I can't keep this secret to myself anymore. Creightons Salicylic Acid Foaming Clay Cleanser came to me out of nowhere and blown me away.

I decided to buy this cleanser because I was having terrible acne and all over my face, and I simply couldn't get ride of it. So, my thinking was 'let's start my skincare all over again'. First, I stop using any product one my face for around three weeks and after that I start adding to my skincare, little by little.

Also, after much research, I understood that maybe what I would do best was using salicylic acid, because it helps remove dead skin cells, keeping the pores clean, and also reduces excess oil.

Eu não posso guardar este segredo para mim. O Salicylic Acid Foaming Clay Cleanser da Creightons chegou até mim do nada e surpreendeu-me imenso.

Decidi comprar este produto de limpeza, porque estava a ter um acne terrível e por toda a minha cara, e não me conseguia livrar dele. Então, o meu pensamento foi 'vamos começar uma rotina de pele toda de novo'. Primeiro, parei de usar qualquer produto por três semanas, e depois comecei a adicionar um a um.

Simultaneamente, depois de muita pesquisa, percebi que o que podia resultar seria ácido salicílico, porque ajuda a remover células mortas, mantendo os poros limpos, e reduz o excesso de óleo. 

I randomly bought this item at Loja Normal. And I absolutely love it. In the package it says that helps "absorb excess oil and maintain healthier, clearer looking skin" and it's so true!

Since the first moment that I start using it, that I see that my skin looks better, more radiant and I rarely (right now) have acne. For time to time, I do have one or two pimples, but I believe it's hormones, because it happens when my mood is off.

Also, I really like the fact that is clay. It was weird at first, but know that I began using it as a mask almost - meaning I put it on and leave it for awhile before rinsing it - I think it works wonders. Important to mention that I use everyday at night.

Overall, for the price, you get a super nice quality cleanser, which I do truly believe it does a good job and has been helping my skin a lot. Out of 5 stars, definitely a 3.5 score.

Eu comprei este item aleatoriamente na Loja Normal. E adorei completamente. No pacote diz que ajuda a "absorver excesso de óleo e a manter um pele mais saudável e limpa" e é tão verdade!

Desde o primeiro momento que a comecei a usar, que consigo ver que a minha pele está melhor, mais radiante e raramente tenho acne. De tempos a tempos aparece me uma ou outra borbulha, mas eu acredito que é devido a hormonas, porque aparecem quando o meu humor está diferente.

Para além disso, gosto bastante do facto de ser em argila. É estranho no início, mas depois que comecei a usar como máscara - ou seja, ponho na cara e deixo atuar uns minutos antes de enxaguar - acho que trabalha eficazmente. Mencionar que eu utilizo apenas uma vez ao dia e à noite.

No geral, para o preço, é um produto de limpeza muito bom, que eu acho mesmo que faz um grande trabalho e que me ajudou na pele. Em 5 estrelas, dou 3.5 de pontuação.

But here we are for a new post and it's an outfit one, which I'm very excited about! Because it was my birthday look. It's been a while since then, but I like it so much that I had to write about it.

It's very simple pieces, it does not have that much pattern or colour, but has all the right vibes.

Sejam compreensivos comigo... Eu sei que não estou a ser muito rápida a publicar ou as postagens parecem estar desorganizadas, mas voltar depois de tanto tempo ainda é um pouco estranho. É como se eu tivesse perdido o modo automático e tenho de aprender tudo novamente.

Mas aqui estamos nós mais uma vez e para um post sobre moda, o que me deixa muito entusiasmada! Porque é o visual que utilizei nos meus anos. Já foi há algum tempo, mas gostei tanto que tenho de escrever.

São tudo peças muito simples, que não têm padrão nem muita cor, mas sim as 'vibrações' certas.

The whole look is more for the cold season, you obviously can adapt to the warmer time, by taking off the turtleneck and simply wearing the vest, but I honestly love the white underneath.

When I combined the pieces, I had a vision in mind. I want to feel like a boss of my own life and elegant at the same time. And never leaving my own spirit. So for that I wore fitting pieces with a twist. 

From the start the vest is the true star, it turns a simple black and white outfit into something interesting, specially since mine has blue settle stripes. And then the bell bottoms, again, gives it a twist. Not forgetting to metion that the platform shoes are definitely a statement too.

Todo o visual foi feito para o tempo mais frio, mas obviamente que conseguem adaptar para o clima mais quente, retirando a gola alta e ficando apenas com o colete, mas honestamente adoro o branco por baixo.

Quando combinei estas peças, eu tinha uma visão em mente. Eu queria-me sentir como a patroa da minha própria vida e elegante ao mesmo tempo. Mas nunca esquecendo o meu espírito. Por optei por peças justas com um 'twist'.

Para começar o colete é a verdadeira estrela, torna um outfit preto e branco simples em algo interessante, especialmente por o meu tem riscas subtis azuis. E depois as calças à boca de sino, outra vez, dão outro charme. Não esquecendo que os sapatos de plataforma também são um 'statement'.

Will this be my comeback? It's definitely weird to my first post after so many months... But in reality I've been posting about the Oscars since 2020, not missing a year, so I just couldn't miss this year. 

This year, I'll be honest, I stayed until the very last minute watching one of the Oscars movies so I was not paying too much attention to the red carpet.

However, it's been a couple of days already, so I had time to look at all the beautiful dresses and suits and I've made my mind already about my five favourites.

Isto vai mesmo ser o meu comeback? É um pouco estranho este ser o meu primeiro post depois de tantos meses... Mas a realidade é que escrevo sobre os Óscares desde 2020, sem faltar um ano, por isso este ano não seria a exceção.

Honestamente, este ano não estive tão atenta à passadeira vermelha, porque fiquei até ao último minuto a ver um dos filmes nomeados.

Porém, já se passaram dois dias, e eu tive tempo suficiente para avaliar todos os visuais e cheguei aos meus cinco favoritos.

Monica Barbaro

Dior really stepped it up this year on the Oscars Red Carpet. Not only Monica Barbaro was stunning in blush pink, but also Mikey Madison looked incredible. But I only chose one of them. 

What set Monica's dress apart for me was the ball gown effect, the super high waist and, if you know you can already guess it, the pockets. Obviously her minimal hair and makeup style just melted so nicely with this star of a dress.

A Dior realmente esmerou-se este ano na Red Carpet dos Óscares. Não só a Monica Barbaro está lindíssima num rosinha claro, como a Mikey Madison também estava incrível. Mas só podia escolher uma.

O que me fez escolher o vestido da Monica foi o facto de parecer um vestido de baile, ter uma cintura super alta e, se me conhecem conseguem adivinhar, ter bolsos. Óbvio que o cabelo e maquilhagem minimalista também ajudaram misturar tudo lindamente.

Selena Gomez

She was maybe the most metioned celebrity. And all because of the amazing custom made Ralph Lauren dress. She just looked amazing on. And paired it with that particular necklace was such a good idea. Selena looked modern in a old actress fashion.

Definitely the blush/nude pink was the colour this year and suited so many people. But let's not avoid the star of it all: 16000 glass droplets. An around of applause!

Ela foi talvez a celebridade mais mencionada. E tudo por causa do vestido Ralph Lauren. Ela estava simplesmente extraordinária. E combinar com aquele colar em particular foi um excelente ideia. A Selena tinha um ar moderno num visual de atriz antiga.

Definitivamente que o rosa bebé foi a cor deste ano e assentava bastantes pessoas. Mas não vamos esquecer a estrela: as 16 mil gotas de vidro. Uma salva de palmas!

Demi Moore

This will sound weird, but I can't really point it out what I like so much about this look. I honestly believe it's her that makes this Armani Privé dress stand out so much. It just goes so well with her body shape and her age.

The detail around her hips may seem odd to some, but for me makes so much sense and adds a little twist on it. The material, rather than most of using 'mirror', it's only sparkle but it has a pattern, which it makes it look different. It's almost likes pieces off silver.

Isto vai soar estranho, mas eu não consigo bem dizer o que é que eu gosto assim tanto no visual. Honestamente, eu acredito que é a Demi que faz o vestido Armani Privé sobressair. Fica mesmo muito bem com a forma do seu corpo e a sua idade.

O detalhe à volta das ancas pode parecer fora, mas adiciona outra dimensão ao vestido. O material, em vez de ser 'espelho', é apenas brilho mas tem um padrão, o que o torna original. E quase parece prata.

Whoopi Goldberg

This old lady got me so off guard and blew me away. This liquid and futuristic dress from Siriano's fall colection just made so much sense for her!

I do think it's a bit too youngish looking for her, but it matches her personality so damn well, it's unbelievable. And let's mention, again, that the of the shoulder, the corset and ball gown look with pockets will always work for me.

Esta senhora de idade apanhou-me desprevenida e deixou-me sem chão. O vestido líquido e futurístico da coleção de Siriano fez tanto sentido para ela!

Eu acho que é um pouco juvenil, mas ao mesmo tempo combina com a sua personalidade. E mencionar, outra vez, que o facto de ter os ombros de fora, o espartilho e ter um feito de baile com bolsos capta sempre o meu coração.

Colman Domingo

The only man on my list, and the man that always saves the red carpet for the masculine looks. Colman Domingo just hits it everytime, he can always set himself apart from the 'competition'. 

For this year's Oscars ceremony, the actor wore a custom made suit from Valentino. It still a normal looking pants and blazer, but the bold red gives it a different appeal and what it really seals the deal is the belt with some fringes.

O único homem na minha lista, e é sempre o homem que salva a passadeira vermelha na categoria dos visuais masculinos. O Colman Domingo consegue sempre acertar e destaca-se sempre da sua 'competição'.

Para esta cerimónia, o ator vestiu um fato feito para ele de Valentino. É normalíssimo, com calças e blazer, mas o vermelho vibrante dá outro ar e o que realmente o que o diferencia é o cinto com franjas.

These last weeks have been really stressful and full of events that I can barely have time for myself, or more like to relax properly. Since I also feel like I don't have time to think of creative ideas for the blog, I decided to the what was right in front of my nose: a day in my life.

Also, since some new things have happened in my life, I thought it would be interesting for you to know about them. Without further a do, here you have a work day in my life.

Estas últimas semanas têm sido bastante estressantes e cheias de eventos, que mal tenho tempo para mim ou melhor para descansar. Uma vez que também sinto que não tenho tempo para conseguir ideias criativas para o blogue, decidi fazer o que está mesmo em frente ao olhos: um dia na minha vida.

Assim, como também tenho coisas novas a acontecer na minha vida, consigo vos dizer o que é. Sem mais demoras, aqui fica um dia de trabalho na minha vida.

7:30 a.m.

I try to wake up at this hour everyday, if not earlier, but sometimes it's a bit difficult. But I have to, because here it's where the new thing comes up. Recently, I started interning at a magazine. Luckly it's a hybrid work, which means I can work from home most of the time.

So, I wake up around this hour so I have time to get ready, prepare breakfast and relax a little bit, for example watching a tv show or reading, before I need to go for my internship.

Eu tento acordar a esta hora todos os dias, senão mais cedo, mas às vezes é um pouco difícil. Mas tem de ser, porque é aqui que a nova coisa aparece. Recentemente, comecei a estagiar numa revista. Felizmente, é trabalho híbrido, o que quer dizer que trabalho de casa a maioria dos dias.

Por isso, acordo por volta desta hora para que tenha tempo para me arranjar, preparar o pequeno-almoço e relaxar um bocado, por exemplo ver uma serie ou ler, antes de começar o estágio.

I start my internship usually at this hour (at least for this day). Sometimes I can go earlier, sometimes a minute later, but always around this time. My intern is basically writing news for the magazine. Just that the whole morning. And that's basically it, until I decide it's lunch time.

Eu começo o meu estágio usualmente a esta hora (pelo menos neste dia). Às vezes, pode ser mais cedo, ou uns minutos mais tarde, mas sempre por volta desta hora. O meu estágio é basicamente escrever notícias para a revista. Apenas isso toda a manhã. E é basicamente isso, até eu decidir que é hora de almoço.

For today, lunch had to be around this hour because I then have my part-time job and I need to have time to eat and finish getting ready. My day at the internship finish basically now, but if I want, and sometimes I do, I work on some news after I get home.

Hoje o almoço foi a esta hora, porque tenho depois o meu part-time e preciso de tempo para comer e acabar de me arranjar. O meu dia no estágio está mais ou menos acabado, mas se eu quiser, e faço-o algumas vezes, posso trabalhar nalgumas notícias depois quando chego a casa.

On my way to my job, since I take public transport, I try to take advantage of that time. It depends of what I have to do or what I'm feeling like doing - there are days that I just want to listen to music - but normally I try to read a little bit. My part-time starts at 3p.m. and ends at 7p.m.

No caminho para o trabalho, uma vez que vou de transportes públicos, eu tento tirar vantagem disso. Depende do que me está a apetecer na altura: alguns dias posso simplesmente ir a ouvir música, mas por norma tento ler um bocado. O meu part-time começa às 15h e acaba às 19h.

When I arrive home, the first thing that I do, and it's not everyday that I feel like it, it's do my workout session. Because it's been difficult to manage everything and not get overwhelmed with everything, and even exausted, I don't workout for long, just about 30 minutes.

After that I go take a shower, put on my pajamas and get comfortable.

Quando chego a casa, a primeira coisa que faço, e não é todos os dias que me apetece, é fazer o meu treino. Visto que tem sido difícil organizar tudo e não me sentir sobrecarregada, e até mesmo exausta, não faço um treino longo, apenas 30 minutos.

Depois disso, é tomar banho, vestir o pijama e ficar confortável.

Only at this hour when I eat dinner. Also because it's usually when my sister arrives from work, so it's perfectly on time for me. From here my day can very a lot. There are days that I feel so tired that after eating I just go to the sofa and stay there; other times that I want to relax, I go and be on my pc; when I feel more energized, I actually get some more work done. Specially, if it's nice outside, there is light until super late, that really helps my mood.

Só por volta desta hora é que vou jantar. Também porque é quando a minha irmã chega do trabalho, e assim bate certo. Daqui o meu dia pode variar bastante. Há alguns dias que estou tão cansada, que depois de comer vou para o sofá e fico apenas lá; outras vezes que quero relaxar, vou para o meu computador fazer coisas triviais; quando me sinto mais energizada, eu tento trabalhar um bocado. Especialmente, se estiver bom tempo, e como ainda há luz até tarde, ajuda no meu humor.

For this day, I felt both energized and wanting to relax. So, what I did was worked a little bit on my internship - really just a tiny bit - and also on my blog, here I put a lot more focus. I don't stay too long, unless I'm very invested, because I starting to already feel like that I spend a lot of time in front of a computer.

Para este dia, eu sentia-me tanto energizada como a precisar de descansar. Por isso, trabalhei um pouco no estágio - mesmo só um pouquinho -  e também no blogue, aqui é que me foquei mais. Eu não fico durante muito tempo, a não ser que eu esteja mesmo investida, porque eu já passo demasiado tempo em frente ao computador.

Finally, after I decide I don't want to be working anymore, or my eyes already hurt a bit, I turn off the pc and go do my skincare routine. I don't always do it right away, but I discover that it's the best way. That because, I go afterwards watch a tv show or something and normally I fall asleep. That way I don't have to worry about still having to do it. But I don't always go do it.

Finalmente, depois de decidir que não quero mais trabalhar, ou os meus olhos já estão realmente cansados, desligo o pc e vou fazer a minha rotina de pele. Eu nem sempre faço logo, mas descobri que é a melhor forma. Isso porque depois vou fazer um episódio ou algo na televisão e normalmente deixo me dormir. Assim, não me tenho de preocupar em ainda ter de o fazer. Mas nem sempre o faço.

It's the hour I try to go to bed. I almost never make it, but it's what I want to happen. And since today, I tried to do my ideal routine, taking into account things that I can't change, I'm pretty happy.

Meia-noite

É a hora em que tento ir para a cama. Quase nunca vou, mas é o que quero que aconteça. E uma vez que hoje tentei fazer a minha rotina ideal - tendo em conta algumas coisas que não posso mudar - estou bastante contente.

 Unlike my previous monthly looks, in April I went for a much more casual and comfortable look. I still think it's very beautiful, and when I wore it I felt very confident in it, but I can totally recognize that it's not a fancy outfit. It's for a more casual date, maybe to go bowling or shopping or just a walk in the park. Plus, in my blog I also think it's important to have variety of looks, for every type of situations.

Ao contrário do meu visual do mês anterior, em Abril decidi por um look mais confortável e casual. Eu acho-o na mesma muito bonito, e quando o vesti senti-me confiante nele, mas consigo totalmente reconhecer que não é um outfit chique. É mais para um encontro casual, talvez bowling ou ir às compras ou mesmo só um passeio pelo parque. Para mais, eu gosto que o blogue tenha uma variedade de visuais, para diferentes tipos de situações.

I wouldn't say this look as a vibe, but with certain touches you can definitely make it your own style. Think of it almost like a blank cavas, a base, and now you will paint it according to your own feelings.

As you can see, it's nothing more than a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Obviously, no choice is just a just. For example, the pair of jeans I choose are carpenter jeans - it's an in between of straight cut and flare pants - and for the t-shirt, I decided to go for an oversized band tee. Believe it or not that does put some different jazz to the outfit (in comparison to, for example, skinny jeans and a crop t-shirt). 

To make it less simple, if you wish, play with accessories and the shoes. I went for some gold jewlery: I really like the small hoop earrings and the chunkier necklace is such a statement.

Eu não diria que este look tem um vibe, mas com os toques certos para definitivamente torná-lo no vosso próprio estilo. Imaginem quase como sendo uma tela em branco e agora vão pintar de acordo com o que estão a sentir.

Como podem ver, não é nada mais do que um par de calças de ganga e uma t-shirt. Óbvio que uma escolha nunca é só uma escolha. Por exemplo, as calças são estilo carpinteiro - um intermédio entre retas e à boca de sino - e a t-shirt optei por uma mais larga de banda. Acreditem que dá outro jazz ao outfit (em comparação com por exemplo calças skinny e um crop top).

Para torná-lo menos simples, se quiserem, joguem com os acessórios e os sapatos. Escolhi usar bijuteria dourada: gosto imenso destes brincos de argolas pequenos e um colar mais grosso dá sempre nas vistas.

Usually, for work I do a different looking makeup design. Ever since I fell in love with colourful eyeliners, maybe one year ago or maybe more, I started this "trend" of doing makeup drawings. I do love me some bold coloured eyeshadows, but eyeliner designs are just my favourite thing as of right now.

With that being said, I decided to show and consequently give you some ideas of eyeliners you can do on your daily basis. Obviously, I also do have face makeup, but I basically do the same every time. I also don't use a lot of lipsticks, therefore what changes the most is the eye makeup and it's colours and patterns.

Usualmente, para o trabalho, faço maquilhagens com desenhos diferentes. Desde que me apaixonei pelos eyeliners de cores, talvez há um ano ou mais, comecei esta "tendência" de fazer desenhos. Continuo a adorar sombras coloridas, mas os delineados são a minha coisa preferida neste momento.

Tendo isto dito, decidi mostrar-vos e consequentemente dar ideias de delineados que podem fazer no vosso dia-a-dia. Obviamente, que também aplico maquilhagem de pele, mas basicamente faço o mesmo todos os dias. E também não uso muito batons, por isso o que muda é a maquilhagem de olhos e as suas cores e padrões.

FIRST DAY

This one looks like it doesn't have much, and in reality is quite simple in terms of design, however, in terms of work and its difficulty, it's not that easy - you have to have a steady hand and I, no doubt, recommend the usage of a brush, no liquid eyeliner or pen. But it's so beautifully clean.

I did not use bold eyeshadows, because I wanted the colourful squares to shine. Therefore, I used on the eyelid a neutral colour and one a bit darker on the crease, all in shades of beige and brown. Then I did a brown wing eyeliner [ 3INA eyeliner pen 575 ] with decorated squares alterating colours [SUVA Beauty UV Taffies Hydra FX Palette].

PRIMEIRO DIA

Este parece que não tem muito, e na realidade é bastante simples em termos de design; contudo, em termos de trabalho e dificuldade, não é nada fácil - é preciso ter uma mão precisa e que não trema. Recomendo que usem um pincel e não eyeliners líquidos ou canetas. Mas é muito esteticamente limpo.

Não usei sombras garridas, porque queria que os quadrados brilhassem. Assim sendo, usei na pálpebra cores neutras e uma um pouco mais escura na crease, tudo tons bege e castanho. Depois fiz um delineado com asa [3INA eyeliner pen 575] com quadrados alternamente com diferentes cores [SUVA Beauty UV Taffies Hydra FX Palette].

SECOND DAY

The second makeup look it's a bit easier in the eyeliner department, but harder in the eyeshadow part. For the eyelids, I tried to do a smokey eye with the colours yellow, orange and pink. I'm not the best with eyeshadows, I have a harder time blending, however this one came out really nice.

For the eyeliner, I kept it simple and only used white [ 3INA eyeliner pen 100 ]. The design it's abstract, the only detail that I wanted was to one of the drawings to look like a shooting star.

SEGUNDO DIA

A segunda maquilhagem é um pouco mais fácil em termos de delineado, mas mais difícil na parte das sombras. Para os olhos, decidi tentar fazer um esfumado com as cores amarelo, laranja e rosa. Não sou a melhor com sombras, tenho dificuldade em que fique tudo uniforme, mas este saiu muito bem.

Para o eyeliner, mantive-o simples e apenas usei branco [3INA eyeliner pen 100]. O design é abstrato, o único detalhe que queria era que uma parte se parecesse com uma estrela cadente.  

THIRD DAY

It's another simple looking makeup look, but the eyeliner is more intricate. Just like the first one, when the eyeliner is already a big star, I keep the eyeshadows pretty neutral and only use beige and brown.

It's also a one colour show, yellow [SUVA Beauty UV Taffies Hydra FX Palette]. For inspiration, I tried to use in a abstract drawing elements of speed and lightning.

TERCEIRO DIA

É outra maquilhagem mais simples, mas o delineado é mais complexo. Tal como o primeiro, quando o eyeliner é a estrela, gosto de manter as sombras neutras e usar apenas beges e castanhos.

É também um espetáculo de uma só cor, amarelo [SUVA Beauty UV Taffies Hydra FX Palette]. Para o desenho abstrato tentei retirar inspiração de elementos de velocidade e raios.

FOURTH DAY

Abstract is always a bit easier and you can do so much more, believe it or not. It's just circles and lines and splashes and it just stands out and impress people. However, a good specific drawing of something also is very beautiful and as you may think harder.

In only shades of blue [KRASH to die for glitter eyeliner SMS], I did a normal wing eyeliner and then in the outer corner a moon with little dots to simbolize the stars and one or two sparkles. To make the eye makeup a little more fairy like, I added shiny blue eyeshadow in the inner corner.

QUARTO DIA

Abstrato é sempre mais fácil e podem fazer muito mais, acreditem ou não. É apenas círculos e linhas e salpicos e simplesmente destaca-se e impressiona as pessoas. Porém, um desenho bem definido de algo é também muito bonito e como podem imaginar mais difícil.

Em apenas tons de azul [KRASH to die for glitter eyeliner SMS], fiz um eyeliner normal e depois no canto externo decorei com uma lua e pequenos pontos para simbolizar estrelas e um ou dois brilhos. Para tornar a maquilhagem mais de fada, adicionei um sombra azul com brilho no canto interno.

FIFTH DAY

Finally, for the work friendly eyeliner designs, I did, again, a simple but straight foward makeup look. It's a bit similar to the previous one, and at the same time a mix of others that I showed you, but more tamed. And more cute. As you can see, with the same palette and colours you can really do a lot of different things.

I combined two tones: yellow and blue [SUVA Beauty UV Taffies Hydra FX Palette] and did the same blue inner corner dot, like the previous makeup I showed you. In the crease I did a yellow line contouring the eye bone and one both side of the line some defined stars.

QUINTO DIA

Finalmente, na saga de delineados bons para o trabalho, eu fiz, outra vez, um look simples mas direto. É um pouco semelhante ao anterior, e ao mesmo tempo mistura outros que mostrei, mas é mais controlado. E mais fofo. Como podem ver, com a mesma paleta e cores podem fazer vários desenhos.

Combinei dois tons: amarelo e azul [SUVA Beauty UV Taffies Hydra FX Palette] e fiz o mesmo ponto azul no canto. Na crease fiz uma linha amarela a contornar o olho e em ambos os lados da linha desenhei estrelas bem definidas.
