ser mais precisa. Para este produto, eu utilizei-o diligentemente durante 2 meses e observei em detalhe os seus resultados de modo a poder ter uma visão verdadeira dos benefícios do produto. É um tónico que eu já queria experimentar há algum tempo, porque supostamente é para tratar uma das minhas maiores preocupações relativamente à pele: pontos negros e brancos.

De acordo com o site da COSRX, este tónico é formulado com 7% de ácido glicólico (AHA), e por isso vai ajudar na exfoliação da pele e torná-la radiante e com um tom uniforme. Mais benefícios a juntar a estes são limpar os pontos brancos, promover a renovação da pele e remover pele morta.

Tem como alvo pele opaca e com textura, tons irregulares, pequenos inchaços brancos e adequa-se a peles secas ou combinadas. 

My biggest skin problem is exactly tiny white bumps that I believe don't oxidize. And they concentrate more on my cheeks near the nose.

As I said previously, I used it for two months, every other day, since in the box is recommended to use only 4 times a week. I applied the product at night, after the double cleansing, with my hands. I usually use 2-3 pumps. 

I have to say that I'm disappointed. I'm not so sure if it even helped that much. Because I know that when it's not around that time of the month my skin is pretty good, but it has those tiny bumps. And even in those weeks, that my hormones and foods are at their best, I didn't see much differences.

A minha maior preocupação é exatamente esses pequenos pontos brancos que não oxidam. E estão mais concentrados nas minhas bochechas, perto do nariz.

Como disse anteriormente, eu usei durante dois meses, dia sim dia não, uma vez que na caixa aconselhava a utilizar apenas 4 vezes por semana. Eu aplico o produto à noite, depois da limpeza dupla, com as minhas mãos. Usualmente uso 2-3 esguichos.

Tenho a dizer que estou desapontada. Não tenho assim tanta a certeza se ajudou muito. Porque eu sei que quando não é aquela altura do mês a minha pele tende a estar bastante boa, mas tem na mesma essas pequenas acumulações de pus. E mesmo nessas semanas, em que as minhas hormonas e o meu tipo de comida estão no seu melhor, não vejo grandes diferenças.

One thing that it may have helped with is my acne scars and pigmentation. AHA is great for that surface-level concerns so maybe my little whiteheads and unoxidize "blackheads" are not that superficial for the AHA to act on. Also from what I have researched, the most effective percentage of AHA is between 8 and 10 and this one is 7%. Since I don't consider my skin as sensitive it may not be potent enough.

Overall, I don't recommend this essence if you want to treat acne and whiteheads, even though the product claims to help in that matter. I would though give it a shot if your biggest concern is acne scars and dull skin.

Uma coisa que eu acho que ajudou um pouco foi nas cicatrizes das borbulhas e na pigmentação. Os AHAs são bons para problemas a nível superficial, e talvez pelos meus pontos "negros" que não oxidam não estarem assim tão à superfície não aconteceu nada. Também, do que eu pesquisei, a percentagem mais eficaz de AHA é entre 8 e 10, e este produto apenas tem 7%. Uma vez que não considero a minha pele sensível, pode não ser potente o suficiente.

No geral, eu não recomendo esta essência se o vosso maior problema é o acne e os pontos brancos, embora o produto aclame que é bom para isso. Contudo, eu daria uma oportunidade se a vossa preocupação é mais as manchas na pele devido a borbulhas e pele baça.

Here I am, late again, for the decade themed outfit. For this month I bring you guys a 90s outfit. If you saw my previous one, the 1980s, this one is somehow similar, which it also means that it is very on board with my style. I like to wear a mix of 80s and 90s. What differs on this month is the fact that has a very distinct grunge style, since it became famous in the mid 90s.

Overall, the trends of this decade were flannel shirts, baggy jeans, and combat boots. So that is exactly what I used. Can't forget that movies like the Clueless and the tv show Friends are from these years.

Aqui estou eu, outra vez atrasada, para um visual temático de década. Para este mês, trago-vos um outfit dos anos 90. Se vieram o anterior, de 1980, este é de alguma forma semelhante, o que quer também dizer que vai muito ao encontro do meu estilo. Gosto de vestir uma mistura de anos 80 e 90. O que difere neste mês é o facto de que tem um estilo grunge muito distinto, uma vez que se tornou popular nos meados dos anos 90.

No geral, as modas desta década foram as camisas de flanela, calças largas e botas de combate. E foi exatamente isso que usei. Não nos podemos esquecer que filmes como o Clueless e a serie Friends são destes anos.

I literally chose the most easy and affordable for everyone outfit. The pieces are very simple and easy to find, if you don't have them already in your closet.

It's the typical 90s grunge outfit you can think of. Obviously, I modified it a bit to be more up to date, but with the 90s vibe nonetheless. But if you think about it, the only thing that is more from today's decade is the jeans, that are baggy ones. The rest is a normal black spaghetti strap top - to show some skin and not be just a black stain - a flannel shirt, which is perfect for the fall weather, and some plataform shoes, because my Dr. Martens are in a box somewhere due to the remodelling, therefore I couldn't use them, but I strongly recommend. Underneath it all are some really cool socks, just letting you know.

Eu literalmente escolhi o look mais fácil e acessível para todos. As peças são simples e fáceis de encontrar, senão as tiverem já no vosso guarda-fato.

É o típico visual grunge de 90 que vocês imaginam. Obviamente que modifiquei um pouco para estar também em harmonia com os dias de hoje, mas continua com os vibes de 90. Mas eu acho que a única diferença é nas calças, que são mais desta década, são realmente baggy. O resto é um crop top de alças finas - para mostrar alguma pele e não ser uma mancha preta - uma camisa de flanela, que é perfeita para o tempo de outono, e uns sapatos com plataforma - porque as minhas Dr. Martens estão numa caixa algures devido às obras e por isso não consegui utilizá-las, mas aconselho vivamente. Debaixo disto tenho umas meias muito fixes, só para saberem.

If you've been following me on instagram you would know some of the things that happen in my life. In this case, in particular, MOTELX happened. And if you have been reading my blog, its something that occurs every year and also go every year. But this time, I decided it was going to be different.

Being now finished with university and having that trait of personality that makes me want to be doing something all the time, I just couldn't not work of some sort after having my summer holidays. With the international horror festival around the corner, I just thought why not give it a chance to their volunteering? And it was exactly what I did.

In the 2022 edition of MOTELX, I made the decision to be a volunteer at the cinema festival. And it was one of the best experiences I had. I was so nervous on the first day, but in the next hour after everything had began I was the most relaxed. By being there, helping out a project that I so loved, I had to chance to meet incredible people, to see the behind-the-scenes of everything - how they put everything together, what goes behind the walls, the screens, the projection room, etc - I got to have fun, to try different things, to get out of my comfort zone sometimes, I even got the chance to watch movies for free. And with all of that and more I create amazing memories.

Here I leave you guys a reels (quick, fast paced video) of my days volunteering at MOTELX, that takes place at cinema de São Jorge. These are not only moments of my hours as a volunteer, but also my routine on those days - I went for runs, I had dinner out with friends, etc.

Se me têm seguido no instagram, sabem o que tem acontecido na minha vida. Neste caso em particular, o MOTELX aconteceu. E se também têm lido o meu blog ao longo dos anos, este momento é algo que ocorre todos os anos ao qual eu vou também todos os anos. Mas desta vez eu decidi que iria ser diferente.

Estando agora livre da universidade e tendo aquele traço de personalidade que me faz não querer estar parada, eu não podia não trabalhar de alguma fora depois de ter as minhas férias de verão. Com o Festival Internacional de Terror ao virar da esquina, eu pensei porque não dar uma oportunidade ao seu voluntariado? E foi exatamente o que fiz.

Na edição de 2022 do MOTELX, eu tomei a decisão de ser uma voluntária no festival de cinema. E foi uma das melhores experiências que já tive. Eu estava bastante nervosa no primeiro dia, mas logo na hora seguinte a tudo começar eu fiquei logo relaxada. Ao estar lá, a ajudar um projeto que adoro, eu consegui conhecer pessoas incríveis, tive a oportunidade de ver o por detrás de tudo - a montagem de tudo, o que está atrás das paredes, dos ecrãs, a sala de projeção, entre outras coisas -, diverti-me imenso, experimentei coisas novas, sai da minha zona de conforto às vezes, até tive a chance de ver filmes gratuitamente. E tudo isso e mais fez com que eu criasse memórias fantásticas.

Aqui fica um reels (um vídeo rápido e de ritmo acelerado) dos meus dias de voluntariado no MOTELX, que se situa no cinema de São Jorge. Não são apenas momentos das minhas horas como voluntária, mas também da minha rotina desses dias - eu fui correr, jantei fora com amigos, etc.

This may not seem like a big deal, but believe me it is. In the 10 years of leaving the countryside, I have never stayed more than two days at my grandparents house. So now, being here for a whole of two weeks was something else.

With that being said, I have here a vlog of one of my days here in Ribatejo.

Pode não parecer um grande acontecimento, mas acreditem que é. Nos 10 anos seguintes a ter deixado o campo, eu nunca fiquei mais do que dois dias na casa dos meus avós. Então agora, ficar aqui durante exatamente duas semanas foi qualquer coisa.

Tendo dito isto, tenho aqui um vídeo de um dos meus dias no Ribatejo.

For quite sometime now, I have been running weekly, and as you may know, I even went on some official runs, inclusive 10km ones. However, this year I had a different goal: I wanted to run an half-marathon. But there is a huge difference from the km that I currently run. Therefore I started a 9 week, because that is all that I have left, program trainning to be able to run 21km.

I run four times a week, where my longest run are on sunday. And on top of that, I'm still mantainning my normal workout routines. Needless to say that at the end of the week my legs, and overall body, feel tired. That's why I'm here to share my end of the week relax/stretch routine.

It consists of 20 moves, 30 seconds each, which equals a total of 10 minutes. All the moves are slow and stable, to really let you sink in and have the most lengthing of the members you need.

Já há algum tempo que eu ando a fazer corridas semanais, e como devem saber, até fui a algumas corridas oficiais, inclusive de 10km. No entanto, este ano tenho outro objetivo: correr uma meia-maratona. Mas existe uma grande diferença no número de quilómetros para os que eu atualmente corro. Sendo assim, comecei um programa de treino de 9 semanas, visto que é apenas o tempo que tenho até à corrida, de forma a conseguir correr 21km.

Eu corro quatro vezes por semana, em que a minha corrida mais longa é ao domingo. Para além disso, eu continuo a fazer as minhas rotinas de treino normais. Escusado será dizer que no final da semana as minhas pernas, e o corpo todo, estão cansadas. É por isso que venho partilhar a minha rotina relaxante/de alongamentos do final da semana.

Consiste em 20 exercícios, 30 segundos cada, o que equivale a um total de 10 minutos. Todos os exercícios são lentos e estáveis, para conseguir sentir os membros a alongar da forma que precisam.

 I'm so thankful for the the fact that 80s fashion is exactly what I like - I mix with other styles but 80s clothes are very fun. But I'm more happy about that because my house, at the moment is a mess of boxes since I'll have some house fixing next week, so a lot of my clothes are already packed up.

Leaving that aside, this outfit is going to be the most me one, don't expect a very different thing from my usual, like the previous decades looks.

Eu estou muito agradecida pelo facto de os anos 80 serem exatamente o género de roupa que eu gosto - eu combino com outros estilos, mas a moda dos anos 80 é muito gira. Mas estou ainda mais feliz porque, neste momento, a minha casa está numa confusão de caixas uma vez que vou ter reparações para a semana e por isso muita da minha roupa está arrumada.

Pondo isso de lado, este visual é o que vai ser mais "eu", não esperem algo muito diferente do meu usual, como foi o caso das décadas anteriores.

As the years start to be more up to date, the easier it gets to recreate, specially for you guys with your own clothes. I love each piece of clothing I'm wearing and even though I did not use one particular piece that I think is very eighties vibe, I'm still happy with the result.

The 1980s fashion is characterized by the power suits, legwarmers and spandex and Lycra tights, but in terms of day-to-day clothes you can see a lot of pastel and acid-washed jeans paired with effortless grunge tops, such as tie-dye tees, baggy t-shirts, or colourful shirts.

Since it's me doing, obviously I went for a printed red coloured shirt tucked in some washed high-waisted mom jeans, accessorized it with a necklace and a belt and on the hair a scrunchie. To finalize, I chose sneakers, I decided to go for high-top all stars.

À medida que os anos começam a ser mais recentes, mais fácil fica recriá-los, especialmente para vocês com as vossas próprias roupas. Eu adoro cada peça de roupa que estou a usar e mesmo não utilizando uma em particular que eu acho que tem mesmo ar de anos 80, fiquei mesmo assim feliz com o resultado.

A moda de 1980 é caracterizada pelos fatos de treino, aquecedores de pernas, spandex e pelas lycra e pelas collants, mas em termos de roupa do dia-a-dia vê-mos imenso calças de ganga pastel ou desgastadas com tops grunge, como camisolas tie-dye, t-shirts largas, ou camisas coloridas.

Uma vez que sou eu a construir o look, obviamente que escolhi uma camisa vermelha com padrões metida para dentro de umas calças de ganga mom desgastadas, e como acessórios escolhi um colar dourado um cinto preto e para o cabelo adicionei um scrunchie. Para finalizar, optei por ténis e decidi por all stars em bota.

The possibility of having my period while I was on my holidays were very, very high. Since I got covid, back in the beginning of june, everything got a little bit irregular - in that month I got my period twice, so the time got messed up, to say the least.

It was supposed to appear in my first day in Chiclana, thankfully it didn't so I was able to enjoy that day fully, specially because I didn't have any symptoms either. However, 3 days later - I was there from monday to monday and I had it on thursday - I guess it was time. Obviously, when I saw that it really was my period, I thought how am I going to enjoy the holidays, since summer resorts are all about the beach, the sea, the pool, swimming, water activities, etc?

To be fair with you, I was already happy that I got to enjoy the first days, so that kept me with a positive mindset. However, speaking honestly, the first "period morning", the time when we go to the beach, it was a bit hard - I got sad for the fact that I couldn't go to the sea and have fun with my dad and sister. But the next few days were pretty chill. 

If you want me to tell the whole story, let me know, but I'm kinda preparing that story already.

A probabilidade de me aparecer o período durante as férias era muito, muito grande. Desde que apanhei a covid-19, no início de junho, tudo ficou um pouco irregular - nesse mês tive o período duas vezes, por isso o ciclo ficou baralhado, para não dizer mais.

Era suposto aparecer no primeiro dia em Chiclana, felizmente não aconteceu e por isso consegui aproveitar esse dia ao máximo, especialmente porque também não tinha sintomas. Contudo, 3 dias depois - eu estive lá de segunda a segunda e apareceu na quinta-feira - foi o dia. Obviamente, quando eu vi que era mesmo o período, eu pensei como é que vou aproveitar as férias se resorts de verão são sobre ir à praia, ao mar, à piscina, nadar, atividades aquáticas, etc?

Para ser honesta, eu até estava bastante contente porque consegui aproveitar mesmo bem os primeiros dias, e isso deixou-me com uma mente positiva. No entanto, também falando a verdade, a primeira manhã com a menstruação, aquela hora em que vou à praia, foi um pouco difícil - fiquei triste com o facto de não poder ir ao mar e divertir-me com o meu pai e a minha irmã. Mas os dias seguintes passaram-se bem. 

Se quiserem saber a história completa, digam-me, mas eu já estou mais ao menos a prepará-la.

Because I don't want you girls to get sad either, I'm going to give some advices, ideas and also tricks so you can enjoy your holidays in case this also happens to you.

The obvious one is, well, wear tampons, that makes you life a bit easier. But if you are like me, and find it really uncomfortable and to be honest I don't like the though of it one bit, that's not really an option, however, there is still hope.

Before anything I want you to remember 3 things, that are more or less advices: first, don't get demotivated. Seriously, there is no need for that because you can do so much more stuff than you think; second, I know it can seem a bit selfish, but try to come up with things to do with your family or the people you are going to, it's going to make it easier and I pretty sure they don't mind it too much taking a bit of their time on the beach to be with you on another activity; third and last, really consider as well making this your time, where you can be with yourself and built that confident alone time - I know it's a bit contratory to the previous one, but we also don't want to ruin it for the people, and sometimes they need that reassurance.

Uma vez que eu também não quero que vocês, meninas, fiquem tristes, vou partilhar convosco alguns conselhos, ideias e também truques de forma a conseguirem aproveitar as férias no caso de vos acontecer o mesmo.

A mais óbvia é, bem, usem tampões, torna a vida um pouco mais fácil. Mas se vocês são como eu e acham-nos demasiado desconfortáveis e honestamente nem gostam de pensar nisso, esta não é bem uma opção, porém, ainda há esperança.

Antes demais quero que se lembrem de 3 coisas, mais ao menos conselhos: primeiro, não desmotivem. Sinceramente, não há necessidade para isso porque existem muitas mais coisas para se fazer do que imaginam; segundo, pode parecer um pouco egoísta, mas tentem arranjar coisas que junta toda a família ou as pessoas com quem vão. Vai tornar a experiência muito mais fácil e tenho quase a certeza que eles não se importam de tirar um pouquinho do tempo de praia deles para estarem contigo noutra atividade; terceiro e último, considerem também tornar este o vosso tempo, onde podem estar com vocês próprios e construir aquela confiança em estar sozinho - sei que vai um pouco contra o que disse anteriormente, mas também não queremos arruinar a viagem para os outros, e às vezes eles precisam dessa garantia que tu estás bem.

Now, in terms of what to do. It will always depend on where you are, but the ideas I'm going to give are some of the most base ones, since where I was didn't have much to see near the resort, and the hotel itself was lacking some stuff. So I think you can only get more stuff to do and not less from these.

Right away, one of the things you can do is, obviously if you like it, and I totally prefer to do this in the morning, workout. Any type. Go for a run, try out the resort gym, you can do yoga or meditate at the beach, maybe just go for a walk on the beach. These options are such great starters of the day.

Secondly, try to explore the place where you are. Again, the location where I was in Chiclana didn't have much, but not only I needed to go out to be aware of that, but honestly there's always some interesting things, for example I was very intrigued by the caminos name's, like they give names to every little road. 

Thirdly, think about joinning some of the activities they have. Every resort I've been to, always have tons of gathering events, some are in the pool, but they also have some others like dancing/ zumba. Also, enjoy everything that the resort has to give, mine had an arcade.

Fourthly, and this may seem a bit odd, but focus on one of your hobbies. You will have more time so why don't, for example, draw some of the sceneries or write about some of the things happening. You can also listen to music.

Fifthly, play a lot of games. Come on, you are in the most amazing environment to play games, such as all the diffentes types of card games, UNO, truth or dare, mimics, trivia, you name it. All of these while grabbing a bite or a drink.

Sixthly and last, please don't stop going to the beach, there is so much to do there beyond going for a swim. You can touch your toes in the water, play games, do sports, read, build sandcastles, explore the ravines around the beach, etc. And for the pool, just like I did, still go to the sun loungers to get that vitamin D and read a book.

Agora, em termos de o que fazer. Vai depender de onde estão, mas as ideias que vos vou dar são as de base, visto que o local onde estava também não tinha muito à sua volta, e até o próprio resort tinha algumas coisas em falta. Sendo assim, penso que apenas conseguem encontrar mais coisas e não menos do que estas.

Logo, uma das coisas que podem fazer é, obviamente se gostarem, e prefiro totalmente fazer isto de manhã, treinar. Qualquer tipo. Podem ir correr, experimentar o ginásio, fazer yoga ou meditar na praia ou simplesmente dar um passeio por lá. Estas opções são uma boa maneira de começar o dia.

Em segundo, tentem explorar o sítio onde estão. Outra vez, o local onde estava em Chiclana não tinha muito à volta, mas não só eu precisava de ir ver para estar ciente disso, mas também honestamente existe sempre algo interessante, por exemplo, eu fiquei intrigada com os nomes do caminos, tipo eles dão nomes a todas as ruas, todinhas.

Terceiramente, pensem em juntarem-se a algumas atividades que eles preparam. Todos os resorts em que estive tiveram sempre montes de eventos de grupo, alguns são na piscina, mas eles também têm outros como dança/zumba. Aproveitem igualmente tudo o que eles têm para oferecer, no meu resort havia uma arcada.

Quarto lugar, e isto pode parecer estranho, mas foquem-se num dos vossos hobbies. Irão ter mais tempo, por isso porque não, por exemplo, ir desenhar algumas das paisagens ou escrever sobre alguma coisa que está a acontecer. Podem ouvir música também.

Em quinto, vão jogar jogos (passa a redundância). Estão no ambiente perfeito para jogos, como todos os diferentes tipos de jogos de cartas, UNO, verdade ou consequência, mímica, trívia, existem tantos. Todos estes enquanto comem alguma coisa ou a beber algum cocktail.

Por último, sexta ideia, não deixem de ir à praia, por favor. Há tanta coisa para se fazer lá para além de nadar. Podem ir molhar os pés, brincar na água, jogar algum desporto, ler, fazer castelos na areia, explorar as ravinas à volta da praia, etc. E na piscina, tal como eu fiz, continuem a ir para as espreguiçadeiras para apanhar essa vitamina D e leiam um livro.

To end this post with some secrets, I have one or two tips for you:

- In case you don't know, while you are in the water, your period does not flow as much. Because of the water pressure you experience a reduction in your flow, so a lot of the times there's not any leakage, just a tint in your swimsuit. 

With that being said, let me tell you what I did. For three days I did not go to the water because the flow is quite high, for me, in those days, but once it reduces, I can see that by the way it's filling the pads, I decided to go into the sea. But I did two things: I chose a black swimsuit, black because if there was a stain it was not very visible, and a swimsuit because it snuggles better; and I also left my normal panties underneath the swimsuit, so that way I had an extra layer, and they didn't bother me at all.

For me it worked. I was able to enjoy a full morning, untill lunch, at the beach without any leakage running down my legs and without getting the towel dirty. And believe me, I stayed there getting sun showers for quite some time and I even sat down after the beach to get a drink, and still not stain left behind.

Para acabar esta postagem com alguns segredos, tenho para vocês uma ou duas dicas:

- Caso não sabiam, enquanto se está na água, o fluxo menstrual não é muito forte. Devido à pressão da água, todas experienciamos redução no fluxo, por isso muitas vezes não existe fugas, apenas uma corzinha no fato de banho.

Com isso dito, deixem-me dizer-vos o que eu fiz. Durante os três primeiros dias eu não fui de todo à água devido ao fluxo ainda ser forte, para mim, mas assim que ele começou a reduzir, e consigo ver isso pela o preenchimento do penso higiénico, decidi ir ao mar. Contudo fiz duas coisas: escolhi um fato de banho preto, preto porque se houver mancha não será visível, e um fato de banho em vez de biquíni visto que aconchega melhor o corpo; e também deixei as minhas quecas normais por baixo do fato de banho, porque assim tinha uma camada extra, e não me incomodaram nada.

Para mim resultou. Consegui desfrutar a manhã inteira, até ao almoço, na praia sem qualquer escape a escorrer pelas minhas pernas e sem sujar a toalha de praia.
