"Wuthering Heights" is an Emily Brontë novel. Her story focus on the stormy events that happend through the years between the love of Heathcliff, and orphan, and Catherine Earnshaw, a girl with higher level on the society.

The main theme of the book, contrasting with what people may think, is the ability to hate, and how dark a powerful passion can lead some to revenge as the main goal of their life.

"Monte dos Vendavais" é um romance de Emily Brontë. A sua história centra-se nos eventos tempestuosos que acontecem durante alguns anos entre o amor de Heathcliff, um orfão, e Catherine Earnshaw, uma menina de média sociedade.

O tema principal do livro, contrapondo-se ao que as pessoas podem pensar, é a habilidade de odiar, e o quão arrepiante uma paixão exagerada pode levar alguém à vingança para o resto da sua vida.

Being a really strong and ugly emotions book, one of the good strategies, is that the narrator is someone that watched the events happening but was mostly imparcial to it. So when you try to make connections with someone, you usually tend to go for the person telling the story specially because she is also narrating to someone like us. AND if you simpathize with someone at all, because the objective of it, in my eyes, is actually not to.

The goal of it is actually to shock you with the acts of them, and create angry emotions, because nothing is as pretty as what usually is shown. I really like that, I'm the type of person that loves to feel things, any emotions, from compassion to rage. 

"Wuthering Heights" is like salted chocolated, at first you feel the sweetness of it but as you go on you start the find the little bits of salt that are bold, and strong taste. However, strangely, they match.

Sendo um livro de emoções muito fortes e feias, uma das boas estratégias, é que o narrador é alguém que viu os acontecimentos mas é principalmente imparcial. Quando tentamos criar conexões com alguém, tende a ser com essa pessoa, especialmente porque está a narrar a história para alguém como nós. E se simpatizarem com alguém, porque o objetivo, nos meus olhos, é para não ter simpatia.

A finalidade é, por acaso, para chocar-nos com os seus atos, e provocar ira, porque nada é bonito como é usualmente mostrado. Eu aprecio bastante isso, sou o tipo de pessoa que vive para sentir, quaisquer emoções, desde compaixão até raiva.

"Monte dos Vendavais" é como chocolate com sal, primeiro sentimos o doce mas à medida que continuamos vamos encontrando pedaços salgados que são de sabor arrojado e forte. No entanto, estranhamente, funciona.
