It was so difficult for me to find orange pieces, honestly I had none in my wardrobe which was so crazy for me, I totally thought that I had some top, but none - it's probably the only colour I don't have in my clothes.

However, I got the pieces, and, honestly, I'm not mad at the result. It's not 100% what I had in mind, I definitely think that I'm going to buy more stuff in orange, because it's such a beautiful and happy colour.

Foi-me muito difícil encontrar peças laranja, a sério, eu não tinha nada no meu armário, o que foi muito surpreendente, eu pensei mesmo que tinha alguma blusa, mas não - é provavelmente a única cor que eu não tenho em nenhuma peça minha.

No entanto, eu consegui roupa, e, honestamente, não estou triste com o resultado. Não é 100% o que eu tinha em mente, e eu definitivamente vou compra mais coisas em laranja, porque é uma cor lindíssima e muita feliz.

As you can see, what I came up with was a more streetwear vibe, not personally what I wear in my daily basis, but it's a way to find new interests and maybe new combination in my clothes. Funny enough, is that any of these pieces are mine: the top is from my dad and the pants are from my sister, but they work!

Honestly, my only fear with this outfit was "I don't want it to look like a prison uniform". And I think it doesn't look like one, even though I could've made it look like it, if I want it. 

Overall, I actually like it. The jeans are my style, very baggy, very vibrant and retro; the t-shirt is loose, airy and gives a natural e active vibe; and with the right accesories looks like I came from a 50's retro party, which I'm not mad about. But I admit, I would probably, now, change the t-shirt for a more elegant string top with a more cute design.

Como podem ver, o que eu consegui foi um look mais streetwear, não é pessoalmente o que eu visto no meu dia-a-dia, mas é sempre bom encontrar novos interesses e experimentar novas combinações com as minhas roupas. O engraçado é que nenhuma peça é minha: a t-shirt é do meu pai e as calças são da minha irmã, mas funcionam!

Honestamente, o meu único medo era "eu não quero que parece um uniforme de prisão". E eu acho que consegui não parecer um, embora eu poderia ter feito parecer, se quisesse.

No geral, eu gosto. As calças são o meu estilo, bastante largas, vibrante e retro; a t-shirt é larga, arejada e dá um ar natural e ativo; e com os acessórios corretos parece que eu sai de uma festa retro dos anos 50, o que não fico nada zangada. Mas admito que provavelmente, agora, mudaria o top para uma mais elegante - talvez um top de alças finas com um desenho mais fofo.

 I actually can't believe I'm doing this post, I'm really going to give you outfit ideas for a 2000's look - that problematic era where low rise jeans and t-shirt crop tops were so in, not forgetting the blue eyeshadow.

However, I tried to take a twist, a modern one, to the old Y2K outfits. All the pieces are something that I wear and really like and the outfits itself I also wear them like that.

Eu não consigo acreditar que estou a escrever este post, eu estou realmente a dar-vos ideias de outfits dos anos 2000 - aquela época problemática das calças de cintura baixa, t-shirt curtas e não esquecendo da sombra azul.

No entanto, eu tentei dar um twist, um moderno, ao Y2K antigo. Todas as peças são algo que eu usaria e que gosto mesmo, e também os próprios visuais eu usá-los-ia totalmente.

For the outfits, I only created two with the clothes from YESSTYLE, however I could've done a lot more if I used one of the pieces with the clothes I already own, but to be fair I only used yesstyle pieces (not counting shoes and jewelry).

The first one, it's a more spring outfit and it's a little more tone down, I think, even though my top is completely mesh. The key point of this outfit, it's definitely the pants, they are so year 2000's that kind of straight leg jeans with a bit of bell at the end, and a more loose size at the waist, they breathe out 2000's. 

Overall, you can put any top plus a baggy blazer and I would tell you you are a modern version of the 00's. And honestly, I living for it!

Relativamente aos looks, eu apenas criei dois com as roupas da YESSTYLE, contudo eu poderia ter feito mais se utilizasse peças que eu já tenho, mas para ser justa apenas usei peças de lá (não contando sapatos e bijuteria).

O primeiro é mais primaveril e é mais escondido, eu acho, mesmo o top sendo transparente. A chave deste visual é definitivamente as calças, elas são tão anos 2000, aquele tipo de perna reta com mais abertura no fim da perna, e as calças na cintura são um pouco mais largas - elas inspiram 2000's.

No geral, vocês podem pôr qualquer blusa com um blazer largo e eu diria logo que era uma versão moderna dos 00's. E honestamente, eu estou a viver para isso!

The second, it's a lot more summery and just gives a very cool, sort of casual hot vibes. I very surprised of how much I like it, to be honest. It's not necessarily my style, but I feel good in it. I overall prefer midi skirts, I just feel like it gives me a more mature look without making me look short, or even shorter. The tie-dye green also looks amazing, and it's good material (all of the things were better than I thought). The top is very sweet and has that cute little ribbon bow, that really gives the 2000's look for me.

O segundo é muito mais para o verão e tem um visual mais fixe, uma mistura de casual e "hot vibes". Estou bastante surpresa com o quanto eu gosto, para ser sincera. Não é necessariamente o meu estilo, mas sinto-me tão bem nele. De forma geral, prefiro saias midi, eu sinto que me dá um look mais maduro não me retirando altura, ou pelo menos não me fazendo mais pequena. O tie-dye verde é lindo, e a saia é de bom material (todas as peças são de melhor qualidade do que eu pensei). O top é delicioso, com um lacinho de fita no centro, que me dá tanto a sensação do ano que eu nasci.

Olá! Já há algum tempo, marcas cruelty-free têm vindo a ser cada vez mais importantes. Especialmente com a curta-animação Save Ralph, toda a gente ficou mais consciente do problema. Então, uma vez que eu apoio totalmente as marcas que não testam em animais, basicamente é só o que uso, decidi fazer esta lista com as marcas de self-care para, talvez, vos ajudar (entendam self-care como champô, condicionador, gel de banho, creme corporal, desodorizante, pasta e escova de dentes, etc.)

If you look closely to some of my posts here or on social media, it's no secret that one of the things that I love is working out and I do workout 6 days a week. As I usually say, I have the energy of a small child so everyday I have the need to be active and actually waste all of it.

So, why talk about this program? Well, one of the things that I don't do that well is having a more strict diet (and listen, I don't mean not eating anything sweet or with gluten or dairy, but me more moderate), and that's what I did these two weeks - my meals were all greens, dairy-free, glute-free and sugar-free - plus my usual workout. 

NOTE: Cassey Ho (aka Blogilates) has a pdf explainning everything, but it's in english. In case you need the recipes to be in portuguese I did translate the recipes part, so ask me.

Se darem uma olhadela a alguns dos meus posts aqui ou nas redes sociais, não é segredo nenhum que uma das coisas que adoro é exercício físico e eu faço-o 6 dias por semana. Como costumo dizer, eu tenho a energia de uma criança pequena, por isso todos os dias eu tenho a necessidade de estar ativa e mesmo gastar toda a energia.

Então, porquê falar sobre este programa? Bem, uma das coisas que eu não sou boa a manter uma dieta (ouçam, eu não digo não comer nenhum doce ou com glúten ou lactose, mas mais moderado), e foi isso que fiz nestas duas semanas - as minhas refeições foram verdes, sem-lactose, sem-glúten e sem açúcares adicionados - mais o meu exercício habitual.

NOTA: Cassey Ho (aka Blogilates) tem um pdf a explicar tudo, mas está em inglês. No caso de precisarem das receitas em português, eu traduzi essa parte, por isso podem pedir.

To start my opinion, I have to say that overall it was a good experience, and I totally believe it gives good results, specially for people that are starting their healthy lifestyle (workout + food) journey, because it gives you great workouts, that requires 30 minutes, which is very duable, and really delicious foods.

Now, for my personal experience: First I need to say that I'm someone that has a pretty healthy lifestyle - I mean, I workout 6 days a week and the food I eat is getting healthier everyday (remider that I do not eat meat), even though I do get sometimes too excited with sweets and chips. 

Second, this program was great in terms of finding new foods, more focus on snacks, and having a better control of how much I eat and reduce totally in the sweets. However, because you only have 3 days of meals, it starts to get really boring and I could sense that my body was getting/ feeling saturated. 

Third, for the workouts, it's less than I normally do, because I tend to do 50 minutes, but it was nice to kind of soften my exercises and starting to focus more in using heights and booty bands.

For my total results, I'm happy with it. I lost 1kg, I feel stronger, my control over food changed - I will eat ice cream, croissants, chocolate, but I'm starting to stop my cravings - and my water intake grow, I now drink 2 litres. Overall, it only did nice things, but I could not handle eating the same thing all over again. So my recommendation is follow the program, but if you are able to get your hands on her 90 day meal plan, because I'm totally sure it will be helpful, speacially, again, if you are starting.

Para começar a minha opinião, tenho de dizer que no geral foi uma boa experiência e eu acredito totalmente que se consegue bons resultados, especialmente para pessoas que estão a começar o seu caminho num modo de vida mais saudável (exercício + comida), porque vos dá muito bons exercícios, que apenas requerem 30 minutos, e comida deliciosa.

Agora, a minha experiência pessoal: primeiro tenho de referir que eu sou alguém que já tem um modo de vida bastante saudável - eu faço exercício 6 dias por semana e a minha comida fica todos os dias mais saudável  (lembrete que eu não como carne), mesmo que algumas vezes me entusiasme com doces e batatas fritas.

Segundo, este programa é muito bom em termos de encontrar novas comidas, para mim mais os lanchinhos, e ter um melhor controlo sobre quanto comemos e reduzir os doces. No entanto, porque só temos três dias de comidas, começa a ser aborrecido e consegui sentir o meu corpo a ficar saturado.

Terceiro, os vídeos de exercícios, é menos do que eu normalmente faço, porque usualmente faço 50 minutos, mas foi bom para suavizar os exercícios, e focar-me mais em usar pesos e bandas elásticas.

Para os meus resultados finais, eu estou contente. Perdi um 1kilo, eu sinto-me mais forte, o meu controlo em relação à comida mudou - eu vou comer gelados, croissants, chocolate, mas consigo parar os meus desejos - e a água que bebo aumentou, bebo agora 2 litros. No geral, apenas fez coisas boas, mas eu já não conseguia continuar a comer as mesmas coisas. Por isso, a minha recomendação é seguir o plano sim, mas se puderem adquirir o plano de refeições de 90 dias, façam-no, porque será com certeza de grande ajuda, especialmente, outra vez, se estão a começar.

 And it's the beginning of a new month, and that means it's time for another monochromatic outfit! I've to be honest, I've been quite busy with university - I have a pratical subjects that require a final project and that takes a lot of my time - but I'm still trying to give you good content, however sometimes I just really talk about my day-to-day things (hope you don't mind).

E é o começo de um novo mês, e isso quer dizer que está na altura para outro outfit monocromático! Tenho de ser honesta, tenho estado bastante ocupada com a universidade - eu tenho cadeiras práticas que requerem um projeto final e isso tira-me muito tempo - mas eu tento continuar a dar-vos bom conteúdo, no entanto às vezes eu apenas falo sobre coisas que me acontecem no dia-a-dia (espero que não se importem).

Now for the outfit, it was actually something I was finally able to wear. A dress, in May, finally. The weather wasn't been that good, and while I'm writing it's quite cold, but believe it I wore it, and felt so nice.

The outfit itself is really simple. The dress by itself has already a lot, so I didn't want to look that it's to loaded. And also, red stuff is not that easy to find, can you believe? - at least, not something that I quite liked.

In a general look, you can totally see that I don't have that many (red) pieces, but the trick here is go for just a few pieces, but those are very impactful and don't look simple at all. Take the dress I'm wearing as an example, is just one piece, however the pattern is very full, has a belt, the buttons are actually very peculiar but fit so well, and the most important it has pockets - that's what makes it different.

The rest, just makes the style you want - are you feeling more casual, more chic, more rock... It's for that that you add accessories, and that's kind of how you chose the shoes, and so on.

Agora sobre o visual, foi por acaso algo que eu finalmente pude vestir. Um vestido, em Maio, finalmente. O clima não tem estado muito bom, e enquanto escrevo isso está até frio, mas acreditem que eu o vesti, e soube tão bem.

O outfit por si só é simples. O vestido já tem bastante, e eu não queria que parece-se demasiado pesado. E também, peças vermelhas são difíceis de encontrar, acreditam? - pelo menos, não coisas que eu gosta-se. 

De forma geral, podem ver que eu não tenho muitas peças vermelhas, mas o truque é conseguir poucas peças, mas essas são impactantes e não se pareçam simples. Tenho o meu vestido como exemplo, é apenas uma peça, no entanto o padrão é bastante "cheio", tem um cinto, os botões são até peculiares, mas combinam bem, e o mais importante tem bolsos - isso é o que o torna diferente.

O resto, só o torna no estilo que querem - estão-se a sentir mais casuais, mais chiques, mais rock... É para isso que adicionamos acessórios, e é dessa forma, mais ou menos, que eu também escolho os sapatos, e outras coisas.

 Yes, you read the tittle right. I made it to university, as in we were finally in a classroom, and because of that I had to do my first covid-19 test - and yes, it was my first time.

Honestly, I was kind of nervous to do it, because it does look a bit scary when you think about it and see it on tv - they literally put something inside your nose until hits almost the back of your throat. wow. But, actually, it wasn't that hard. I also had very nice people doing me the test, which calm me. The thing that made some tears in my eyes was the fact that they have to twist the swab inside, and that really tickled me and left a bit of an impression. The rest - the in and out - for me was pretty easy. Yes, you feel it, but it doesn't hurt nor did it was hard.

Gadly, it was negative. So I finally was able to have classes in my university, and not at home. I was quite excited, so I had to use some outfit that would show my confidence and happiness - even though it wasn't the most colourful, I indeed was feeling myself.

Sim, leram o título corretamente. Eu cheguei à universidade, como nós estamos finalmente nas salas de aula, e por causa disso eu tive de fazer o meu primeiro teste à covid-19, sim foi a minha primeira vez.

Honestamente, eu estava um pouco nervosa, porque quando vemos na televisão parece um pouco assustador, se pensarmos bem - eles poem literalmente algo dentro do nosso nariz até tocar no fundo da nossa garganta. uau. Mas, na realidade, não foi tão difícil. Eu também tive pessoas muito simpáticas a assistirem-me, o que me acalmou. O que me fez algumas lágrimas nos olhos foi o facto de terem de torcer a zaragatoa lá dentro, e isso fez me muita comichão, e deixou uma impressão. O resto - o entrar e sair - para mim foi bastante fácil. Sim, sente-se, mas não dói nem me custou.

Felizmente, foi negativo. Por isso, finalmente entrei nas salas de aula da minha universidade, e não fiquei por casa. Eu estava entusiasmada, por isso decidi usar um outfit em que mostra-se a minha confiança e felicidade - mesmo não sendo o mais colorido, eu estava-me a sentir.

By the photos, you can see that I went for a lot of black for someone that was so happy (and loves colour), but remember that I was also feeling myself - and black represents elegancy. 

I decided by going with a neutral "canvas" because I knew that I wanted to use my lilac cowboy boots, and I wanted them to be the key point. So black was a strategical choice. Obviously, you can go without the long sleeve that I have underneath.

Since I needed some thing more to make the pink/purple colour stand out, I chose a t-shirt that had similar colours but more muted. And to really go along with the boots I went for my most lilac tote bag (which it was my first time using it).

Pelas fotos, podem ver que eu fui com muito preto para uma pessoa que estava tão feliz (e que adora cores), mas lembrem-se que eu também me estava a sentir - e preto representa elegância.

Eu decidi ir por uma "tela" neutra porque eu sabia que eu queria usar as minhas botas cowboy lilás, e queria que elas fossem o aspeto principal. Então preto foi uma escolha estratégica. Obviamente, que podem ir sem a blusa de manga comprida por baixo.

Uma vez que eu precisava de algo para destacar a cor rosa/roxo, escolhi uma t-shirt que tinha cores similares mas mais apagadas. E para ajudar ainda mais o destacar das botas, optei pela mala de pano mais lilás que tinha (que foi a primeira vez que utilizei).

 Yesterday, as you probably know, it was the award show the Oscars, and since I can't even the remember what was the day I last did something like this (which, btw, I think it was Teen Choice Awards), I decided to do again, especially because it wasn't online, so I was very excited.

The Oscars Red Carpet ceremony was a bit disappointing to be honest. A lot of people went very simple, but a very uninteresting simple. If you watch it, you could tell that mostly everyone was wearing black, then some reds and golds, not much fun colours going on, so I didn't appreciate much - but I definitely have my favourites, including two men.

Ontem, como devem saber, foram os Óscares, e uma vez que já não sei quando foi a última vez que fiz algo deste género (o que acho que foi os Teen Choice Awards), decidi fazer outra vez, especialmente porque não foi online, e isso deixou me entusiasmada.

A passadeira vermelha dos Óscares foi um pouco desapontante, sinceramente. Tanta gente foi simples, mas um simples desinteressante. Se estiveram atentos, a maioria das pessoas foi de preto, algumas de vermelho e outras de dourado, não havia cores mais vibrantes, por isso não gostei muito - mas definitivamente tenho os meus favoritos, incluindo dois homens.

All about her style was magnificent, I really like how put together she was - the hair, jewelry even the sunglasses, makeup, I like the hood. And don't even get me started on that detail and colour, so delicate and stunning. Not to forget that she went for pants.

Tudo do estilo dela é magnífico, eu gosto bastante de como tudo se mistura - o cabelo, os acessórios até os óculos de sol, maquilhagem, gosto do capuz. E nem me deixem começar nos detalhes e a cor, tão delicado e esplêndido. Não esquecendo que ela escolheu calças.

She was one of the first that I saw and loved it, especially when I noticed that it wasn't a dress but a two piece set. Even though it was gold, I really like how it blended perfectly with her skin tone, and the structure of the skirt was so well thought and ball-gowny. Perfect.

Ela foi uma das primeiras que eu vi e apaixonei-me, especialmente quando reparei que não era um vestido, mas sim um conjunto de duas peças. Mesmo sendo dourado, gostei muito da forma como a cor da pele não contrastava muito com a roupa, e a estrutura da saia foi tão bem pensada. Perfeito.

Just a reminder that Regina King has 50 years and her waist is more snatched than mine. When I saw it I was mesmerized, it look so estravagant on her, it work wonders in her body - the sleeves, the cleavage, the way it molds her body. She couldn't have decided a more "made for her" dress.

Apenas um lembrete de que a Regina King tem 50 anos e a cintura dela é mais estreita do que a minha. Quando a vi eu fiquei hipnotizada, tão extravagante mas funciona tão bem no corpo dela - as mangas, o decote, a forma como molda o corpo. Ela não podia ter decidido um vestido mais para ela.

Amanda Seyfried always looks stunning, but this 90's hair with the tule red dress really worked for me. The way that hugs her hips but then opens really was a great idea. And the top part was very original, I have never seen a cleavage and "heart" shape neck that goes like this. Truly original and beautiful.

A Amanda Seyfried está sempre linda, mas o cabelo a anos 90 e o vestido de tule funcionou muito bem. A forma como abraça as ancas, mas depois abre foi uma ideia excelente. E a parte de cima é tão original, nunca vi um decote e um corte em "coração" que abrisse assim. Realmente original e bonito.

It's the only male that I thought that went out of the norm with his style. Not only is a jumpsuit, but it's a very elegant, old school one: with the shirt underneath and the bell bottoms. It really worked for me. It was stylish and different, no tux. You know, it kind of represent is movie.

É o único masculino que eu pensei que saiu fora da norma. Não é apenas um macacão, como é muito elegante, assim old school: com uma camisa por baixo e as calças à boca de sino. Funcionou muito bem nele. Era estiloso e diferente, não smoking. Representa bem a época do filme dele.

I can't deny that I was also attracted to his cuteness, but let's be real here, he was also very different in the way they styled his tux - not only it is shorts, but he has high knee socks that are different from each other, which gives some sort of tension in his look, in a good way.

Não posso mentir que fui um pouco atraída pela fofura, mas vamos ser reais, ele estava diferente na forma como mudou o típico smoking - tinha calções, e ainda escolheram meias até aos joelhos que até eram diferentes, e por isso criavam uma certa tensão, no bom sentido.

She's in my list in a sort of honorable mention because she was one of the few that actually risked it and went with a bright neon yellow dress, which I don't dislike - I like the bottom, but I'm still unsure of the top part (the circle opening and the bra part, don't know if it suits her). However, I'm obsessed with the jewelry, it's so gorgeous, especially combine with her natural makeup and hair.
