I had a very difficult time choosing what theme I would do this year. In 2020, I did outfits according to my planner, in 2021 I did monochromatic looks and in 2022 I'm going to do yearly outfits. What I mean by that? Well, each month I will do an inspired look on an specific decade, starting on 1910s. Some may be very similar to each other and others may be very different from the actual decade, but this is actually a challenge, I'm looking foward to it.

For january the 1910s are in. It was not easy at all to find something on my closet that even went near the style of this decade, but I hope I did a good job. In these years what really stand out was the big hats, the skirts above the ankle and the curved heels (specially boots).

Foi muito difícil escolher um tema para este tema. Em 2020, conjuguei outfits de acordo com a minha agenda, em 2021, fiz visuais monocromáticos e em 2022 vou fazer outfits de épocas. O que quero dizer com isso? Bem, cada mês será um visual inspirado numa década em específico, a começar pelos anos 1910s. Alguns vão ser semelhantes entre si e outros vão ser diferentes da década atual, mas vai ser mesmo um desafio, que por acaso estão entusiasmada para tentar.

Para janeiro, os anos 1910 estão na moda. Não foi nada fácil encontrar algo no meu armário que se assemelhasse ao estilo desta época, mas espero ter feito um bom trabalho. Nestes anos, a moda era grandes chapéus, saias acima dos tornozelos e saltos curvos (especialmente botas).

I don't really now if you can see the 1910 vibes, but it was the best I could do. At first, I wanted a brighter in colour look, but these piece of clothes were the best I had that also look good with each other.

The skirt is not the midi length, but I think it does the job. It has a pattern, gives dimension to the outfit and goes really well with the black blazer - which had to be a blazer because of the shoulder pads. I also wore a normal turtleneck and added a necklace for more elegancy. The boots needed to be pointy and I put on some socks, that you can see, because I thought it gives a modernized touch. 

All of it is an inspired, modernized take on the 1910s fashion. Plus, I end up liking it. I feel like an old fashion, classy women from Peaky Blinders.

Eu não sei se conseguem ver as semelhanças aos anos 1910, mas foi o melhor que eu consegui fazer. Primeiro, eu queria fazer um visual mais colorido, mas estas eram as melhores peças que eu tinha e que ficavam bem umas com as outras.

A saia não é de tamanho midi, mas eu acho que faz bem o seu trabalho. Tem um padrão que dá outra dimensão ao outfit e fica muito bem com o blazer preto - que tinha mesmo de ser o blazer por causa do enchumaço. Eu usei uma gola alta normal e adicionei um colar para um toque mais elegante. As botas tinham de ser bicudas à frente e eu ainda calcei umas meias, porque acho que dá um toque modernizado.

Todo isto é uma versão modernizada e inspirada no estilo dos anos 1910. Ainda mais, eu acabei por gostar do resultado. Sinto-me uma mulher old fashion com classe, vinda da série Peaky Blinders.
