Since I'm from Portugal, ordering from USA websites is kind of a challenge because I don't know if it's going to stop at customs and then I have to pay more, so I always do it with a bit of apprehension. And also because I have believe some people have the same apprehensiveness, I decided that it's should be a good thing to share, my experience with ordering on Tarte, a cruelty-free brand.

Uma vez que sou de Portugal, fazer compras em sites dos EUA é um pouco desafiador porque nunca sei se vai parar na alfândega ou não, e depois terei de pagar mais, assim eu faço as coisas um pouco a receio. E também acredito que algumas pessoas têm a mesma apreensão que eu, então decidi que partilhar a minha experiência a encomendar na Tarte, uma marca cruelty-free, seria um boa coisa.
First of all, I need to say that the system that Tarte works with is very nice, because the more you do on the website (and also the more you order) the more you get points to trade with rewards, in that case I trade with a travel size mascara, which is pretty nice, but you have all sort of stuffs depending on the amount of points (I really wanted the tote bag).
Second thing that is great is that they give you a sample in every order, and that you can choose as well from 5 samples, more or less. It's in this that I chose the tarte moisturizer.
Third, is the bad thing, is that you pay shipping unless you waste 80$. I was lucky because at the time, and they do regular promotions through out the year, they has free shipping in all orders in that day.

Primeiramente, tenho de dizer que o sistema da Tarte é muito bom porque quanto mais fazes no site (incluindo encomendas) mais pontos recebes, os quais podes trocar por recompensas, neste caso eu troquei o meus por um rímel de tamanho para viagem, o que é bastante bom, mas ponde trocar por diversas coisas dependendo dos pontos que têm (eu queria tanto a mala de pano).
A segunda coisa que é boa é que em todas as compras oferecem uma amostra, e essa também podem escolher mas entre umas 5. Foi aí que escolhi o creme de rosto da tarte.
Em terceiro, a coisa má, é que se paga shipping a não ser que se gaste 80$. Eu tive sorte porque no momento, e eles fazem promoções regularmente durante todo o ano, eles tinham shipping grátis em todas as encomendas daquele dia.
In terms of there sending process is incredible, and I really mean it. They sent me right on the first business day and sent me as well the tracking link. Really, never had a problem, I knew exactly where my order was all the time, and it only took two weeks to arrive here, at my door. It didn't stop at customs and when was the day of arriving they sent me an e-mail the day before saying that they were going to deliever it.
The packaging is super cute, a little bit squashed but ok, well wrapped, nothing was broken in super good state. They even gave me a cute little card with a 15%off.
Definitely recommend it, amazing work, but obviously I didn't pay a huge amount, for you too have an idea, I only paid for the palette and it was 28€.

Em termos de processo de envio, foi incrível, estou a ser sincera. Eles enviaram longo no dia útil a seguir e mandaram-me logo o link para acompanhamento. Honestamente, nunca tive nenhum problema, eu sabia exatamente onde a minha encomenda estava, e o melhor só demorou duas semanas a chegar, à minha porta. Não parou na alfândega e no dia antes de chegar mandaram-me um e-mail a dizer que iam entregar amanhã.
O empacotamento é super fofo, estava um pouco esmagado mas bom, bem embrulhado, nada estava partido, em super bom estado. Eles ainda me mandaram um cartão fofinho com 15%off.
Definitivamente recomendo, trabalho de louvar, mas obviamente eu não paguei muito, para terem uma ideia, só paguei a paleta e foi 28€.
