I don't know about you, but for me the fourties are not that memorable. And I think it's because the fashion didn't change much, obviously that are some differences, but overall, the previous outfit could work too. From what I could find the 1940s fashion is characterized by knee-length dresses or two-pieces (coat plus skirt) and they are colourful with some minimal patterns, like flowers. The hats were still used, but they are not the main atraction anymore.

Eu não sei quanto a vocês, mas para mim os anos 40 não são muito memoráveis. E eu penso que é porque a moda da época não mudou muito, obviamente que tem algumas diferenças, mas no geral, o outfit anterior funcionaria também. Do que eu consegui encontrar, a moda de 1940 é caracterizada pelos vestidos até ao joelho ou two-pieces (casaco mais saia) e são coloridos com padrões minimalistas, como flores. Os chapéus ainda se usam, porém já não são a atração principal.

As you can see, it's a very simple and easy to put on outfit. But because it's belted and has colour and pattern it looks way more intriguing that it actually is. My look overall is very spring, so I went with a lightweight, flowery dress. I don't have any tights, but you can put some transparent ones. For the shoes, I used the same as the 20s ones, and for jewelry I focus more on hair pieces and on the necklace, minimalist but with personality.

Como podem ver, é muito simples e fácil de criar um visual. Mas uma vez que tem cinto e cores e padrão, parece muito mais intrigante do que realmente é. O visual de uma maneira geral é bastante primaveril, por isso escolhi um vestido leve e com padrão floral. Eu não tenho nenhumas collants, mas vocês podem utilizar umas transparentes. Para os sapatos, utilizei os mesmo dos anos 20 e para acessórios foquei-me mais em peças para o cabelo e num colar minimalista, mas que tivesse "pesonalidade".
