If you read my "back to univeristy" post, you know that I like to plan out more or less 5 outfits for those cases when I'm on a rush or I woke up late or I just simply didn't have inspiration. Because I feel like we all need ideas for outfits, specially quick and simple ones, I decided to share with you my ideas - and it feels almost like going back in time to the old fashion blog eras.

Se leram o meu post "back to university", sabem que eu gosto de planear mais ou menos 5 outfits para aqueles casos quando estou com pressa ou acordei tarde ou simplesmente não tive inspiração. Uma vez que sinto que todos precisamos de ideias para visuais, especialmente rápidos e fáceis, decidi partilhar as minhas sugestões - e é quase como se tivesse a voltar aos tempos antigos de um blog de roupa.

#1 - Vests are Cool

I'm so happy that vests are in style because I totally loved them. They give so much more detail and dimension to an outfit. If you have a simple as just some jeans and a white top with a vest it's already spiced up. With some jewelry too, it feels like you put a long time onto it.

Estou tão feliz que os coletes estão na moda, porque eu adoro-os. Eles adicionam tanto detalhe e dimensão a um outfit. Se tiverem algo tão simples como calças de ganga e uma blusa branca com um colete, dão logo outro ar. Com alguns acessórios, parece que demoraram algum tempo a compor. 

#2 - Dad Style

This is basically me "stealing" pieces from my dad and putting all of them together. It has a very construction, baggy feel to it, and I love it. It's a flannel shirt, that has so many colours and a pattern that the bottom doesn't need to be special. Again, with some gold jewelry looks so hot.

Isto sou eu basicamente a "roubar" peças do meu pai e pô-las todas juntas. Tem um visual de construção, com as peças largas, e eu adoro. É uma camisa de flanela que tem bastantes cores e um padrão, e por isso a parte de baixo não precisa de ser especial. Outra vez, com alguns acessórios douradas fica muito lindo.

#3 - Oriental Edgy

I'm seeing an edgy theme here. I'm in love with mesh tops. They have so little, but give so much. Plus, this one has an oriental green pattern that makes her stand out even more. The denim dress is a very easy piece to choose and goes with everything.

Estou a ver aqui um tema arrojado. Eu estou apaixonada por tops mesh. Eles têm tão pouco, mas adicionam tanto. Para mais, este tem um padrão verde oriental que fá-lo destacar-se ainda mais. O vestido de ganga é uma peça fácil e que combina com tudo.

#4 - A Little more Feminine

As you can see, a lot of the outfits are based on a key piece. This one has a bit more going one: the turtleneck and the warm plaid skirt. Even if this one doesn't have a shinning piece, the little details matter too. So choosing pieces with certain details, helps to elevate the outfit easily.

Como podem ver, muitos dos meus visuais tem uma peça chave. Este tem um pouco mais a acontecer: a gola alta e a saia quente com xadrez. Mesmo não tendo uma peça estrela, os pequenos detalhes também contam. Por isso, escolham peças com certos detalhes, ajuda a elevar o outfit facilmente.

#5 - Vintage Fashion student vibe

Honestly, this one is just a mood. Choosing yellow pattern pants is already a statement piece, and then combining it with a purple turtleneck it just takes the whole outfit to another level. For me, here, the simple top with jewelry elevates too. Rather than a simple look, it adds a bit of fashionista vibes and elegancy.

Honestamente, este só passa uma boa sensação. Escolher calças com padrão amarelas já é por si só uma peça que se destaca, e depois usar uma gola alta lilás, eleva todo o visual a outro nível. Para mim, aqui, a camisola simples com bijuteria eleva também. Em vez de um visual sexy, adiciona um outro lado mais fashionista e elegante.

 Because of my university schedule, my days are a lot different in terms of when I do some things, for example, on wednesdays my class starts only at noon so I have more free time in the morning, but the same doesn't happend on tuesdays. If you would like to see how are each one of my days, let me know.

Por causa do meu horário da universidade, os meus dias são muito diferentes em termos de quando eu faço as coisas, por exemplo, às quartas a minha aula só começa à tarde, por isso tenho mais tempo livre de manhã o que não acontece nas terças. Se querem saber como é cada dia meu, digam-me.

7A.M. 

My alarm goes on. I usually have it at this hour but I never really get up right away. Only after 15 minutes it's when I get enough courage to go to the bathroom - specially in this cold. At 7:20 I am washing my face and getting dressed in my workout gear, because on wednesdays I go for a run. If you are curious I've been doing 10km (around 6miles). 

I drink my morning glass of water, eat something super light and then do the rest to get fully ready for the workout, like I do a ponytail, put on my arm-phone thing and my earphones. Shoes on and at 8A.M. I'm out running.

7:00

O meu alarme toca. Usualmente, tenho para esta hora, mas eu nunca me levanto logo. Apenas depois de 15 minutos é que eu arranjo coragem para ir para a casa de banho - especialmente neste frio. Às 7:20, estou a lavar a cara e a vestir-me com a roupa de desporto, porque às quartas vou correr. Se têm curiosidade, eu tenho feito 10km.

Bebo o meu copo de água da manhã, como algo leve e faço resto para estar preparada para ir correr, como apanhar o cabelo, por o meu telemóvel no braço e os fones. Calçados os ténis e às 8 horas começo a correr.

9A.M.

Around this time is when I arrive home, all sweaty but feeling super energetic and happy. I rest for a bit, do some stretching and after 20 minutes I go get a shower. After that I also do my skincare routine, put on my 'go out' clothes and finally do my hair - put some gel and leave it air drying.

Por volta desta hora é quando chego a casa, toda suada, mas com muita energia e felicidade. Descanso um pouco, faço alguns alongamentos e depois de 20 minutos vou tomar banho. Depois disso faço a minha rotina de pele, ponha a minha roupa de sair e por último ajeito o cabelo - ponho gel e deixo-o a secar ao ar livre.

10A.M.

That actually takes me some time, because only now I start doing breakfast. On this day of the week is not something really elaborated, just some toasted sandwich - with vegan ham and cheese, some ghee butter and oregano. I do my nespresso coffee (not sponsored, it's just my favourite) and I'm go to my pc to watch an episode of a tv show or k-drama. Recently, I've been watching Narcos Mexico S3, really good, and Just Between Lovers, also really good.

Por acaso ainda demoro algum tempo, porque só agora é que começo a preparar o pequeno-almoço. Neste dia da semana, não faço nada elaborado, apenas uma tosta - com fiambre e queijo vegan, manteiga ghee e oregãos. Faço o meu café nespresso (não patrocinado, é o meu preferido) e vou para o pc para ver um episódio de uma série ou k-drama. Recentemente, tenho visto Narcos Mexico S3, muito bom, e Just Between Lovers, também muito bom.

11A.M.

I put the dishes into the dishwasher, clean swiftly the kitchen and then I go and study a bit of korean. I actually take my time doing it, I self-study korean for about 1 hour, and it's not that long for the method I chose to do.

Ponho os pratos na máquina, limpo rapidamente a cozinha e depois vou estudar um pouco de coreano. Eu tomo o meu tempo a fazê-lo, eu aprendo sozinha durante uma hora e não é muito para o método que eu escolhi.

12A.M.

Around midday is when I get fully ready, as in do my makeup, do my hair and put everything I need for university in my tote bag. I obviously don't take one hour getting ready so until 1:00p.m. I just stay on my pc watching some youtube videos or writting on the blog.

1P.M.

Here it's time for lunch. I don't know if it's just me, but I do take some time, not a lot, eating. I do it calmly, I enjoy the food and I also stayed a bit talking with my family and at last I eat something sweet, just sometimes.

Por volta do meio-dia, vou preparar-me totalmente, maquilho-me, dou uns toques no cabelo e ponho o que falta dentro da mala. Eu obviamente não demoro uma hora, por isso até às 13:00 fico apenas no computador a ver vídeos no youtube ou a escrever no blog.

13:00

Agora sim é hora do almoço. Eu não sei se sou só eu, mas eu demoro tempo, não muito, a comer. Faço-o calmamente, saboreio a comida e fico a falar com a minha família e por último como algo doce, às vezes.

2:10P.M.

Fifteen minutes for me to brush my teeth, put on my shoes and the mask, grab my jacket and earphones and I'm out of the door to catch the train so I arrive in time for my class at 3P.M.

15 minutos para lavar os dentes, calçar os sapatos e pôr a máscara, agarrar no casaco e nos fones e sair de casa para apanhar o comboio, para chegar a tempo da minha aula às 15:00.

6P.M.

At this hour I finish my only class of the day, it lasts 3 hours, and some minutes after I arrive home. I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty tired so I go to the sofa and just watch some tv or videos, or I go to my pc because I know if I lay on the sofa I might fall asleep.

7:30P.M.

Our dinner time is not the same everyday, because I tend to workout at 6p.m., but between 7:30 and 8:30 is when we eat.

Nesta hora é quando acabo a única aula do dia, dura 3 horas e depois de alguns minutos chego a casa. Não vou mentir, eu chego bastante cansada, então apenas fico no sofá a ver televisão ou vídeos, ou vou mesmo para o computador, porque se me deito no sofá deixo-me dormir.

19:30

A nossa hora do jantar não é a mesma todos os dias. Uma vez que costumo fazer exercício às 18h, entre as 19:30 e as 20:30 é quando janto.

9P.M.

Even if I don't feel like it, I do have to, at least, touch some of my university work or I get very self-conscious. So, depending if I have a lot to do or not, I stay, at max, studying for 1 hour and half. It doesn't mean necessarily take some notes or re-writing what we learned in the class, it can be creative projects.

10:30P.M.

This is totally my free time, I can't go straight to bed after being studying, I need to relax and take my mind of it first. I do all sorts of stuff and about the same things.

Embora não goste, eu tenho de, pelo menos, tocar nas coisas da universidade ou então fica-me a pesar na mente. Dependendo se tenho muito ou não, eu fico, no máximo, a estudar uma hora e meia. Não tem de ser necessariamente passar apontamentos ou reescrever coisas da aula, pode ser projetos criativos.

Este é o meu tempo totalmente livre. Eu não consigo ir direta para a cama depois de estudar, preciso primeiro de relaxar e tirar a minha mente da escola. Eu faço de tudo um pouco e um pouco das mesmas coisas.

11:30P.M.

Now, it's really time to get ready to bed. Turn off the computer, put everything I need in my university bag, choose what I'm going to wear in the next day and, obviously, dress my pajamas and do my night skincare routine. Already in bed, I take on last look on my social media and go to sleep. Night, night.

Agora, é mesmo hora de ir para a cama. Desligar o computador, pôr tudo o que preciso na mala da escola, escolher a roupa para o dia seguinte e, obviamente, vestir o pijama e fazer a minha rotina de pele da noite. Já na cama, dou uma última olhada nas redes sociais e vou dormir. Night, night.

 This month's outfit couldn't be easier, I guess, at least for me it is. Even though I love colour on my outfits and I always have to have a stand out colourful piece, I also really like black clothes and pair colour with black - it's really edgy and elegant at the same time. So making it all black it was not that difficult. However I need it to be interesting and not simple, for that I tried to mix different textures and "patterns".

O outfit deste mês não podia ser mais fácil, eu acho, pelo menos para mim é. Mesmo eu gostando muito de cor nos meus visuais e tendo sempre uma peça colorida que se destaca, eu também gosto muito de roupa preta e combiná-la com cores - é muito ousado e elegante ao mesmo tempo. Por isso, fazer tudo preto não foi difícil. No entanto, eu queria que fosse interessante e não muito simples, sendo assim tentei misturar diferentes texturas e padrões.

I feel like I mix every single different material I had in black together. But honestly I think it works. Personally, it's not a good idea to wear all black right now, because even though is cold in Portugal, it is also really sunny, so with black I get a little bit too hot.

Obviously, I went for my slouchy black jeans - I'm so in love with this style -, I put on a bodysuit that it's ribbed and has some lace up going on for a touch of sexiness and then I wore a blazer to embrace the edginess, but also make it elegant. The material of the blazer is more silky and lightweight. 

I can say that with black is edgy or sexy or both together there's no more styles to go for, really. I prefer edginess so I choose to go for boots, but heels would look super gorgeous.

Eu sinto que misturei todos os diferentes materiais que tinha em preto. Mas, honestamente, eu acho que funciona. Pessoalmente, não é uma boa ideia vestir tudo preto agora, porque mesmo estando frio em Portugal, também está sol, por isso com preto fico com um pouco demasiado calor.

Obviamente, optei pelas minhas calças de ganga slouchy - sou apaixonada por este estilo -, pus um body canelado que tem cordões para um toque sexy e depois vesti o blazer para abraçar o look arrojado, mas tornando-o elegante. O material do blazer é meio acetinado e leve.

Posso dizer que com preto é ousado ou sexy ou um pouco dos dois, mas mais nenhum estilo, a sério. Eu prefiro mais rock, por isso escolhi calçar botas, mas salto alto ficaria lindo.

 Monday: Today I woke up at 6a.m. to get to class at 8a.m. and it was still so dark outside. Even when I was at the train station, waiting, the sun hadn't still risen and the lamps were still on. Honestly, it look very beautiful and peaceful. It was also a nice cold breeze. The colder days are coming and I can't wait.

Segunda: Hoje acordei às 6 da manhã - as minhas aulas começam às 8 da manhã - e ainda estava escuro lá fora. Até quando estava na estação de comboio, à espera, o sol ainda não tinha nascido e os candeeiros estavam ligados. Honestamente, era muito bonito e pacífico. Os dias mais frios estão a chegar e eu mal posso esperar.

Tuesday: This day was so much fun. Me and my group went out to work on one of our university projects. The weather was so nice, the sun was shinning so brightly. Plus we were near the beach so it felt great to feel that nice salty breeze and smell the sea. I got to see such beautiful places. And I was happy.

Terça: Este dia foi muito divertido. Eu e o meu grupo saímos para trabalhar num dos nossos projetos universitários. O tempo estava tão bom, o sol estava a brilhar tão forte. Além disso, estávamos perto da praia, então foi ótimo sentir aquela brisa salgada e sentir o cheiro do mar. Pude ver lugares tão bonitos. E fiquei feliz. 

Wednesday: Me and my sister went to the cinema to watch the premiere of Last Night In Soho, and let me tell you, the movie was actually good. I didn't know much about it, so I didn't have expectations, but I quite enjoyed it. Other than that, my day was pretty chill with a productive morning.

Quarta: Eu e a minha irmã fomos ao cinema assistir a estreia de Last Night In Soho, e deixem-me dizer-vos, o filme foi realmente bom. Não sabia muito sobre ele, então não tinha expectativas, mas gostei bastante. Fora isso, o meu dia foi bem normal, com uma manhã produtiva. 

Thursday: Honestly, my thursday are pretty much all about school. I start at 11a.m. and finish at 6p.m. so there's not much going one. Nevertheless, it wasn't totally boring, specially because me and my friends made progress on our university project. And than arriving home after a long day feels really nice.

Quinta: Honestamente, a minha quinta-feira é basicamente escola. Eu começo às 11h e termino às 18h, então não há muita coisa a acontecer. No entanto, não foi totalmente chato, até porque eu e as minhas amigas avançamos no nosso projeto universitário. E o chegar a casa depois de um longo dia é muito bom. 

Friday: Went out to buy the final thing for my halloween costume and turns out both stores I went to didn't have it. Also I took some time to visit some second hand clothes stores since I was already downtown. Even though it was rainning, it was good to be outside, it wasn't too windy, I enjoyed it.

Sexta: Saí para comprar a última coisa para o meu disfarce de Halloween e descobri que as duas lojas que fui não tinham. Também aproveitei para visitar algumas lojas de roupas em segunda mão, pois já estava no centro da cidade. Mesmo a chover, foi bom estar fora de casa, não estava muito vento, eu gostei. 

Saturday: It was a rainy day again, but guess what, I went shopping again. However, this time I did buy my mask for halloween.  The sky was very gloomy but against the street lights look so beautiful - it even had a shade of pink. Other than that, very chill day, all I did in the morning was study...

Sábado: Foi um dia chuvoso de novo, mas adivinhem, fui às compras de novo. No entanto, desta vez comprei a minha máscara para o Halloween. O céu estava muito escuro, mas contra as luzes da rua parecia tão bonito - tinha até um tom de rosa. Fora isso, foi um dia calmo, tudo o que fiz de manhã foi estudar... 

Sunday: This is Halloween, this is Halloween (you sang it, didn't you?)! Because of my sister, we all celebrate this day, it's something small, is just at our house, and it's not exactly a party, but we have lots of foods and drinks and we do movie night - this year was time for VHS. Btw, guess my costume!

Domingo: "This is Halloween, this is Halloween" (cantaram, não cantaram?)! Por causa da minha irmã, todos nós comemoramos este dia, é uma coisa pequena, é só na nossa casa, e não é exatamente uma festa, mas temos muita comida e bebida e fazemos noite de cinema - este ano foi a vez do VHS. A propósito, adivinhem quem sou! 

I've been using this product for, maybe, six months (not certain), and now the cream it's almost at the end so I can now give firmly an opinion. Without giving too much it's a nice review.

According to their website this product is vegan and cruelty-free, also fragrance-free, ideal for combination skin, can be used in the morning and at night - it's an everyday use -, and it's supposed to strengthen the skin barrier. 

In terms of the ingredients, the key ones are the Centella Asiatica Extract (50%) that "soothes and relieves the irritated skin", the Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid and Ceramide, "which helps strengthen the skin barrier" and Niacinamide (2%), helping with brightening the skin.

Eu ando a usar este produto há, talvez, seis meses (sem certeza), e agora que o creme já está quase no fim, sinto que já posso dar uma opinião firme. Sem dizer muito é uma boa opinião.

De acordo com o site da marca, este produto é vegan e não testa em animais, não tem fragrância, é ideal para pele mista, pode ser utilizado de manhã e à noite - todo o dia -, e é suposto fortalecer a barreira da pele.

Em termos de ingredientes, os chaves são o Extrato de Centella Asiatica (50%) que "acalma e alivia a pele irritada", o Asiaticosídeo, Ácido Asiático, Ácido Madecássico e Ceramida, "que ajudam a fortalecer a barreira da pele" e a Niacinamida (2%), ajuda no aclareamento da pele.

As for my opinion, I have to say that it's probably my favourite morning cream until now. Side note that I like to always keep trying new products so I may not re-buy the second I finish one. 

I'm someone that in the morning only uses two products. Moisturizer and sunscreen. So I want my cream to be very hydrating and with some other aditional properties - they don't have to be super powerful since the main skincare routine is at night - like strengthing/plumping and restoring the barrier (since I'll be outside in a more agressive environment), if it has healing properties the better. And this cream does just enough for me to love it.

It's simple, light-medium thickness, but absorves super quick, leaves the skin smooth and with an healthy look. And overall, I never felt the need to put something more in the morning. It works good with makeup too. At the end of the day, I feel like my skin looks the same as in the morning, in a good way. It's not red, it's still soft and sometimes it looks even brighter (helps with my acne and acne scars/dark spots and with evening the complexion).

If I'd recommend? Absolutely. Not only the brand is very environment and animal friendly, but the product itself does exactly what they promise - controls the oilness and actively helps with strengthening and brightening.

Quanto à minha opinião, tenho de dizer que é provavelmente o meu creme favorito, até aos dias de hoje, para utilizar de manhã. Nota à parte, eu gosto de experimentar novos produtos por isso eu posso não recomprar assim que acabo um.

Eu sou alguém que de manhã apenas utiliza dois produtos: creme e protetor solar. Por isso, eu quero que o meu creme seja bastante hidratante e com algumas propriedades adicionais - não precisam de ser super potentes, para isso existe a rotina da noite - como por exemplo, fortalecer/plumping e restaurar a barreira (visto que vou estar ao ar livre, num ambiente mais agressivo), se tiver propriedades curativas melhor. E este hidratante faz o necessário para eu o amar.

É simples, de espessura leve-média, mas absorve rapidamente, deixa a pele macia e com um ar saudável. E no geral, nunca senti que precisava de utilizar mais alguma coisa de manhã. Funciona com maquilhagem também. No final do dia, eu sinto que a minha pele está a mesma, no bom sentido. Não está vermelha, continua macia e por vezes noto a pele mais radiante (ajuda com o meu acne e cicatrizes/ manchas e com a uniformidade da pele).

Se recomendo? Absolutamente. Não só a marca é amiga dos animais e ambiente, mas o produto faz exatamente aquilo que diz - controla a oleosidade e ajuda ativamente com o fortalecimento e o clareamento.
