This is quite random, specially because I'm not that great with hair, but I decided that maybe that's the appeal I should go for. If you have short hair and you're not very handy with hairstyles this is the post for you, because I am like that. Also, I started giving more credit to what hair can do to a look. It can make it more preppy or more rock, with the same clothes - it's almost like makeup. 

Between the morning rush to get to university on time, not having great hair everytime and having to figure it out how to style short hair, I leave here 5 hairstyles (+ my hair normal/ just down and curly) that I used during my week:

Isto é bastante aleatório, especialmente, porque eu não sou muito boa com cabelo, mas decidi que talvez esse seja o apelo. Se tens cabelo curto e não és muito habilidosa com penteados este é o post para você, porque eu sou assim. Também comecei a dar mais crédito ao que o cabelo pode fazer num visual. Pode ficar mais formal ou mais rock, com a mesma roupa - é quase como a maquilhagem.

Entre a correria matinal para chegar a tempo à universidade, não ter sempre o cabelo bonito e ter que descobrir como pentear o cabelo curto, deixo aqui 5 penteados (+ o meu cabelo normal/ só solto e encaracolado) que usei durante a minha semana:

#1 - Half tied behind with a hair clip 

This one is definitely one that I don't use much, because I always feel that I have to have a certain style of clothing to look good. Plus, it has some weaknesses: falls a bit during the day and you can't rest your head properly. I also advised using a prettier hair clip to take the hairstyle to another level.

Este é definitivamente um que eu não uso muito, porque eu sempre sinto que tenho que ter um certo estilo de roupa para ficar bem. Além disso, tem alguns pontos fracos: cai um pouco durante o dia e não é muito confortável para descansar a cabeça. Também aconselho a usar um gancho de cabelo mais bonito para elevar o penteado a outro nível.

#2 - Ear tuck in one side with hairpins

I absolutely love hairpins right now. I feel like that they really can spice up the look. In addition that there are so many and some very extravagant ones. In my case, I used two, because I like to pair these two shades - pink and purple. This hairstyle is also very practical, because it takes some hair out of your face and gives a sophisticated appearance.

Eu absolutamente amo ganchos de cabelo agora. Eu sinto que eles realmente podem apimentar o visual. Para além disso, existem tantos e alguns muito extravagantes. No meu caso, usei dois, porque gosto de combinar estes dois tons - rosa e roxo. Este penteado também é muito prático, pois tira alguns cabelos do rosto e dá uma aparência sofisticada.

#3 - Two space buns in half of the hair

On me, I prefer to do space buns on only half of my hair, because I think it suits my face better, and honestly I can do it better than with all of my hair. Out of all of the hairstyles, this one it's definitely the one most difficult and extravagant. Overall, it's a very cute hairstyle - it reminds me of a teddy bear - but paired with some genre of clothing it can be a rockstar style too.

Em mim, prefiro fazer coques em apenas metade do cabelo, porque acho que combina melhor com o meu rosto, e honestamente faço melhor do que com todo o cabelo. De todos os penteados, este é definitivamente o mais difícil e arrojado. No geral, é um penteado muito fofo - lembra-me um ursinho - mas combinado com algum gênero de roupa também pode ser um estilo rockstar.

#4 - Headband w/ funky hairclips

When I go for a headband is because I chose to use my bangs and not just put them aside. Of course, cause I do that basic hairstyles, I lean a lot in accessories, that's why in this case I used out there hairclips, for example, this ones have hello kitties. To make it more resistent, I also used bobby pins, but I try to hide them.

Quando eu opto por uma bandolete é porque escolhi usar a minha franja e não apenas colocá-la de lado. Claro, uma vez que faço penteados básicos, que eu apoio-me muito em acessórios, por isso neste caso usei ganchos de cabelo que dão nas vistas, por exemplo, estes têm hello kitties. Para torná-lo mais resistente, também usei ganchinhos, mas tento escondê-los.

#5 - Low bun w/handkerchief

Because I also need to look elegant, one of my most used hairstyles is the low messy bun. When my hair is not in a good day, it's the quickest and put together one. For my style, I like it better messy, specially I think it works and looks better in my curls. Finally, again to spice it up, I wrapped around a scraf (not a simple one), left the points long to pop up more.

Visto que eu também preciso de estar elegante, um dos meus penteados mais usados é o coque baixo desarrumado. Quando o meu cabelo não está num bom dia, este é o mais rápido e arrumado. Para o meu estilo, gosto mais bagunçado, principalmente porque acho que funciona e fica melhor nos meus caracóis. Finalmente, novamente para apimentar, enrolei um lenço (não um simples), deixei as pontas longas para aparecer mais.

Bonus - Normal hair

Obviously, sometimes my hair looks good. It doesn't depends solely on me, we all know that with curls, specially, but it also has something to do with the products I use. So, my normal routine is putting some  oils, not much, and focus more on the gel and really mold my hair how I want it. My secret weapon, though, is letting it air dry.

Obviamente, às vezes o meu cabelo está bom. Não depende só de mim, todos sabemos disso, principalmente, tendo caracóis, mas também tem a ver com os produtos que uso. Então, a minha rotina normal é colocar alguns óleos, não muito, e foco-me mais no gel e em realmente moldar o meu cabelo como eu quero. A minha arma secreta, mesmo, é deixar o cabelo secar ao ar livre.
