It's been awhile since I did a review on a skincare product (or in any product overall). To be fair, the new products that I have I'm still trying them on. Since I'm not very keen in first impressions, I think it's better to use it for a couple of months.

The product I'm going to talk about is one that I've been using for several months. The amount of product is so much that I share it with my sister and we still have it after 4 months. I'm talking about the Superfood Cleanser from Youth To The People.

According to their website it's a "powerful, but gentle daily face wash, formulated with superfood antioxidants from kale, spinach, and green tea - to give your skin the ultimate cleanse". It claims that it is made of 100% vegan ingredients, the packaging is recyclable and it's cruelty-free, no parabens or sulfates. Just like the product, the brand - Youth to the People - is also cruelty-free and sustainable.

Já faz algum tempo desde que dei a minha opinião acerca de um produto de pele (ou outro qualquer produto no geral). Para ser honesta, os novos produtos que tenho, ainda estou a experimentar. Como não gosto muito de primeiras impressões, acho melhor usá-lo por alguns meses.

O produto que vos vou falar é um que ando a usar já há alguns meses. A quantidade de produto é tanta que mesmo partilhando com a minha irmã, ainda tenho mesmo já utilizando à 4 meses. Estou a falar do Gel de Limpeza Superfood da Youth To The People.

De acordo com o site deles é um gel de limpeza de rosto diário "poderoso, mas suave, formulado com antioxidantes super-alimentos de couve, espinafre e chá verde - para dar à pele a melhor limpeza". Afirma que é feito com ingredientes 100% veganos, a embalagem é reciclável e é livre de crueldade animal, sem parabenos ou sulfatos. Assim como o produto, a marca - Youth to the People - também é cruelty-free e sustentável.

I love this cleanser. From the other 4 that I've used (and remember), this one is by far my favourite. I believe it will differ on your skin type and preference on how you like to feel your skin afterwards. They don't specify for what skin types the product is for, but mine is combination to oily, and it cleans my face wonderfully.

I use it once a day, at night, after my makeup remover, which is normally a cleansing oil. You don't need to use a lot of the product, because with wet hands it makes a lot of foam with little quantity. In terms of fragance, it has a nice one, but it's not too powerful. The consistency it's gel like. Not irritating at all.

I don't feel my skin striped out of my natural oils and, to be honest, it leaves it smooth, bright and plumped. Not counting the days that I'm on my period, I believe the cleanser also helps with my acne, not necessarily blackheads, my uneven skintone and dullness.

It's a bit expensive, it's around 31€ - I bought mine on sephora - and it's usually out of stock (the bigger size), but it's totally worth it. It lasts a long long time and does it job really well.

Eu adoro este gel de limpeza. Dos outros 4 que usei (e que me lembro), este é de longe o meu favorito. Acredito que atuará de forma diferente consoante o tipo de pele e depende da vossa preferência em termos de como gostam de sentir a pele depois. Eles não especificam para quais tipos de pele o produto é, mas a minha é mista a oleosa e limpa o meu rosto maravilhosamente.

Uso uma vez por dia, à noite, após o desmaquilhante, que normalmente é um óleo desmaquilhador. Não precisam de usar muito, pois com as mãos molhadas faz muita espuma com pouca quantidade. Em termos de fragrância, tem um bom cheiro, mas não é muito intenso. A consistência é tipo gel. E não irrita.

Não sinto a minha pele despida dos óleos naturais e, para ser sincera, deixa-a suave, luminosa e "cheia". Sem contar os dias em que estou com o período, acredito que o gel também ajuda o meu acne, não necessariamente com os pontos negros, e o meu tom de pele irregular e sem brilho.

É um pouco caro, custa cerca de 31€ - comprei o meu na sephora - e normalmente está esgotado (o tamanho maior), mas vale muito a pena. Dura muito tempo e funciona muito bem.
